f I'm not wrong, Mario Kart Wii was the one that sold the most before 8 deluxe so it is understandable that Nintendo has included almost all of its tracks, leaving out (with the exception of Toad's factory perhaps) the most irrelevant ones, they are aware that that game in their day sold a lot and people appreciate it a lot in general. It is also likely that compared to other games its tracks are easier to adapt to 8
If we actually got all 16 of the Wii tracks in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, that would’ve been so cool! But Dry Dry Ruins was the only other track that was remade in Tour that didn’t make it in.

Well, to be fair the only circuit remixes that were in 8 for the Wii U were N64 Royal Raceway and GBA Mario Circuit with GCN Yoshi Cicuit as DLC, which became base game for 8 Deluxe, but I see what you're saying. Technically, for 8 Deluxe it would be SNES Mario Circuit GCN Yoshi Circuit DS Mario Circuit and 7/3DS Toad Circuit
11 wii nitros, 4 wii retros, the return of halfpipes, and popular wii favorites returning. Thats 1 or 2 wii tracks per wave. Wii fans are gonna die of overeating, holy moly

Only one that would be a debate on that is daisy circuit, they went with a complete different vibe, while everything else stays true to the original while also enhancing it
