As a 43 year aerospace welder and fabricator I can teach anybody to do a good professional weld on a single position and operation that's preset with most any type of welding in a fairly short period of time.(production line welding....) What takes a lot of time to learn is the finesse of all positions different thicknesses different alloys different meteorological conditions and temperatures and finally different types of welding processes. When you have mastered this you are truly a professional welder and this only happens with a lot of time and experience.
On your small spool of wire put the spool on the take washer and then put your spring and the nut on it and leave the spool holder off I did this when I got my new 235 and my welding store didn’t have a big roll of wire
No 2 welders run the same play with your Settings and set it up to your speed Turn up-and-down your amps and your wire speed it looked an sounds like it was to hot and wire speed was too fast ever welder has it sweet spot

Thanks for the tip.
tip for m18 bandsaw, build a wall mount for it and you can use it like a small bandsaw.
Thanks
Was that a sneak peak of the bass boat with new carpet in the intro 👍
Yes. It will have carpet this time.
Volcan Omni pro 220 is a bad ass unit. TIG MIG Stick AC/DC 110 220 volt and it’s an inverter unit. I have one and I build 100k $ industrial machinery.
Yeah, I love that welder. I believe that it’s only DC though.

What gas are you using? Argoshield heavy?
Just standard argon, I believe.

Now that you can weld proficiently. Build a boat from scratch next.
I'll look into it.
Try doing w’s instead of making c’s or as you both say rocking back and forth.
Thanks, I’ll try it out.
