Great overview - have the Go Pack 2 since a few weeks and it has quickly become my go-to daily bag, it is so well built en sleek - holds all I need on a day (for a laptop better to protect it in a sleeve - but holds a 12.9 ipad pro (in a case) without problem. Just enough organisation to tuck some smaller items away. Organisation here does not stand in the way of its flexibility. The materials are also quite weatherproof…
Go Pack 2 is so underrated! I originally bought it as a packable backpack for travel, but now use it all of the time as an EDC bag. It's so lightweight yet can hold quite a lot for a 20L bag.
Same boat. Going for TP3 small due to full admin panel, load lifters, and compression straps. When the CPP is loaded out, it will hang back and pull you back as per pack hacker review. Can't go wrong either way though!
@@Nawit22 i got the TP3S last week and returning it for the City Pack Pro. I use it for work and a medium sized EDC. The TP3S was really nice but very heavy and bulky for public transport. This will be slightly smaller and a lot lighter, with a better water bottle holder. There’s also an overwhelming amount of pockets/zips/compartments for me, but I do prefer the full organisation compartment over the City Pack Pro though. Better keyring placement on the City Pack Pro. Both XPAC for me. Hope this helps!

I ended up getting both. The City Pack is small and great for me as my EDC, and the City Pack Pro is bigger and great if you also want to include cloths. For me, if I want to bring my gym cloths and shoes (and lunch box), the Pro is perfect as the City Park is too small to hold them. Also for travel, if I'm bringing a carry-on or big suitcase, the City Pack is perfect to hold smaller items that are needed for quick access. If I'm only doing a 1-3 day trip where I don't need a carry-on, the Pro is perfect; Pro is also great for a parent if you also need to carry baby/kids items (I.E. diapers, wipes, milk/bottles, extra set of cloths, jackets, etc.).
Desy Great Video ! Would you still go with the city pack pro for EVERY day. I am looking for the small daily carrier with some expansion for when I need to carry more stuff (like going to kids sporting events etc. I have thought about going even smaller but carry a packable duffel that I can take out when I need the extra carry (or packable tote) thank you Again!
hey thanks! Haha I've also been using Vertx Readypack 2.0 a lot as an everyday pack. But stay tuned... Aer is releasing some new bags in the middle of March. stay tuned as I got a video coming up on those!
Great video still feel the city pro is the way to go? I am looking for a travel backpack BUT only as a 2nd bag ( with a carryon ) and also an everyday backpack when I need to carry more stuff to the office. Do you like XPac or the Cordura ? Thank you?
Good point. The day pack 2 was a good one. Used it for over a year, until i moved to the city pack. The flight pack 3 also didnt make it to this list, which im considering now…
This is what I was looking for! Great video!!
stay tuned im going to do an updated video of this in the next week or so!

i agree, its amazing! i dont think ill ever get rid of it unless they come out with a Go Pack 3 =)
FYI correction: the City Pack Pro is 24 L. A great quick review of the most popular Aer bags!
thanks for the note!
Thank you for making this video. I’ve been struggling to choose between the City Pack Pro and the Travel Pack 3 Small. This helps!
What did you end up going with and why? Stuck between those two as well!
What did you go with? I’m still struggling.

Debating between the City Pack and City Pack Pro. I do prefer the side carry handle on the City Pack though.

Thanks a lot for this overview. Think I'm with you in that the city pack pro seems "just right"/"Goldilocks" for EDC/travel hybrid.
all of their bags are so good! so tough to choose between them!

I went regular, xpac to noisy. I went travel 3, big for edc but it’ll do
@4:13, there should be a chapter for Air Fit pack 3. Otherwise, appreciate sharing the range of packs from AER.
