Gerrit, thank you so much for this video. My daughter inherited an Imperial 7000 model and there was no manual. She is brand new to sewing and she wants me to teach her, yay! I have been sewing for over 45 years and I do not recall ever seeing this type of bobbin winding. Your video is very helpful and I am going to try it. Do you have a video to explain how to use the various zig zag, quilting, etc. stitches? Since no manual seems to exist, I have no idea where to begin to use the other features of this machine. My wife inherited a machine that had standard bobbins in the case and was confused when they didn't work. Without that spring you have nothing. The book on her Singer did not show the bobbin but mentioned clear bobbins and showed a picture of a regular clear bobbin.
