- It's that time of year again where we are seeding sloughs, and I have been looking forward to trying out this new Fendt 930 Gen 7 on this 40ft Bourgault 5710.

Great light package on the Fendt!
Baby drill. Here in Scotland that would be a gigantic drill
Yeah same here in the UK.
Wow impressive, love from the uk, 😂 thats what u guys call a small drill are farm drill is the same width as a 6r 155
Yeah, makes you wanna move over to the US or Canada to try their way of big time farming
Always nice Fendt👌💪
i had an old ihc hoe, drill didnt weigh any thing and a old, case tractor just duals no weight and it,would dam near float could go through most wet spots
Good to see the bird droppings gone from the Fendt.
Our 930 Gen 6 is super quiet, best tractors in the world.
The lights on fend's its phenomenal 😍😍
Woow that light's on 930 😍
That fendt is lovely. It's my ideal car ❤❤
Thanks for the videos. I farm in iowa. Corn and soybeans. Its great to see what goes on northwest if here. 🙋♂️ Also a fendt/caseIH guy here.
I bet if ya added duals to that 930 it would pull that drill like a dream
Yeah, it would really help, but for $30k I would definitely try without as well for the minimal amount Mike hopes to use it.
Man! does that tractor have good lights
I hear the seed but pulled a air drill for a few yrs looks like your doing g a good job but will know in a 10 days .😂😂
can not treat flea beetle in the UK?
only able to shout at the insects now!!
When do we get to see the video of you fist fighting the John Deere dealer like i suggested lmao
omg...It's a little baby cart! Don't forget baby drill!
Been wondering about the hoe drill. Good investment. Great Fendt!
Have u been catching any June rains? Taps shut off south of weyburn here
If you got the rain we got in se. Sk those re seeded spots would be under water. Usually what happens when you go back to re seed here.
Man that 930 is quit and has fantastic lighting ✨️...
That tractor and planter seem a good match. Your stmt..."The first year it paid for the little drill"... is convincing, ha.
Yes, that was 2022, paid for it that year alone.. Every year since then it's profit 🙂
How is that new joystick compared to the old one in the Fendt?🤷♂️
Just out of curiosity, how do you know what fertilizer yo use? Is it soil sample to see what's missing or is it like, a litte bit of that and a bit of that and a tiny bit of that, yeah that'll probably do it "fingers crossed"?
Never seen a rubber tire packer 5710 before. Mint. Does that broadcast the N on then?
Yes, sir 👌
Tho I might sell it for a paralink, we ll see
I was going to say the same thing...those look like tires
@@mikemitchell2554 good comment about some seed is going to deep some is hardly going in pretty much seeding with an old cultivator =5710 lol
That's not just farming. That's life!
haven't been able to watch you Mike
because of the rain or not! issue?
everything crossed for you mate.
There has been years where the late sloughs made the crop!
Great video Mike
Sweet little seeder. I’d like to try a disc drill version versus the 1990ccs I currently own for soybeans and cover crops.
Thats the quietest tractor I've heard
Why not plow in some 6 inch tiles for the slews it will dry they right up Advice from. Ontario.
no where to go with the water, ditches arnt deep enough
Morning
Mike magnifique vidéo et fent 930 et le semoirs et bien pour les manques et bien intéressante et bien équipés 😂😮😅😊
fendt with john deere guidance, like mercedes with bmw wheels
In our area we have farmers getting rid of Fendt and going back to JD for all of the electronics.
@@delbutler885 unfortunately now all tractors have electronics
@@starfarmer716For the bigger operations John Deere Opps center is a major selling point.
All the potholes that were seeded here in spring are starting to get drowned out.
I always grew my clearfield with lumiderm
Crazy to see that last week in germany harvest started on Barley and still getting seeding videos from you. Even with the video delay.
Yes that is great sun's again 👍
And yes a great sunset again, I'm loving it.👍
Sometimes I think you complain to much….. but I had a brainfart this evening, drinking beer watching Mike. But Thank god people complain! Otherwise all these farmers still used small open cab tractors…. Complaining causes progression! Cheers
I can read your beers
Wow - It´s not fast, but it seems to get the job done!
13:10 - I´ve got a better answer for you! Control the weed! If you don´t plant an area with crops, gurss what - the weed will grow there. They´ll build up a reservoir of seeds, and some weed even rely on their root systems to grow. Then they´ll spread with your contact with that area the next year. And it will grow from there. So, seeding all of your fields is pretty important, not just for yield that year, but for the future use of that area.
Mike! Question for you why shank vs disc opener for seed?
Generally hoe drills are used more in no till because they penetrate the ground better and way less maintenance.
@@delbutler885in Australia we are the opposite disc seeder for no till farming and if it’s a Tyne minimal till both direct seeding just a small amount of disturbance from the Tyne but no tillage for either
Hello Mike good 👍🤣🇮🇹
Regards to canola Mike, have the neo nicotine seed dressings been banned in Canada as well? They have in the UK and a lot of farmers have pretty much stopped growing the crop.
Farm around & find out. Man you guys never seem to sleep. Can't make monet if you don't plant.
You should take a look at the new John Deere 9RX 830 tractor, she is big!
Mike,
Is this the drill your dad & mom bought ? If not, are you still using it ?
👍
So mike why dont u pull the baby drill with 1056
what you need to do is triple one,of the 4 wheel drives no weight added nothing but stock tractor use it to pull small drill and the roller light gets you over the top instead of sinking in
Really cool rig Mike . Nice outfit that drill and the 930
Last drill I ran was 2012 with a tuned 8520. There was no hearing yourself think let alone seed and fert lines. 🤣 been planters ever since. I’d move across country tomorrow to work on an operation like yours.
Planters are the loud ones now. Just quiet seed flow while planters havea high pitched whine that you hear from a mile out. That and planters are only better for corn. Everything else a seeder out does them
@@Tdogob you aren’t telling me nothing. I’ve run nothing but db’s and nt’s since then.
@@robtaylor6806 well what do you plant. If anything more than soybeans and corn I strongly suggest demo seeding a field with an air drill at some point. Planters just can't compete with the seed output per acre for those high speed rate crops
How do you get Green star on all these other brands, is there an adaptor or something?
Finally, some more Fendt content. Always red is boring!
Very impressive tractor
👋😊
Hey mike, i am not religious man by all means no no ... BUT i hope pray you guy's have a awesome yield this year 🙏👍🏴
When did you get the 930?
LAST FALL! Like he said at the start.
@@fisherh9111 OOh shoot I didn't hear that sorry haha
try Valtra s394 insteadt of fendt..you might be suprised
An older Valtra with 109 more hP than the Fendt 930. What exactly would the surprise consist of?
