No, this is not a top 5 defense. Again, you keep looking at stats that are inflated because they beat up on a ton of bad teams. However, when they played good teams the defense got torn up. I don't think we know if this defense is good until they prove it against a legit playoff team.
Agree vehemently that stats are inflated : they’re based on a ton of bad teams. Need to reinforce run /pass rushing defense, offensive line /offensive line/Tight ends.
