@@frozen_spidernope, the manathirst on the last one changes how the battlecry itself works, so both end up being doubled. it's a really stupid card
I’ve been playing around with ogre paladin. Lots of synergy with horn of the windlord + the attack increasing ogre.
Have smacked for 12-12 with lifesteal on multiple occasions
The realization at 21:00 is hilarious.
Also I feel like chump watches a lot of MarkMkz and picks up some mannerisms like saying "... Rude" and drawing a card and saying it's name in a slow questioning tone like "puuud?"

It completely escapes my understanding as Astalor is about to rotate and they never changed its effect to:
*Battlecry:* Deal 7 damage among enemies. *Manathirst (10):* Deal 7 damage among enemies.
It keeps the normal effect inactive by removing the broken interactions.
Hopelly with the introduction of Harth Stonebrew more cards begin to be designed with the phrase (Once per game).
Astralord is best Lich card. They must unnerf him after rotation, not kill.

Hey Chump, you're my favorite hearthstone creator at the moment, and I love all the interesting decks you cover in your videos! I really only play every now and again, and I stopped playing regularly just after the Darkmoone Faire set.
I'm curious, would you ever consider covering interesting Wild combo decks? I know there's currently some incredibly powerful decks in that format, and Standard gives you a chance to learn and play around a much smaller pool of cards.

Amalgam of the Deep has *All* minion types, so that's why it shows up when you look for Ogre? Or maybe Ogre was meant to be a class like Elemental and Undead, but they decided to scrap it and left the flag on that minion by mistake? Not sure
No boulderfirst ogre? While it doesnt have any fancy effects like the new ogres, it still has pretty good stats for the cost.
Me: sees Ogre druid…instantly goes and makes deck and queues it up.
Much more enjoyable than standard ramp druid has become recently.

Did they change how Astalor interacted with double battlecries? I’m sure it only used to do 21 but now it does 28 which makes no sense
As far as I know, it's always done 28 with a double battlecry, as the Manathirst changes the number from 7 to 14 first, before the battlecry activates, which then gets doubled.
Almost certain that originally it did 24 damage with double battlecry as it initially was worded as "Battlecry: Deal 8. Manathirst: Deal 8 more." then it was changed to its current wording but still at 8-16 damage, then it was nerfed it to 7-14 damage.
Not sure if it ever did 21 damage though as the damage nerf happen after the wording was changed.
Looked it up, astalor doing 24 damage was never a thing, even when it had the shitty wording it would deal 32 damage with double battlecry.
