Just added a JK Wrangler to my channel (my fiancé s jeep) and I have a Ram Power Wagon. We love off-roading and we love your channel! Definite inspiration to build up our Jeep 🇺🇸👍 Great videos
As always another great video!!! Awesome to see some closer to stock and a stocker running with you!! And.....A YJ!!! as a YJ owner it's always nice to see one hanging with the plethora of JKUs...
Boy this brought back some memories! I was stationed at Fort Irwin for almost 2 years in '05-'07 and did a ton of wheeling in the Calico Mountains as well as most of the Big Bear trails and the Anza Borrego stuff. I'm jealous of you guys!!! Great video!
Dragonflyy 65 That's a really really easy trail. Most of which doesn't even need 4wd Lol Personally, it's a fun trail if you have a stock vehicle or for a first time there, but honestly, I think it's quite boring after you've already done it once.
Nice views ! Many a camper use a 10"/or 12' Cast Iron Skillet. They hold the heat better when outdoors in the wind etc. And a 10" or 12" Cast Iron Dutch Oven for when you really want to go the mile for oven cooked fresh biscuites fueled by only the campfire ! Plus they are rugged and won't require kid gloves when storing them or during use.
Another inspiring trail video. Thanks for that. That will be my rule when we're ready to hit the trails. Anything a stock Wrangler Willy's can handle is what we'll explore. Thanks again and keep up the great work. Also, excellent advice on keeping the person behind you in your mirror. As a motorcyclist this is a big group ride rule. Because it works.
I also drive a two door so I'm more of a Jeep-camper, and I totally understand what you mean about the cooking. Looks like you've become a full-blood overlander. I'm dreaming of adding an unlimited diesel JL to the garage as I tramp around Europe. Great content as always!
That looked like so much fun. I wish Ohio had some places like that. I plan on packing the rig with me and the dog and hitting up the West Coast for trials. BTW, thanks for making way for the tarantula.
Wow, 34 rigs on the trail at one time. That's a huge group. Looking forward to the second video! Been there some years ago, I gotta get back to the desert soon!
How are those rooftop tents in windy conditions? We camp in Owen's Valley, up through ButterMilk where the wind is constant, I'd guess maybe 30mph. We sleep in the back of the JKUR, but that tent looks spacious.
On my last night in Baja I encountered high winds ruclips.net/video/Dqww539G7RA/видео.html and the tent held up very well. I did take the rainfly off just because it was flapping against the side and making a good amount of noise.
I remember the Arch. we used to camp next to that every Easter when I was a little guy back in the early 70's. There weren't any tracks near it for vehicles back then though. The area probably doesn't look as nice as it did back then (from what I can remember). the last time I was there was about 1989-90.
Shoot I️ was leaving Fort Irwin yesterday after almost 3 months of not no days off. Had I️ known I️ would have made a quick stop to dust the trails with you all. I️ was in a hurry to head down to Ontario to see my wife and kids. Seams like every time you are around my area, I’m passing you by lol. Some day I’ll run into you. It’s my goal to give you a hand shake. Though I️ ain’t a Jeeper anymore, because I️ sold my Cherokee years ago, I’m still an off road enthusiast and still support the community. Keep on 4-wheeling and making these sick vids for us.
Great video. I have the same tent; the one issue I have is that the mattress compresses too easily. If I sleep on my side, eventually my hip will press against the floor of the tent. Do you have a gpx file, or map from the Day 1 ride? I haven't been to Calico in 40 years and would love to go back.
I was having the same issue with the mattress but then added 1.5' memory foam pad and it made a world of difference. Sorry, don't have a .gpx file this trip.
On day one I don't think we encounter a whole lot of traffic on the tail, but most of the time we don't have any issues. Most folks practice good trail etiquette!
That is lovely to hear Brad. For somebody like us who are usually out single on the trails there is nothing worse than a huge gang who blocks the trail with trucks just in the middle of the trail, open doors, kids and dogs running around...then entire shebang. Go San Diego Jeep Club for your trail etiquette! And thanks for your engaging videos Brad

I love all the positivity within the group. Very rare you see this.
Looks like fun....love the strobes on the one jeep. And the ladies in the blue jeep...beautiful color...nice rig.
You have some of the best wheeling videos out there
You are too kind sir, thank you!
totally agree
As always another great video!!! Awesome to see some closer to stock and a stocker running with you!! And.....A YJ!!! as a YJ owner it's always nice to see one hanging with the plethora of JKUs...
Thank you! They wheel that YJ hard... been out on the trail with them many a time.
Nice to see the YJ. Long live the squares lol. Keep up the nice videos and enjoy the trip!
"gotta love leave springs"!!! Thank you!

Thank you for your service! Great wheeling in Calico and can't wait to hit some snow in the Big Bear soon!
That was like a recon mission. That's a beautiful area. Thanks for sharing 🏆
Its even more spectacular in the spring with a desert bloom... amazing place. Thank you!
thumbs up for stock grand cherokee keeping up
Heck ya, they were having a blast and making easy work of this trail!

Wish someone on the east coast made good wheeling vids like yours!
There has to be someone out there?! I hope to make it out East to do some exploring in the next year.

Editing in this video is 👍I hope people realize how much time goes in editing. THANKS FOR ALL YOUR WORK!!!
Thank you! It does take a bit of time, but it's become a labor of love.
Commenting just to show support.
Greatly appreciated, thank you for the support!
So question, does it help 'the' site when commenting in any way? Or commenting on a comment?
It sure does! RUclips analytics likes engagement.
What a great day Brad! Looked like a ton of fun!!
Always a great time with the San Diego Jeep Club!

Last year we bought a new 2017 Cherokee Trailhawk, we are planning on a trip to San Diego this summer to visit children there!

Great content as always!
It truly so much more enjoyable to have a nice meal vs. freeze dried stuff at the end of a day of exploring! Thank you!
Brad love all your videos !! You definitely are a Pro when it comes to making the videos.
Thank you! I'm still learning... so much about filming and editing I hope to teach myself.
I really enjoy watching your videos. You deserve your own show on TV.
You are too kind, thank you!
Great video ! Really appreciate all your effort into putting your channel together. Thanks!!

A road trip and bringing the dog along... going to be an epic adventure I'll bet!
Very cool video and that Cherokee is awesome! Lol it shows that stock jeeps are just as good and reliable as after market

Love the tent!
Not the biggest group we've ever had, but for this narrow trail, 34 was enough. 96 was our largest, but it was on a short easy trail.
I've been all over these trails since I was 5.
So many trails out there, looking forward to doing some more exploring soon.
Another awesome video! Can't wait for Day 2!!!
Thank you! Will be working on editing day 2 this week.
I just did this trail this past weekend. Great times!
New to Jeeps, you get me excited. Thanks buddy
It's tough not to get excited about all the adventure you can have in a Jeep!
Good times on the trail!
Yes sir!
Nice video, thanks for put this on the internet. Greetings Rene from the Netherlands
sweet- looking forward to day 2! Great vid
awesome! I'll be out there soon. Hilarious that you got the potatoes o'brien! They're the ultimate camp food that goes with everything! Great Video!
The potatoes with the cheese...perfect! Thanks!
I think we can all agree these are the best videos haha. I'm rocking a Trail Recon sticker on my jeep by the way and I live in Tennessee
Right on! Thank you for showing some TrailRecon price out in Tennessee... appreciate it!

Those campers are sick lol nice video !

Can't wait to see Day 2! This has got to be the best YT Jeep channel out there! I was surprised how quickly the rooftop tent set up. Impressive!
I was just as surprised as you about how fast the tent went up... very happy with it! Thank you!
Another great video dude, props !!!
Thanks!
Another great video Brad, look forward to day 2
Thank you! Day two was a whole lotta fun!

Amazing video! So calm and peaceful. Love it. I'm thinking of getting a used JK or saving up for a JL
Love it! Keep up the good work. I'm not too far from Calico, I'm going to have to take my F-150 out there and have some fun one of these days.
Really liking the intro!!
Awesome, thank you!
Great fun. Really enjoyed this video!
Glad you enjoyed it, it was a blast out there!
Small suggestion. Take some aluminum foil and cover your grill. Easy clean up and keeps the grill last and cleaner. GREAT Video
Great Video, can't wait for day 2
Day 2 was a whole lotta fun!
Another great one. Keep em coming Brad!
Thank you very much!

Nice job B-Rad......
Thank you!
Great Video....Those silver Jeeps are awesome!
Jason, I couldn't agree more
Silver rules!!!
blue rules! silver is so 80s
Great video! Thanks for the hard work
Did this trail last year. Terrain is pretty rough lots of sharp edged rocks. Very easy to get lost in here if you're not from the area.
Oh ya, getting lost out there is possible if you don't have some solid navigation.
Fantastic Video, if I ever get back up your way I'm going to get in touch with you guys.
Like the new intro 👍. Keep up the good work man!!!
This is dope dude
Right on!
Great stuff Brad!
Appreciate it, thank you!
Hey Brad. excellent channel can you do a video about how weight influential the offroad performance? Thanks
Hope day 2 is just as good as day 1.
Editing in process....
Did you ever mention what kind of comms ya'll were using with all 34 jeeps?
2m ham? MURS? GMRS/FRS? 11m CB? Please?
Any help with this question please?
Brad, glad you guys had a great time out there. 34 rigs is quite a gang though. Hope not too many folks came the other way or wanted to overtake?
On day one I don't think we encounter a whole lot of traffic on the tail, but most of the time we don't have any issues. Most folks practice good trail etiquette!

Really liked the video!
nid vid brad! felt like i was along for the ride.. haha
Right on! Glad to have you along!
Great video
Thanks!
Ya I live in Toronto went snow wheeling three times with 6 inches of snow on a football field which they never plow no problem with my Rubicon
Sounds like fun!
Nice vid! Put out a playlist Brad, you have great musical taste
Thanks! Finding copyright free music is a challenge, but glad you enjoyed it.
Love the video. At 7:17, what song clip is that?
Another awesome video! That tent looks awesome how much room do you have inside it?
More details to come about the tent in a review video soon.
what is that bumper on the white and orange one
I noticed on your dash you have what appears to be a tablet. What exactly is that?
I was trying out an iPad mounted with a RAM mount, didn't like it.
Which headlinder is that on your jeep?
Mud tires or AT tires for this trail?
The 19 dislikes need spotters to reverse park
I can’t stand those video any more. I’m gonna come to the US to drive with you guys.
Almost time to do it again?
Once the temperatures come down we'll go back I'm sure... one of our favorite local trails.
Now that your sons are in the service or college, does your wife ever go with you?
Once in a blue moon she will come with me, but my dog Rocket will be joining me a little more often now.
nice chemtrails @ 3:36
I need to sell my Suburban and buy a Jeep. have no one to go wheeling with
You can go a lot of places in a Jeep that you can't go in a Suburban.
Just having a Jeep does not make you a Jeeper...get off the trails, make your own path.
Awesome video, thanks for sharing
Great video
Thank you!
