mario odyssey felt like it kept the spirit of the galaxy games, and I personally consider it the 3rd galaxy game. Although I would love to see a 3rd official Galaxy game

This game opened my eyes as a kid, gave me a deep appreciation for music. Along with it being the first Mario game with a full orchestra, its the first Mario game I played and beat. Amazing game

I remember playing the super maro galaxy series with my younger brother back in 2012-2015. One of my old friends got me both games for my birthday, and I can't thank him enough for that. Even though my memory has been fading, I know that this game has a place in my heart and I'll miss the times where I could play this game without a care in the world.

Mahito Yokota and Koji Kondo are imo the best team when it comes to making Mario music. Hearing Good Egg Galaxy for hours is a sign that they are perfect for a wonderous soundtrack. Not to mention the Observatory music. I can say a lot more, but I'll just leave it at that!

My family got Mario Galaxy the day I was born, not for me but for my brother. Once I grew up a little bit and started playing it, I fell in love with the game. Now I'm 15 and my brother is 20, I felt nothing but joy when I listened to the soundtrack. I'll never stop loving the absolute masterpiece of a game that Mario Galaxy is, one of my favorite games ever and my favorite game soundtrack of all time. The nostalgia almost makes me cry not even gonna lie.
@@skip2682 as a kid, I understood that the gateway was something more than just a starter planet. that's why it always make me very sad and is the most nostalgic and one of my favorite music pieces in the game. the saddest part about the storybook for me was how the lumas kept on coming and going. that was devastating for me to learn. they just transform. also they never found the original luma's mom.
An orchestral Mario score with a science fiction sound! Definitely one of the best games and soundtracks in the series! Sounds a little bit like John Williams or Jerry Goldsmith in terms of the orchestral sound!

1:30:59 you wake up and find yourself in the one empty pod that was meant for you and you have to escape
1:32:52 you look at your friend in the pod beside you, you also see Mr Beast still knocked out on the floor. You asses your surroundings to find a way out.
1:34:23 you punch the pod a few times but you cant think of anything to use to get out..
1:35:01 You find a penny in your pocket, the one piece of change that didnt get taken away and you throw it at the pod and crack it open
1:35:53 The liquid pours all over the room and you break your friend's pod to get him out, but mr beast wakes up. Everything is on fire from the liquid and before you get hit into the fire you grab Mr Beast to throw him into the fire. "So long, Gay Mr Beast!" You shout with pure power and with that, the whole basement explodes but you carry your friend out of the house before its too late.
1:38:05 You realize the explosions wont stop and that gives you a bad feeling.
1:38:41 After one final explosion, you look back but you see a huge mesh of everyone in the world meshed together. With MR Beast's head in the middle.

My family got Mario Galaxy the day I was born, not for me but for my brother. Once I grew up a little bit and started playing it, I fell in love with the game. Now I'm 15 and my brother is 20, I felt nothing but joy when I listened to the soundtrack. I'll never stop loving the absolute masterpiece of a game that Mario Galaxy is, one of my favorite games ever and my favorite game soundtrack of all time. The nostalgia almost makes me cry not even gonna lie.

nah the story book hit me pretty hard as a kid. i don't even remember what happened, i just remember being sad abt it.
@@skip2682 all I understood was that her mother was dead and Rosalina was alone in space, which is pretty scary when you're a child
@@skip2682 as a kid, I understood that the gateway was something more than just a starter planet. that's why it always make me very sad and is the most nostalgic and one of my favorite music pieces in the game.
the saddest part about the storybook for me was how the lumas kept on coming and going. that was devastating for me to learn. they just transform.
also they never found the original luma's mom.
This is one of the best Mario games ever in my opinion, and it has the best music!

An orchestral Mario score with a science fiction sound! Definitely one of the best games and soundtracks in the series! Sounds a little bit like John Williams or Jerry Goldsmith in terms of the orchestral sound!

it is magical
man i cry everytime i listen to this. my mind just remembers so many childhood memories and so many different happy memories throughout any time in my life. especially space junk music. the nostalgia hits extra deep.
