This was a very well done video! One of the best on how the coupe came to be and why its so unique. Ill have to check out your channel now haha. After a decade of hunting off an on and never really being able to afford it im finally picking up my first z3 coupe, 99 non-m 5spd, but its helrot and i couldn't be more excited!
Congratulations! Just from my personal experience they are pretty bulletproof. Even after 2 decades, there’s nothing really like it. Enjoy your ownership! (And thanks for the kind words ☺️)
Thanks! I’m also a member to that same group who thinks It’s beautiful. Even though it has a ‘hatchback’ shape, it really is unique and quite stunning to look at. 😍
I once had a Z3 2.8 BluePrint road legal track car, as a roadster. It was off the chart! It out performed the M3 of the day, with its only downfall being a little too much body flex. But it was epic. The last I heard of the car was it being pulled over by the cops doing 186mph!
Sounds like a very fun car to drive! I think the flex was the biggest gripe of the roadster body. The roadster doesn’t get enough credit though. They sold over 260,000 non M roadsters!
My dude! Totally need another video of just the driving and you shifting through the gears. I have an S52 M Coupe and it's a joy to drive. The way I summarize it. You have to pay attention and be fully engaged when driving the M Coupe.
M54 is a variant of the S54, both legendary engines. I’m not sure if you’re asking if they produced less? There are less S54’s. Congratulations on the fantastic car and owning a piece of automotive history! ❤️👍
solid informative well spoken review. subbed
Thank you! Once the weather is a bit nicer here, I’ll have another great driver’s car review. Until then I hope you like the content. ❤️

Awesome review. I happen to be one of the few that thinks this car is beautiful haha. I've always loved hatchbacks.
Thanks!

inline 6.....not v6
Oops. Did I say V6? Thanks for catching that! 😓
The M Coupe is special but not $80k special.
You can get the S52, in a nice ‘driver’s car’ condition for under $30k. And look like nothing else on the road. Enticing for sure.
Still available in the UK for under $30k with the S50 engine- so 320bhp. A very special car.
Yes yes it is ...until you own one or drive one you won't understand 😢
