Honestly Thanks Hyperion. Ive always wanted to learn electricity but I suffer from a few learning difficulties and your videos help me figure out stuff I find confusing. hopefully I can show you something I make myself one day!
Would love a video on your past education/work on electricity as I'm currently studying it myself and would love to hear about your background. So interesting to see someone making crazy complicated circuits in this game
Actually i have 0 real life education ( schooling ) about any technical aspect. Its more of a passion. Anyway basic common sense is more than enough to understand this in rust
You never fail to amaze me, i personnaly am also trying to be an electrician, as raiding makes me stressed, i hope i can be atleast 10% the electrician you are
Hyperion I got to know and ask!?!? how is it you are so full of knowledge in this subcategory of rust. This is sounding like quantum physics and I feel like I play the game at a basic math level!
Hey Hyperion, love the video but I struggle to follow the yellow wires on a white wall, it would help a ton if the wall or the wire colour was different ^^
If the clicking noise is very ear bothering to you guys you can set the timer to 5 seconds and put the counter on 3 or even 10 seconds and put the counter on 2 it will work the same as in the video here
hey man, been a big fan for a while now, i have a problem with auto sorting, i know how to make them but for bigger bases theres just way too many pipes and it takes like 3 hours to set up, it would be amazing if you could find a way to make autosorting way easier and quicker to set up (kinda how you do auto furnacing just for sorting) i would be very gratefull and i also think you could get alot of views and watch hours with a good and easy tutorial!
@@Benny1buildz 3 hours is kinda fast :D, you can always cut time by making it "ugly" ( flying pipes in the air etc,... ), you can also use simple sorting that dosnt have tiers and dosnt self sort but you are trading time to nake subpart product ( which i do not like ) . On the other hand the more you do it and learn it, the faster and more efficient you gonna be since you wont need to think about it or look at diagrams etc, that will speed it up the most.
Hey, thats kinda broad topic about seismic sensor in general. All though its on my list ( along with about 20 other circuits ) hopefully ill have more free time soon.
@@HyperionRust It's been like this for more than a year (at least it was like this when I started with the electric stuff), you can check it on a build server. I like your designs and I implement them and making some tweaks.
I'm so confused if you're running this off one large battery. How are you able to obtain 12 turrets??? I have my electrical branch's power out (leading to turrets) maxed at 92-93rW to supply each turret with 11rW. That would only be able to power 8 turrets (total at 88rW) per each module.
This system would typically be powered by a "BCN"/"Nih" core which has multiple batteries. I believe this video's uploader has a video about it as well.
Great video! Thanks for the diagram link! I've been playing Rust for many years and last serious wipe I had was 2 years ago where we wired up 150-200 turrets so when I started playing recently I knew the 12 turret limit would be a fun obstacle to deal with. I'm using the turret flip flop this wipe but I have few concerns. Do you think the system becomes weaker when you have too many cycles? Do you have your inner core turrets as one of the cycles in your overall setup? I just made a circuit where 12 leader turrets (and some HBHF sensors) will activate the appropriate group of 12 turrets in a given area for X amount of seconds and turning off the remaining leader turrets while the section is active. What concerns would you have with the system I described?
Hey and thanks Yes the more modules you add to the rotation the longer it will take to fully rotate, thats ofcourse a downside. As for the sensors i personaly try to avoid them for the main turret system. They have smaller range than the turret itself and can be abused. Its a kinda topic for long discussion tbh. All though if that fits your needs, go for it.

Low ammo is powered even when there is no ammo in the turret so there is no need for the OR switch/gate for the alarm beacon.
