I am so happy for you guys 🙏❣️ can't wait to see this chanel grow more, I love seeing them sorry for all the missed views guys, just been super busy, sending love to my Okinawa family (and to you) all love, health and best luck may the heavens bless this chanel and give you everything you bless others ..thanks. - your cus kai
You two are THE most adorable people. Both of your lovely and calm narrations make your content so enjoyable. I LOVE that you visit Okinawa, my Mothers home and where I spent my first years. Thank you!! ❤❤❤
Looks a lot like Hawaii! Watching you guys I feel like I am in Hawaii. Would love to visit someday. Thanks guys for sharing the most beautiful scenery of Japan. Love to watch you guys!
That place looks so beautiful. Looks like a beach in Hawaii or Miami Beach with the white sand and clear blue water. BTW, Happy birthday Shinichi!!! 🥳🥳🥳🥳
Guys, thanks for the nice tour of Ishigaki island!! My first visit to Ishigaki was in 1988, very nice place! Around 1993, I went with my friends to Iriomote and Taketomo islands. Taketomi is a short 10 minute boat ride from the Ishigaki harbor. Iriomote is farther, around a 50 minute ride. Both islands are beautiful and are great places to visit. I highly recommend.
OMG but I love all your channels gentlemen!🥰 The food looks so beautiful and yummy 😋🤤 I'm jealous 😍 Japan is an amazingly beautiful country! I would not mind living there at all 😂😊 The 2 of you are a lovely and gracious couple and should be compensated by the Japanese tourist industry.... really.⛩️🇯🇵🍜
Everything looks so tasty and beautiful! Yep, I found Getto Ocha a couple of years ago and sent it to mom. Now I'm making it from my own Getto/sanin/Shell Ginger/Alpinia Zerumbet plant, which actually was sent to me from Okinawa! 😊😊😊 It's over 20 yrs old now. I haven't made Oki donuts in a long time...I'm not as good as mom though. Enjoyed this one...have a great trip my brothers. XOXO 😘 🤗 😘
Beautiful scenery, Delicious food and I found it "Interesting" and enjoyed watching your walking along the water. So very peaceful. Thanks guys for another Great video 🙂🙂
Every time you're in Okinawa I think that it's a perfect combination of Japan and Hawaii. SO beautiful and familiar. And the _food!_ It's always so appealing. The onisasa is ingenious and looks delicious. The sata andagi make my mouth water. The umibudo is fascinating to me--I've always wanted to experience its "puchi-puchi" texture and its play between sweetness and brininess. And, what a way to end the day with Blue Seal mango and shiquasa ice cream! Yum!! The two of you always make my heart happy! And, I love to see you put your arm around Satoshi's shoulders, or some such, Shinichi. I've read that physical intimacy in public (especially between same sex couples) is not really a thing in Japan. I relate to your physicality and, wrong or right, always see the friendly manner of the Hawaii I knew as a child in your openness. So much aloha to you both. ❤❤
that bay is beautiful beyond description! you are so fortunate to travel and see - the food is yummy! love this video and thank you for sharing this trip! 💕
YES!! Oh wow, thanks so much guys. I'll be there later this year and since I've been watching your videos (walking tours, personal vlogs and food reviews alike) for years, your word is bond. If you tell me something is worth checking out, I'm so there. I've marked a few things down into my travel itinerary notebook already. I'm greatly appreciative. I wonder how expensive car hire and fuel is on Ishigaki? Back to my research... 😊🙏🕵♀📚📕
Hello responding to my own comment six months post trip just to tell anybody reading this in the future that car hire is startlingly cheap, as is fuel. Definitely make sure you have the right international drivers license as they only accept the 1949-agreement one. A car is a MUST. Bye bye!
This video is perfectly timed! We are currently planning our trip and Ishigaki is on the itinerary . You have provided us much needed inspiration on what to see and do. 😊
Thank you so much for this lovely video and great insights into Ishigaki's food! I'm planning my trip there right now, so this is a fabulous inspiration!
Ishigaki is stunning! But I think you need a car to get around, not much public transportation? The onisasa looks delicious! And so fun. And I would definitely try the onigiri with sweet potato and the fishcakes.
We had a cruise trip and one of the destinations was Nara, Okinawa but the ship had some engines troubles so we had to re-route to Ishigaki instead. I was initially bummed about it but then I realized would not have had the opportunity to visit this beautiful and quaint island if not for it. I wish I was afforded the time to research about the island, though. Else I would've sought out their delicacies. Thank you for the trip down memory lane!
So many fun and delicious foods! Nice you could enjoy them outside with fantastic views. I wish I could try umibudo. The egg reminds me of the pickled eggs I make using juice from pickling beets. Have you ever had a pickled egg?
I am watching this video over and over bec we are going to ishigaki. Just wanted to get tips where to park if we are going to A&W and Genki Dairy Shop in the city?🙏 thank you!
You are both completely awesome! Your videos take us to amazing places in Japan. I may not be able to go there, but I can be taken there with your videos! Thank you for everything you do! 😊
I would be so bummed not being allowed to swim in the water, it looks so gentle and wonderfully clear. Even to be able to walk in the water would be really nice.
I nearly cried at the thought you couldn't get in. I've been talking long term Okinawa visits and I saw that bay and thought 'thats it I'm going ' --- but you can't enjoy the water 😭
YUM. I do wonder - as I'm going to Japan for 2 or 3 weeks or more this year.. What places do you definitely recommend seeing in all of Japan?? I'm interested in nature, sceneries, food, culture, animals... Not too interested in the MOST touristy places personally. but not sure how to avoid them :-)
That as very tough question. There are so many places to choose from. If it’s your first time, i always recommend spending some time in Tokyo and perhaps a bit of Kyoto. If you’d prefer less touristy. Nara is a good alternative to Kyoto, although it’s still popular with domestic tourists. Nature can be found everywhere even in Tokyo, like the Ome area. There are many hidden gems in and around the big cities. You can also check out Shimane prefecture. You can see some of the places we visited from this playlist. ruclips.net/p/PL9YvA_kNlc2Fh1Oho_w-W9tmOLEqgE7WA

I love Shinichi’s calm demeanor. Nothing bugs him.
🤣
Is that a pun on the last video about wharf roaches and Shinichi.. if yes that was a good one. Lol. We love u S&S!
Including that bug on his ice cream. Wonder how he reacted when he saw the video later???
@@perdomot I actually saw that!!
The bug in the ice cream...lol
The tuna and umi-budo are glistening and vibrant like gemstones...what a beautiful, and delicious looking dish 😊😊
That one Shiquasa scoop had a tiny , tiny speck of extra protein. (;^_^)
You two are THE most adorable people. Both of your lovely and calm narrations make your content so enjoyable. I LOVE that you visit Okinawa, my Mothers home and where I spent my first years. Thank you!! ❤❤❤
Thank you so much! Okinawa is one of our fav places in Japan.
Did anyone noticed the dead bug on the shiquasa ice cream? 29:27
Looks a lot like Hawaii! Watching you guys I feel like I am in Hawaii. Would love to visit someday. Thanks guys for sharing the most beautiful scenery of Japan. Love to watch you guys!
Bestie!!!! I think you ate a bug in your shiquasa ice cream 😭
Little protein wont hurt
I saw that too 😅
I was like is that a bug? lol

Awesome video and Happy Birthday Shinichi 🎉🎉🎉
Thank you so much 😀
Looking forward to go to Ishigaki island 🏝 in the future
Shinichi, at 29:28, there seems to be a fly on your shikwasa ice cream
That onisasa is such an ingenious combination. They absolutely should sell this food in mainland Japan and even South Korea and Hawaii.
Right? Totally agree
Kinpira gobo was one of the first Japanese dishes I learned to make. Many years ago.
The scenery there is breathtaking!
That place looks so beautiful. Looks like a beach in Hawaii or Miami Beach with the white sand and clear blue water.
BTW, Happy birthday Shinichi!!! 🥳🥳🥳🥳
A tiny gnat fell on Shinichi’s ice cream and he loved it
Extra protein! 😄
Didn't have to pay extra for it either. LOL

Happy Birthday!!🎂Everything looked so good. And the bay was so beautiful. You guys sure are living the life.
The seaweed (that came with the tuna) reminds me of tiny strung preasous emerald beads, so delicate and beautiful.

I am watching this video over and over bec we are going to ishigaki. Just wanted to get tips where to park if we are going to A&W and Genki Dairy Shop in the city?🙏 thank you!
I hope you got rid of that fly that dive bombed your ice cream just before you ate it Shinichi!
Haha we actually bought a new one! But I mistakenly used the wrong footage!
I really wanna try umibudo, especially if it looks as round and plump as what you had here.
You are both completely awesome! Your videos take us to amazing places in Japan. I may not be able to go there, but I can be taken there with your videos! Thank you for everything you do! 😊
Where is shatoshi from Is it near the ocean .
This island would be great as a relaxing holíday place

The Fish Tempura looks like a german Backfisch or like the one you get with Fish and Chips. Which is essentially the same xD
Hope you didn't eat that fly! @29:23
😵💫
No, they didn't. Please see Tabieat's comment above↥

29:27 you have a bug on your ice cream!
The pink on the egg might have been because it was put in beet juice. I use to know somebody who pickled eggs that way.
Don't tell me he ate that bug that was chilling on the ice cream.
Your video is calming but the bell sound is too high pitched
please tell me, you saw the mosquito and your first bite was after removing it .o.o.
i'm glad you had a nice time there.
morning from South Africa.
Is non alcoholic beer widely available in both Okinawa and mainland Japan?
❤My god beautiful beach AND donuts!!!!! Shit !!!!🥰
😆
So there are frerries running now?
So, is it like Japans Hawaii, like Hawaii is to the United States?
Kind of yes!
How did you 2 get so handsome? I think it's like you both rub off on each other! 😘🤪 great videos!

@@TabiEats your welcome sweethearts!

The guy in the beard should not try to speak English. I will not watch this video again!
Did the sherbert taste better with or without the bug on it? ;)
