The Lexus LFA sounds like a buzzsaw at all RPMs. I remember when that car came out and they did a commercial where they showed how the finely tuned exhaust could shatter a wine glass. While probably a stretch the car still screams like a banshee at speed and gets my vote for great sound.
@@GarageHaruo I'm talking about the actual sound and resonance of the exhaust tone breaking the glass not a backfire of burnt fuel or physical thrust of exhaust gases. Even under those circumstances it'd take a pretty wild tune or a supercar to duplicate those results. The LFA exhaust has such a perfect pitch it can actually shatter the glass with it's sound not it's force.
Honestly Horizon 3 is up there as my favorite horizon game, i remember the day i brought a Xbox One S and it came with this game, I remember playing and just saying how incredible it looked, Horizon 3 still has the best Skybox with incredible details, the Setting Australia was fantastic and including its Soundtrack, Still has great Car Sounds (Far better than Horizon 4)The DLC Blizzard Mountain is by far the best DLC in Horizon game Ever or maybe in a Racing Game and then replaying the game all over again on the Xbox One X Enhanced Version in 4K, Horizon 5 has Horizon 3 beat in Content and Car Sounds But Horizon 3 will always hold special place in my heart, 2017 was awesome playing Horizon 3....
Exactly the same. The soundtrack, atmosphere, setting, etc. The memory of horizon that stuck in me was simply spending hours shaving split seconds off a personal time on a '57sec track. The appeal of horizon should be it's soundtrack, it's a festival game. FH3 had a good location, good sounds and an awesome soundtrack which meant you could just cruise around until you were done. FH4 had a terrible soundtrack yet it looked beautiful and had good content. It may be down to license but if horizon could somehow add all the previous soundtracks like GTA, people will play for a lot longer. FH3 was the horizon that entered a lot of hearts
I agree with you. FH3 also my fav Horizon game. The game has a racing car package from Motorsport series(BMW Z4 GTE, Huracan Squadra Corse Super Trofeo 🔥❤....) that is missing in FH 4 and 5
The better and louder spool sound from horizon company is the Horizon 3. In FH4 and FH5 the cars sounds like N/A but with blow off, terrorific bad 🤭🤮 And the turbo spool is part from the experience of a turbo car sound. I dont wanna have an ugly blow off if a havent got a turbo spool.
Knowing how negative this channel's been towards FH4's sounds, I was honestly surprised that it got the about same amount of screentime as the other games here
3 years after launch a lot of new cars & sounds surfaced in Britain…😆 plus the list for the good sounding cars in FH4 was easy to create after I’ve created a vid called “Acceptable FH4 Car Sounds you can listen to until FH5 launches” 😂 I had way more issues keeping the list size the same for all the other titles 😜
Horizon 2 was my first game on One S, with Fast and Furious DLC its just will forever stay as the best vibe Horizon for me, It still looks and sounds on par with newer Horizon games.

The audio is pretty muffled and most cars dont at all sound like the real deal because they couldn't source every single car, a lot were made using a computer

How is it slept on? Ask anyone what's the best Horizon and FH3 is almost always the answer you'll get. Horizon 2 is the one whose existence everyone's forgotten it seems.
From Horizon 2,3,4 and 5, the 2 cars that were always my favorite from each game is the RS200 and the F40. Something about those 2 cars I always kept going back to no matter which game it was.
Even tho fh5 is a very good game. FH1 will always have a place in my heart. Nothing compares to drifting down red rock. It’s so amazing seeing how far these games have came. I’d love to see them bring the old Colorado map as a dlc. It was the first game I stayed up all night to play. I was hoping to see the rx-8 in horizon 2, even tough the rx-7 (in my opinion) is not that good as the first horizon, i think the rx-8 makes it. But, hey. FH2 is beautiful, astonishing.. I would love to play that game, but the sounds are meh, they are a little improvement over FH1 (except that Carrera GT, we need more justice for that boy in FH5)

Horizon 3 location was good but the map was eh. The roads were far too wide and monotonous. There is only like 3 curvy roads on that entire game. It also lacks elevation change.
When upgrading your cars, all of the following upgrades can have an effect on engine note, with the Street, Sport and Race packages sounding different, I'd bet there's some unheard combinations in the game somewhere; Air Intake (Street - Race) Exhaust (Street - Race) Camshafts (Street - Race) Turbo/Supercharger Engine conversion (duh) Aspiration conversion
FH2’s was insanely good! I had it on the list but the list received a few changes after testing other cars I never really paid attention to before! And also a good variety between cylinder count is important 😂

I miss the older cars from the first horizon game. I want the gumpert back. I want the TZ3 back. Even the joss JT1. The JP1 was better… but the JT1. One of the best British cars and basically an early version of mclaren.

You should try editing the XML file for the Murceliago SV, set the RPM scalar to around 1.15 - 1.3, depending on how high revving you want it to sound, then it sounds like a true straight piped high revving engine. Edit: For forza horizon 5, fh4 doesn't have much and a lot of playing with the files around can give you quite nice sounds. If you wanna know on how to, I'll reply.

@@r0yk0v45 You can also change exhaust sound, intake sounds, engine sounds, internal sounds, the type of turbo spool-off or the backfire car sound and frequency of how often it occurs from other cars as well. if you know a bit of coding, I can tell you how to do that, and the different options do.

my favourite setup for the 350R is supercharged with all engine upgraded to max but leave exhaust stock. Sounds very raspy and mean at low RPMs

I miss the older cars from the first horizon game. I want the gumpert back. I want the TZ3 back. Even the joss JT1. The JP1 was better… but the JT1. One of the best British cars and basically an early version of mclaren.

Fun fact the Ferrari F355 had a permanent call back on the vehicle for simultaneous combustion due to engine failure and they would literally randomly explode and burst into flames 🤣🤣 gorgeous cars buck hell

You should try editing the XML file for the Murceliago SV, set the RPM scalar to around 1.15 - 1.3, depending on how high revving you want it to sound, then it sounds like a true straight piped high revving engine.
Edit: For forza horizon 5, fh4 doesn't have much and a lot of playing with the files around can give you quite nice sounds.

@@r0yk0v45 I no more have fh5, but it should be similar to fh4, so firstly, is it a steam or ms store version, the ms store one doesn't allow changes so it won't work.

@@r0yk0v45 You can also change exhaust sound, intake sounds, engine sounds, internal sounds, the type of turbo spool-off or the backfire car sound and frequency of how often it occurs from other cars as well. if you know a bit of coding, I can tell you how to do that, and the different options do.
