"Torvill and Dean - Behind the Ice Adventures" sheds a very different light on their relationship than other documentaries/ interviews do. Jayne was as dedicated and passionate about her craft as Chris was. She says it was her choice to delay having children because her career came first. Chris might have been a hard taskmaster, but it's obvious that it was because he was right, his ideas were best. That's hard for some people to take. That's the reason so many music bands break up - one person usually emerges as the creative lead, with all the good ideas that bring the band all the success, but sooner or later somebody or everybody in the band gets jealous or feels left out and the band breaks up. It takes a pretty strong person to maintain the sense of oneself in that situation. I think Jayne may have been a lot stronger than people thought and that it was Chris who needed her steady hand to temper his creative genius and channel it properly. It was a one in a million, once in a lifetime partnership that worked brilliantly for each and every performance. Thank you Chris and Jayne for enriching our lives with beauty and joy.

When someone calls their partner stupid as he did, that is humiliating and insulting. I had no idea she had to put up with such petulance. A perfectionist is one thing, but this guy is nonstop insults and negativity. Years of that takes it toll. Any kind of good partnership has to include a measure of respect and I don't see that here, I just see parent/child. I just wish she would have gone off on him a few times and given it right back to him.
I hate that the one example we see of Jayne’s relationship with Phil is also one of her being degraded-“I thought you were supposed to be coordinated”.
Some people on here act as if a couple (intimate or not) never "get into it" sometimes. They are both perfectionists and very close friends. What was caught on tape was next day after the EU Nationals, had committed to BBC to film that day, and one moment in time. Jayne has said in an interview Chris apologized to her. If he was that "bad" they wouldn't have stayed together for so many years. Jayne is a strong woman and is quite capable. Jayne has also said no one knows me better than Chris and vice versa. These two are professional athletes in a demanding sport, passionate about their art, and a tight knit friendship that one bad moment doesn't end it. That is how real life loving relationships work and last.
It's incredibly difficult to watch the way he speaks to Jane. He was incredibly blessed to have such a placid partner because it would never have worked otherwise. His other problem is how closed he is to her opinion on how they should do certain moves to make them work. But I have no doubt he is very aware of his faults because when they've done interviews since he talks about the dynamics. The judges were determined not to let them win that year. Trying not to being biased, they were much better than the other 2 and everyone was shocked.
They lost BECAUSE they are Torvill and Dean! They could make a slight mistake and lose 2 points. Any other competitor could make the same mistake and they'd only lose 1/2 a point. It was so obvious that the judges expected MORE of T&D then they did of any other competitors.
@@ronnig4009 I do not think that is true. As fantastic as they were, their compulsory dances were subpar and almost matronly for their comeback. The rhumba felt a bit dated. The free dance was up for grabs.
Don’t forget he’s the choreographer and the producer and her partner of the piece, he must be stern and Jane knows that because they would never have been so Great if he had not been focused, he means no harm,. You need one of you to be the dominant, if they had been both dominant they would have spent too much time arguing ever to have been great. The same if they had both been docile there would have been no Olympic wins
I think she put up with him because they both had the same goal , to win !! Their skating is faultless , synchronicity perfect and gold medals are proof of this 👍🏻
I agree thats part of it but they really are best friends in real life. They talk on the phone everyday if they can't see each other. Jayne has said Chris knows her better than anyone else and Chris has said he loves everything about Jayne. They addressed him snapping at her and it was basically a rare event. Chris becomes stressed very easy and Jayne is so easygoing that within a matter of minutes they are laughing with each other again. If you haven't read it yet and are interested in learning more about them as people I really recommend their 2014 autobiography. It gives you much better insight into their relationship. This documentary was done in a very limited amount of time and only really shows them in a limited light. They are actually fiercely protective of each other and actually vacation together...I doubt they would do that if they weren't in fact very close.
The thing that shocked me the most about this documentary was Chris asking the little girl for a kiss. Made me realise how much the world has changed. Imagine if someone did that today 😮
I was in the audience of the British Championships when they returned. Their blues was technically perfect. It was as if they were on tramtracks. The ISU wanted that but the judges hadn't got the message in the Europeans.🙄⛸️
You all put dean down because of his strictness for Perfectionist. He’s BRILLIANT in his CHOREOGRAPHIC Dance move, without his PERFECTIONIST there’ll be no GOLD MEDALISTS. Amen. Every Partnership goes thro rough road. 40 years later they still keep going a true Dancing Partnership. If Dean was that bad, why do Jayne stay unlike his last partner.. as in one interview, Christopher said “he cares & look out for Jayne. Get all yr facts right. A Perfectionist 👌🏼 takes their work with PASSION, to Achieved their Goal..
This isn't about the skating. It's about one person using another person as a verbal punching bag to take out all his personal issues and frustrations on. There is not a real partnership if there isn't mutual respect. Why did Jane stay? Why does anyone stay? It's a mystery.
Chris gets into a strop but Jayne knows that nothing but perfection will do and this is borne out by their incredible success. Their "Song of India" routine is the most beautiful routine I have ever seen. They are the best of the best.
Clear to see who drives the partnership - Sport is tough & without Dean driving for excellence there would be no gold. Similarly, Jayne puts up with a lot of stuff so together they made it happen.
I was a LONG time skating fan, and so I have this piece on VHS packed away somewhere! As interesting as this is, by showing Dean as he is behind the scenes, I think it all but ruined his reputation! Very late in life, I had the opportunity to begin skating…which for a while I did 6+ hours daily. I would have my blades sharpened by a former technical judge who never spoke ill of ANYBODY, who knew this pair and many others. He said that Dean was quite abusive towards Torville, and I absolutely believe it.
I know Chris is an absolute perfectionist but the way he talks to Jayne is not on. She deserves a medal, she has the patience of a SAINT. It's his creative drive that pushes them to break new ground but all the creativeness in the world is wasted if someone can't work with their partners. That's why this partnership works. Because she puts up with his relentlessness and abrasive manner. Most other people wouldn't stand for it. And they know that about each other. One without the other just wouldn't work. Together they're unbeatable.
@Kelly Smunt hahahahaha why do you care so much? Youre just makig yourself look like a right bellend. Its possible to be rational and understand that perfectionism and tough love doesnt preclude behaving respectfully to ones partner. In fact if you watch any recent interviews, chris freely admits that greatest regret of his career was how disrespectfully he treated jayne during this time period, and now all that is forgiven and behind them. You dont need to get so worked up defending a guy who has already acknowledged that he was being a bit of an arse in situations like this.
Gracias Trovill and Dean por habernos hecho tan felices en Ottawa hace muchos años y parece que fue ayer que kos emocionaron y nos siguen emocionando con el Bolero de Ravelvy demás videos. Mil gracias.
I’ve watched their practice video a few times. I believe this one was when they were trying to get a routine for the next olympics..but they got a bronze that time after this. They deserved a silver or gold. Either there was real frustration there while practicing or someone was playing to the camera a little. I saw Chris look at the camera once while berating Jayne. I don’t know how they make these practices into pure excellence. It’s amazing to me how it’s pulled together. He seemed rather mean to her. I would have responded Yes. I’ll go home and be back tomorrow. lol Chris seems to have calmed with age and she’s more open and chatty. I saw the Piers Morgen interview with them. It was wonderful. I wish Jayne could have had kids of her own as it’s obvious she was very emotional..but she became a mother to two great adopted children. ❤️
The bottom line, the Russian judges were not going to let them win, no matter what. Also, Chris Dean's first partner could not and would not tolerate the way he did things, and they fought all the time. They get along because JT is so complacent to whatever is going on, and that is the only reason why they won so many medals. Now he is with a new partner; a former British Ice Skater who they all knew from the 1984 World Championships. Him and Jill Trenary split in 2010. But J Torvail is still with her husband, going on 31 years of marriage. Ms. L. Churchill
In everything you do you must do excellence! So i understand Chris. He wasn't that rute at all as many thought of him. I've enjoyed those two on the ice❤
So sad. Torvill & Dean were robbed the second olympic gold in Lillehammer 1994! ;( I loved their free dance! Rahkamo & Kokko should have won silver in Lillehammer and the later winner (Grishuk & Platov) should have got bronce! :P
No doubt Chris is a perfectionist, and maybe snapped at Jayne sometimes. But remember this is a documentary where they’ve chosen what to portray. They obviously want to show any drama to add interest. If Chris was like this all the time and Jayne had a problem with it, I’m sure at some point in the past 40 years she would have stopped saying yes to working with him 😅
+Laura, Not many in this comment section appear to be critical thinkers. The narrative of this documentary appears to be; Chris = Harsh taskmaster and Jayne = delicate flower..... and that seems to be the thread which runs through it all. It may be the BBC's story, but i don't think it's _their_ story. They have been friends for a long time so whoever directed this documentary has left _allot_ of footage on the cutting room floor that would ultimately show a much more rounded & honest picture.
Amanda, that's how documentaries can be. Can be viewed as slanted or not. It all depends on what the director wants and what the viewer sees. He may be seen as a taskmaster on the ice, but the results are there of their success.
I thought Jane was the driving force behind them. Chris looks so soft & kind but in reality he is a lion. I felt for Jane a few times especially when she cried & he should no empathy. Mean But can't take a way they make magic together.
1:05 - I'm confused, is the guy trying to reference how Bolero has become synonymous with Torvill & Dean's performance? He's humming a bit composed by Tim Wright for the game Lemmings.
It felt like the face the music routine was their greatest hits from previous programs and as much as I love T&D it wasnt anything innovative lack their usual magic
Christopher Dean is not a 'people' person obviously. He does not give clear instructions ..Jayne moves as he says then he shouts no, this way!! She is not a mind reader. The judges did not appreciate T & D returning to competition and marked them down. T & D are still skating today in 2018 and are still the best there is.
Janet Cox I think I disagree with the their being the best there is....I absolutely believe Virtue and Moir and several other teams Bestiamania and Bukin were much better too.....they were good and the Bolero program was wonderful but they were skating at a different level. Just like back in the 80’s with the men won by landing the triple axel, they skated at a much less difficult level then the teams today. The skaters today are skating much harder jumps but artistically are not as good it’s true but overall the performance T and D skated to Bolero is at the level of today’s Novice world level skaters. They do not skate the dances as closely or intricately as the dancers today. For example the little chases they do at 41:27 are laughable .....
Why do you suppose they returned ? That was the first year that the so called ‘pros’ were allowed to return. No one but the Russian pairs team won a gold. Only on subjective judging sports were they permitted to win-because it is objectively measured. If I cross the finish line before you did i won
I love Torvill & Dean but I honestly wish the judges had marked down ALL the reinstated pros. It pissed me off Gordeeva & Grinkov won gold after reinstating, and another reinstated pair won silver. I wish they had been hammered in pairs like they were in the other events.
@@sandranorman5469 If I were a judge I would have made sure no reinstated pros won in Lillehammer. I would have tried to get on the judging panel for 3 of the 4 events (not ladies, since Witt never stood a shot regardless) to make sure they all lost. If I had been on the pairs panel Gordeeva & Grinkov would not have won, I guarantee you that. I would have poisoned the juries against all the reinstated ones and made sure none of them won any medal other than maybe a token bronze.
They have been my favorite ice dancers since "84 and "Bolero". As performers, I have such respect for the content of their programs, and the excellence in how they perform them. I don't have respect for demeaning tone with anybody. If someone wants the best out of someone, they know them well enough to know that they are doing their best, and a different type of communication might be the most efficient way to deal with one's own malignant perfectionism. Is Chris a brilliant choreographer? Absolutely. No question. But as a partner, I'd have gone my own way if he'd been that way with me. I was scouted in the US as an EARLY career partner in ice dance in the late 70s. I wanted to skate more than anything (parents put the ax to that idea). If I'd had someone tell me that I was wrong in the tone he used, I would have left the sport for that. There's no need for condescension or needling someone. I had coaches I didn't know ask me to do dance step sequences I'd never heard of (I was in singles at the time), and I'd do them. If they wanted me to do things differently, they spoke to me in a tone that was motivational, not critical. It was constructive, and they then informed me that I'd completed the sequences for the Killian... and that it was a senior dance test. I'd never done any dance tests. But the way I was corrected brought out the best in me. No tears needed because my character as a human being wasn't being questioned.
He is verbally abusive, what a jerk. I'm not sure how they actually were able to skate so beautifully. The coach just sittin there allowing it to happen
It was a scandal that the Olympic Committee used Torvill and Dean to return to amateur skating to boost ticket sales at the Winter Olympics. The Olympics have been plagued by scandal for years, from representation selection to the judges and scoring system (which was eventually changed in 2002). Torvill and Dean out performed the Russian ice dancers Grishuk/Platov and Usova/Zhulin at the Norway 1994 WInter Olympics, because of misleading information about what was required in the compulsory dances. They were set up. Jane and Christopher thrilled the audience and the Torvill & Dean legacy lives on. The rest are history and now in obscure - that says it all...
I think they achieved what they did *despite* his cavilling, rather than because of it. He wasted a lot of time arguing the toss rather than actually practising. Jayne deserves medals for putting up with him!
he may have been critical but didnt he chorepgraph their numbers himself? so of course he is going to be pushy, he is her partner but also kinda the boss being the main choreogtapher. I didnt find him all that bad. People shouldnt be so proud to be unwilling to take correction. And she said it herself she is easy going where he is the driving force behind them.
he can be pushy but he lacks finesse with his words and got a lot of conceited impatient attitude..He may be adjusting on the skill side but i don't see him adjusting on his approach with the kind of personality the girl has which is totally different from his Her partner's nature She does not thrive in that kind of approach..There are many ways to say it firmly and edgy but not being obnoxious and below the belt n respect at all no wonder He is awfully tense during the game He doesn't know how to be flexible in his attitude Her calmness should have bring him comfort and balance but she cant give as much as she wanted He doesn't adjust to to make their team create chemistry..He's way of driving is so obsolete and dragging.. sucking out her energy unable to become enthusiastic,,We can clearly see that she is always deflated by him..I wonder if a woman is driving the partnership during training with that kind of tone and choices of word. Like whipping and lashing on a man..He will definitely not make it.
Honestly, at that point of the filming, they were both flat because they'd only just got through. They probably felt sick of it all but were committed so they had to carry on. Anger from Chris and sadness from Jayne is not surprising when they'd only got through on a 'mathematical cat's whisker'.
How the Hell can a Russian Judge give them 5.2?? I thought they should have done the Worlds and just showed everyone!! Shame that they gave up the moment they got beat.
Re pulling out of the Worlds that year after the Olympics - Chris commented "What are the judges going to do? Say 'oops, we made a mistake at the Olympics, yes you should have won the gold so here's the Worlds gold?'" Basically they knew the results wouldn't change, so why bother? If you read their autobiography, they eventually found out that the judges' original plot was to place them 4th or 5th. But they couldn't do that after 1) T&D won the Original Dance (rhumba) and 2) if the judges had done that, the audience would have rioted and the judges knew it.
@Kelly Smunt big lol @ the irony of not realising that getting your knickers in a twist over a complete strangers comment on the internet automatically makes you an equally big snowflake, if not moreso than the previous commenter to which you refer ;)
@@christineentwisle7804 without a doubt, but I’ve also had some brilliant ones and people seem to be failing to understand it’s literally their job to tell you what to do and have you do it correctly 🤣
I think it's down to the circles you swim in. People often date work colleagues, met partners through friends, etc. His job is unusual so I guess he had common ground with other skaters.
That's a polite way of putting it! His relentless push for perfection reminds me of Gene Kelly. He was by all accounts really hard to work with too. Working with people like them must be incredibly difficult but that's why the end results are still remembered long after they've gone. Singing in the rain is still regarded by many, including me, as the best musical of all time, with so many memorable and iconic dance scenes.
He sounds like any other skating coach. A million years ago as an adolescent, I had skating lessons too and my coach was severe at times. However I was only a half-ass skater !
Oh my dear, he comes across the "Steve Jobs of ice dancing" - a genius but extremely difficult to work with and absolutely no respect for people who do not share his work ethic. But like Steve Jobs in his field, he left an indelible impression on his one. I shall forever treasure his beautiful work on the "Barnum" routine, which I decidedly prefer to the Bolero (which is supposed the moment they made history). I can see why Isabelle Duchesnay became involved with him, it was probably not the great romantic love story that the media made it out to be; I thought from the start she was trying to give herself credentials she felt she did not have by marrying into ice dancing "royalty" and that adding "Dean" to her name would give her a standing she did not have. She seemed to have learned very quickly that the downsides outweighed the benefits.
Thanks to Christine. Now we know why there was no romantic involvement, she was probably glad to see the back of him after each sesion. Yes he is the choreographer, but he doesn't have to be so belittling!!!! , admit he needs to be tough but personal insults, no need.I personally do not like him now. When he say's "don't act stupid" nooooo.
Jayne said in the autobiography that whole argument sequence was blown way out of proportion, that it was just one session, but was cut and edited to make it look like Chris was like that constantly. The coach did tell Chris why Jayne was so upset, and Jayne said that Chris immediately came to her and apologized. However, none of that appears in the documentary. Not dramatic enough for the BBC, I guess.
He’s a bit condescending to her I find, like he’s the boss and he’s the one making the rules and he’s reprimanding her. She just takes it. She doesn’t seem to mind it, surprisingly.
Was he already divorced from Isabelle Duchesnay when they decided to return to amatuer competition? I remember reading something he wrote about he always had to have a project to focus on and for years it was the Duchesnays. Then when the Duchaneys went pro, Chris moved on. In this documentary we see Jill Ternary coming in and supporting their Chris and Jane's partnership then being in love with Chris. I wonder if Isabelle dropped everything and flowed Chris around would she still be with Chris? Jill was never threatened by Jane.
I honestly have no idea...but from what I read she claimed he was a cheat and always put his work and thus Jayne ahead of her, but it was said she wanted Chris to stay pro, drop Jayne and skate with her. She claimed she wouldn't give up skating with her brother but some said that was a lie and she was actually after Chris to dump Jayne. I think she was just really jealous. Isabelle claimed the only time she saw Jayne smile was when she told her she was leaving Chris. Phil (Jayne's husband) said in an interview that he knew what he was getting into with them when he married Jayne...but Isabelle never understood Jayne and Chris's relationship and that is what made it so hard for her. She seemed very fiery in interviews and on the ice...so it makes sense she would be a jealous person. No Jayne and Chris weren't romantically involved but they are seriously close. I've always wondered how Phil and Jill could deal with it. Maybe I'm to jealous of a person but I couldn't be in a relationship with someone who had that close of a connection with someone else...even if its platonic.
I think they were divorced in '93, so yeah, they were no longer together at the '94 Olympics. Isabelle was extremely jealous of Chris's relationship with Jayne, and always referred to Jayne as the "other woman in my marriage". But supposedly, Isabelle's idea of a proper marriage was Chris leaving performing to travel with her and just be her personal choreographer, while she achieved stardom as a skater. That was never gonna fly with Chris, and he would never tolerate being permanently separated from Jayne.
Jayne and Chris is friends since many years, this day,he is very hard, but Jayne know him,if is a tyran, she not skating with her,and she is a"marraine"to Jack Dean, son to Chris
He is not objectively pushy you can see and feel He s immature selfish egoistic selfish A.H....That is not how you treat your partner. He is impatient because he wants to make thing manifest in a flash what's in his mind He needs to learn how to communicate it to his partners mind..They are both different..It requires a lot tha just telling what to do..His challenge is to bring your partner into one imagination and mind and it need a lot of charisma and positive reinforcement on his part and love for what he wants to show to her,,It is clear hes not liking what he is doing he is just more of self proving feeding his own ego He does not care about his partner..
Сhris is a narcissistic tyrant. I feel sorry for Jane, how did she put up with him over a long career? but their couple has an old-fashioned skating and he stupidly clings to the past, discarding new ideas. You can't win this way, you have to be innovators.
But remember the Duchesnays' risks and originality were the result of Chris's choreography for them. Just sayin'..two sides to every story, as they say.

They were both brilliant in their partnerships. Each totally respected each others part.
He can drive for excellence without treating her disrespectfully. Yet he doesn’t.
nope, he's a fucking bell-end
@Kelly Smunt there there , go take a nap and calm yourself down.
He’s rude to everyone
They were both both depressed and very stressed in this situation.
Beautiful
So sad. Torvill & Dean were robbed the second olympic gold in Lillehammer 1994! ;(
I loved their free dance! Rahkamo & Kokko should have won silver in Lillehammer and the later winner (Grishuk & Platov) should have got bronce! :P
MusikPiratCH Gordeeva And Grinkov were pairs skaters not ice dancers.....
Novascotia Skater Thanks, corrected. :D
MusikPiratCH lol all good! I make mistakes to!
Stop getting your knickers in a twist... He was probably like this when they had to rechoreograph 80% of a routine in 3 weeks!
Trilby Willy…you are so right. I always thought Jane was very dedicated and really just as strong as Chris but in a different way.
It’s not so simple as that.
@@johnsanders186 lmao oh you were there, were you? Else how would you know that?
Amanda, that's how documentaries can be. Can be viewed as slanted or not. It all depends on what the director wants and what the viewer sees. He may be seen as a taskmaster on the ice, but the results are there of their success.
I thought Jane was the driving force behind them.
Chris looks so soft & kind but in reality he is a lion.
I felt for Jane a few times especially when she cried & he should no empathy. Mean
But can't take a way they make magic together.
1:05 - I'm confused, is the guy trying to reference how Bolero has become synonymous with Torvill & Dean's performance? He's humming a bit composed by Tim Wright for the game Lemmings.
Jayne was a really cute and gracious girl
Perfect
It felt like the face the music routine was their greatest hits from previous programs and as much as I love T&D it wasnt anything innovative lack their
usual magic
I wonder how she put up with his criticism!
The price of impressing people. I feel for Jayne, too.
Wow he’s harsh no wonder Jane never had it romantic with him
I always assumed he was gay tbh
Hes a bully and very rude to Jane
MayBe his suppression of such,is why he is so angry.@@ellie698
It was just a snapshot of a terrible day they were both having. Not to judge based on it.
@@Trouble_Bubble36 😆 well said
Coach was probably scared of him too😂😂
It was a scandal that the Olympic Committee used Torvill and Dean to return to amateur skating to boost ticket sales at the Winter Olympics.
Had it not been for Jane, Christopher would have never been famous. She was the better half.
he may have been critical but didnt he chorepgraph their numbers himself? so of course he is going to be pushy, he is her partner but also kinda the boss being the main choreogtapher.
He is obnoxious, I don’t know how she stands his constant belittling. He doesn’t accept responsibility for anything, everything is her fault.
it’s called a narcissist that’s what they do
@Kelly Smunt Why are you bitching?
@Kelly Smunt big lol @ the irony of not realising that getting your knickers in a twist over a complete strangers comment on the internet automatically makes you an equally big snowflake, if not moreso than the previous commenter to which you refer ;)
What
A lot of people in these comments have never danced while being choreographed and it SHOWS. This isn’t abuse ffs it’s direction 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
you've had some really awful director/choreographers then.
@@christineentwisle7804 without a doubt, but I’ve also had some brilliant ones and people seem to be failing to understand it’s literally their job to tell you what to do and have you do it correctly 🤣
@@christineentwisle7804 remember it's the woke generation
Omg the other dancers were not even dancing together, way out of sync Torville and Dean are like one
Why was Chris only dating skaters ? 🤔 was he just doing it because Jane had found love and had a steady marriage
I think it's down to the circles you swim in. People often date work colleagues, met partners through friends, etc. His job is unusual so I guess he had common ground with other skaters.
As he said... if it is Jaynes mistake I’ll tell her. And if it’s mine.. I’ll still tell her. Ha ha ha.
Saint Jayne! .. how she put up with him I'll never know#!? WHY, I understand - HOW I can't fathom
Far a perfection skaters, it has to have one that push to score the Gold . Dean is brilliant & Jane.
Thanks to Chris and his unpleasant character, I learned some useful, indecent English words here.. ))))
Really nice to see behinds of what it takes to win gold. Christopher is a bit of a taskmaster isn't he.
@@ellie698 Fred Astaire was relentless, too, in his quest for perfection. That is what made the greats great.

Exactly! ♥️
She seemed to have learned very quickly that the downsides outweighed the benefits.
oh my gosh im cringing at how that practice went with all the gaslighting language....
Never another pair like them. Superlative control.
I’m mad at these trying circumstances that forced them to be under such a pressure cooker.
He is a bully. One can correct without being insulting about it.
God, that ended on such a downer!
Perfection
Oh God Jane can handle a lot from him! He is a bully with her
I love Torvill and Dean but cant believe how awful Chris is with Jane. I'm surprised they are still friends
Cherrching.
I can't see this. He is insane. Poor Jane
I don’t like how their agent viewed them as commodoties. I want them to be financially successful, but it was the wrong mindset.
Oh to dream I am Jane!
Jayne and Chris is friends since many years, this day,he is very hard, but Jayne know him,if is a tyran, she not skating with her,and she is a"marraine"to Jack Dean, son to Chris
Hmm something personal going on with him to take it out on her………she is very hurt by him ....

Ike Turner would be proud of Christopher..
Okay!!!!!!!
Dean is a deadly flirt
He’s a bit of a bully
He is really mean
Chris is vile to jane bless her very narsastic behaviour with him
Сhris is a narcissistic tyrant. I feel sorry for Jane, how did she put up with him over a long career? but their couple has an old-fashioned skating and he stupidly clings to the past, discarding new ideas. You can't win this way, you have to be innovators.
Whatever worked for them made them the best in the world.
The Ducheney's far outshine these two. They took risks and artistically were more original
Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir were even better
But remember the Duchesnays' risks and originality were the result of Chris's choreography for them. Just sayin'..two sides to every story, as they say.
@@cupcakefairy87they were after them a new generation. Chris and Jane were the pioneers at that time.
