It’s a great time to buy a truck. The Denver area has over a 100 work truck models and hundreds more of Trail Boss, LT, ZR1 and ZR2 on dealer lots. I’ve been watching prices go down on mid size trucks all year. Dealer incentives going up and a few have eliminated the Dealer Handling fee altogether. At the end of May and into June should be the time dealers will want to move inventory before the summer pre election riots plague our blue cities once again.
I remember I purchased a 2020 Toyota Tacoma SR trim 4wd, 4 door. priced at 30 k new from the dealership in the 2020. Now you can’t buy Toyota trucks for 30k. So I went Chevy.
I drove this truck today. Very smooth but the lane keeping assist was a little weird like the wind blowing you around on the road. The 2 things that I didn’t like was firstly, no arm rest. I couldn’t find a good answer to that on amazon. Secondly was no cruise control. Lots of options available to fix that. The price on the sticker was 31430$. The dealer offered $5000 off the sticker and I think my Costco discount is $1000. So that is $25430 plus taxes. GM has 1.9% for 36 months. For another appx $4000 you can get a 4WD with a towing package, convenience package gives you cruise, rear window sliding manual, rear window defrost and the higher output engine with 100,000 mile warranty instead of 60,000 for the lower output 2.7. Comes down to your pocket. I’d like but what I can afford.

My local Chevy dealer is in South Dakota. They offered 5 k off every trim level.
