Hi Craig! I enjoyed! Now that's a true adventure. I reckon the choice of bikes is so important. Reasons: are obvious. I really like the map and the black line showing your journey. The mix of dronage, cutting in with other shots, and commentary is great. Great work as usual.
Hey Robert, yes the choice of bike is important however things like this happens. I rode the Duke in the same if not worse terrain and I was very surprised how capable the bike was. Handled the rough stuff just fine. Anyway, thanks for the comments mate and hope youre well.
I really enjoy the 'culture' that you create on your rides. Everyone chips in and helps out, to make sure all of you get through, or at least are helped out when needed. No one is left behind. Really positive atmosphere. Good job.
Thanks for the comment Marcel. Glad you like the comradery and positive atmosphere. For me its the only way to ride. Come up against challenges and work together as a team to overcome them. Cheers again mate.
Haha... Carnage! Looks like this series will be fun! Cant say im surprised about the multi. Might be ok off-road, but dont handle a fall well. Looking forward to the rest.
Hey buddy, next ep out very soon. I was surprised how well the Multi handled the rough stuff. If there was some crash bars and some bark busters on the bike she would have been all good.
Awesome footage mate! Love your team spirit! 👍🏻 nice bike fix! You are lucky to be surrounded by great guys and beautiful nature! Looking forward to watch Part 2! Greetings from Germany ✌🏻 Matt
Hey Tiuskilin, thanks for the comments mate. I am very lucky to live here and such a awesome adventure riding country. As for the lads, they are all top blokes.
exactly the video I was looking for NICE! I just been there 4 days ago turned around at the white car.. it's still there. alone on a 790.. lot of trouble to get back up from the white car.. it ate my whole confidence :D
Great series 😊Since you rode this shallow tail pass has washed out so much that where you were standing before the crossing is all exposed rocks making it a rough entry. On the exit there is a good drop off the concrete. Must have all washed away in the heavy rains earlier this year (2021), I’ve always wondered about going up across Guineacor as was out that way fighting bushfires before the 2019 ones (fought those closer to home) I think I’ll stick to going out to Taralga then pick up range/Jerong/Lang’s. Love your map trails, to give a great overview of the trip. (I’m on a R1200GS Rallye)
Hey Serge, old Swallow tail sounds like its copped a beaten. I might have to get back down there once lockdown is done. Bet your 1200GS Rallye is eating up those trails too. Cheers mate and have a good one.

Wow! Fantastic production quality man! Great video! I feel like I’m watching the Long Way Round series all over again. Gonna be binging these few episodes man!
Awesome trail riding. When you see bikes like the Duc go down you realize its better to have more suitable Off Rd bikes(No disrespect to your friend). The 690/701 is a weapon of choice.Cheers.
Thanks Craig. As a fellow Sydney rider I found it useful to have locations and road names for reference for future rides. Would be good to get more ideas for off road rides closish to Sydney. Cheers.
@@Shadower75 like wise mate, already planning a ride around these parts on my KMT500 and my mates WR450F. Curious, did you have to get any permissions to ride any of those tracks or are they all open to the public to use?
Nice one mate. I was out over the long weekend here in SA. Great ride a little spoiled with a breakdown on the way home. However, that's what ADV is about; adventure.
@@Shadower75 ADV riders have got to keep a positive attitude! I'm picking the bike up from it's bush retreat tomorrow and am actually looking forward to working out what's gone wrong and fixing it. Well done, enjoyed your vid. I know some of those areas well, great riding great tracks.....I better not attempt the hills on my own now i can put dimension to my GPX file. Full credit to the Multi, he probably didn't read the fine print.
Certainly is a great area to ride. So many tracks everywhere. And yes, probably not the most suited bike for that type of terrain but it was a adventure after all. Cheers
Hey mate, yeah possibly not the most suited bike for the terrain however when I rode it in the rough stuff it was a very capable bike. I was pleasantly surprised.
Shadower 75 yep. I have a friend who used his Multi in a similar fashion. Just shows that the “adventure” is the important thing, not the machine you ride.
That was just unlucky for Danny. Im guessing the front washed out on the rut. Super easy to do on the big girls. I just sold mine for a 790R. Great bikes, people underestimate them but they're quite capable. Danny mate, get your self some bark busters, if nothing else they'll save your clutch and brake reservoir and the ducati crash bars are pretty decent I found in testing
You are spot on Epectitus, just a simple front wheel wash out and down she went. A set of crash bars and some bark busters and we would have picked her up and kept going. The bike was quiet capable in that terrain which was a surprise.
