LOVE this video so much! Makes me miss Europe and “old things.” And good food. When you compare the Cordoba Mosque-Cathedral and the Alcazar with the Ancestral Puebloan pueblos and cliff dwellings… The sheer size, scale and beauty of what was built in Europe at that time is just mind blowing.
The information that you you shared with the Cordova section is very impressive and how much knowledge you have about what your your audience is is looking at Bravo to you buddy
It is mind blowing listening of towns as old as 2000 years and people still living in there, whole civilizations coming and going, and yet, people is mostly unchanged.
Loved it. In all the efforts you made to capture those impressive buildings, give the accounts of history, navigate unknown streets and survive the heat and uncomfortable van accommodations, I hope you know that you succeeded in creating a another entertaining and valuable video. It’s easy to see that you enjoyed this trip immensely. How could one’s spirits not be raised by visiting such places? Definitely cheered me up. Thank you!
Such a magnificent cathedral. All the marble and gold. It’s amazing that someone with immense talent carved and created all that so long ago. Great video!
Hi Robert, great episode! Summer time in Andalucia its really hot, now you know it :) I'm sorry to inform you, but you've missed the correct spot to dump the K7...it was in the back, not in the front...that's only to collect water that falls down...
Another fine video. I liked Cordoba more than Madrid. Cordoba is quieter and less hectic. I thought that Robert was going to be forever lost in the mosque/cathedral. I started humming the Kingston Trio comic folk music hit from the 1950s, The MTA, about a man who was stuck on the Boston subway. "and he never returned. He never returned, and his fate is still unlearned ..."
I am loving all the pedestrian areas but where does everybody park? The architecture is stunning! The heat would have gotten to me as well out walking so much in the middle of the day.The markets would be so much fun to explore. You are expanding my horizons. I don't think I would like a wet bath either. Really enjoying Spain😍
Thank you, now i want to see Cordoba, fantastic video. Sorry for your shitty car. 2013 we made a trip from New Hamburg , Ontario tu Florida with an old Dodge RV from the 90`s without AC, but the car was well maintained from a friend who give us his car. I think you should look for a sponsor in Europe , like Hymer or anyone else, for those trips. Greetings from Hamburg
Hey buddy I watched the what your video they're from Over the hell is it from Toledo and I just finished talking to my buddy who's done by Las Vegas and this is it scares me to travel man LOL
Hi Robert, have you been to Quray (Switzerland of America) The old Switzerland Trail mining town narrow gauge railroad path, now navigable by most any SUV, is a very scenic route west of Boulder.
Having visited southern Spain and seeing all the old Islamic architecture around I am curious to know what lasting impacts the Spanish Moors had on Spanish culture and still exists today? I figure the paella for one is a direct import from the Middle East but I imagine there are others.
@@TravelingRobert thank goodness! We are so enjoying your Spain trip and feel very sorry about the lack of air conditioning in the van, I can't imagine trying to sleep at night at those temperatures with no AC running. I know you're back from that trip already, but we're living it now and feeling sorry for you. Love your videos! You do such a great job!
Did the Indie Camper people know who you were when they saddled you with that piece of crap? By the way, you went right by where my wife and I stayed at La Plaza Del Potro. We loved Córdoba.
Yup "those ones" they are lacking that commonsense courtesy brain cell parking right next to you lol probably the same ones that don't return grocery carts; ones that sit right next to you in a movie theater when they have the entire theater, etc etc etc ITS THAT ME ME attitude and not careless about others, pretty sad!
This trip seems miserable to me. The crappy RV and the weather just would have sent me to the nearest airport. Your being cheap. Should have checked into a hotel. Just ruins a what could have been so nice. The sites are great. Who planned this trip?
I did, and we had such a great time. The van was an inconvenience but also a great adventure. Not having to pack a suitcase everyday and being able to camp by the ocean more than made up for it.
@@pattiwhite9575 I'm in Europe and that's simply not true. There are millions of RVs traveling in Europe without issues. Robert just had bad luck with the unit he rent. BTW, there is always the option to stay in Camping Parks, that have other conditions and amenities available, you just need to pay for it. That's what I do, with a caravan ( trailer )
Stop mentioning the word Europe when you mean Spain. You are in Spain which happens to be in Europe but there is no such thing as an European standard. Every country has it own culture and habbits. It’s not the united States of Europe.
I really enjoy how you inject all of the historical facts into your videos great job 👏
Beautiful Cordova! Wonderful introduction to the history of Southern Spain. Really enjoyed the accompanying music.

Welcome to Spain, Cordoba is a stunning city to explore😉
Thanks again for an amazing episode Robert!! Enjoyed Cordoba, Spain. 🇪🇸
Spain is a Gorgeous country!!
I'm really enjoying your European travels. The architecture of the mosque/cathedral is mind-blowing.
Visiting Spain is definitely on my bucket list👍
Dont do as Robert did and go in the spring time.
The comment about the accordion music who is freaking hilarious

Robert excellent filming, such beautiful examples. Can you imagine being a construction worker in era?
Beautiful Cathedral and Mosque.
Wow another amazing video! Well done.
* your RV provides a very nice shady spot for someone to park in! :)
Well ,I never been to Spain but I kinda like the music🍺🍷🍻😎
I would use that van for a get around vehicle and I would be renting a hotel room or air BB -Spain is beautiful 🤩

Cordoba absolutely spectacular, fantastic videos. Thanks Robert 👏👏👌👌👍👍👍
The story of your camper van sounds like the one of Cruise America that I rented in 1992. Never again, Cruise America.
I was curious to try and rent from that company in the future. No A/C is a deal breaker from me.
Thank you for another awesome video Mr. Robert.

Many words in the Spanish language have Arabic roots as well.

Maybe in France they have air conditioner in the rear, but just in case I would go when the weather is colder.,
Do you prefer the European RV cassette toilet or the US black tank hose?😮
I prefer the black tank
Wow! Cordorba is good place😊 Seville is better! Which I visited in the 1970’s😎🇺🇸☘️👻
LOL how long did it take you to find the exit
Do you plan to visit Valencia too?
Yes... for sure
I forgot about what happened about why the van doesn’t have any air conditioning? Or did you even mention it in your last video?
It doesn't. Many RVs in Europe don't have AC in the back
Robert I need a new mattress for my mini wini
Do you have a recommendation?
So many 😊
Thank you
This is the one that I advertise rvmattress.com/travelingrobert
Heat doesn't just mess with your brain, it messes with everyone's. I would use a cap or some kind of hat.
Does the camper van have a chassis AC, so at least you guys can cool off a little bit while you're driving?
Yes it does

What is a wet bath? Is it a type of toilet?
Shower, sink, and toilet together in one wet small room.
My family was expelled from Spain in 1492 during the expulsion of the Jews.
