Hey Dustin, plenty of locals who know those woods and wish they were on your adventure. Not much water as you found out. Epic ride bro!! Been watching you like forever
OMG, what an incredible ride, and as always an AWESOME fun video. That camera strap looks awesome, and you really liked that bike (and it did well). Keep 'em coming, DK!
Big Basin! Camped there years ago-Redwoods blew me away. The laugh on the sketchy re-direct away from the cliff! the shooting/editing style invigorating as usual. I've poured orange gatorade into a coors light, but while golfing. Called it blakerade. all rights released into the wild.
I watched almost entire video until 9:50 not noticing the camera attachment! Then it blew my mind. So awesome for photographer riders. Also epic video and editing!
Awesome as always I dig my Magic Carpet ride especially for the chunder but dig my revolt for light and fast rides. The great thing is there are so many good options out there and on the competitive cyclist you can even go back in time a bit to get a specific colorway
Damn I live in Monterey! Glad you enjoyed big basin! Would love to ride with you next time your in Cali! you have a bunch of fans in the area, rubbersidedown! Stay stoked!
I love santa cruz. Hope you rode wilder ranch too Funny thing. Im in kelso wa looking for advice crosding the 433 bridge to get to portland tomorrow. Any thoughts?
Just bought a Hakka. Running it with 45c on 21 internal rims. Feels great and there's enough clearance for sand and some debris. Definitely don't want to ride that thru mud tho.
Agree with you on the good road characteristics. Disagree with you on making it more adventure ready. I got the hakka for its race orientation. There are so many other bikes that can do good as an adventure bike (like the Devinci Hatchet).
I have no idea what this route was. Best way to source is look at my strava or RidewithGPS(both linked in notes) and search for April 2023 It will be the only long ride in California. Hope that helps

We need you on the next one!

Coorsaide for the win!
I like the variety of drinks you got. I think it's more effective than trying to slam a bunch of water
Sad day when I sold my Hakka...loved that bike.

Mountain biking in Santa Cruz is awesome!
I need to know where you get the music for your videos. That cover of 'I Wish' can't just be a royalty free track.
