I saw the view numbers on the RUclips live feed during Cleetus's first run and the views on His own channel. It surpassed the SST channel's numbers by a factor of 10 or 20 times. Robby inviting RUclipsrs to fill out the field is pretty ingenious. People that knew nothing or little of the SSTs are suddenly all in. Looking forward to both Daves participating in the future.
cleetus truly is doing the lord's work by giving motorsport some fresh life. let's just hope Greta and the epa nazis dont ruin it by forcing us all to drive teslas
@@dookiebooger9967 If they can ever get the range problem worked out.... electric cars can be frickin' brutally fast. I still prefer the roar of ye olde dino squeezins, but a "Bristol 100" full of stripped Teslas might be too fast to run safely.

Robby Gordon did a smart thing bringing some youtubers into this, I've always loved SST but they do need some new places to take those trucks.

Agree on both these comments. I only was vaguely aware or the sport until recently. And a Bristol dirt/asphalt infield, then asphalt cleetus race every year would be cool.

My older brother is an executive with General Motors and has met all the drivers Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jimmie Johnson, all of the big guys but said that Robbie Gordon was one of the nicest most approachable guys in NASCAR. he said that Robbie Gordon was the most down to earth guys and felt like he had known him forever.

It is kinda neat to see a car I drive every day racing on a track.
IROC racing was some of the best racing I had ever watched. SST's and Tony Stewarts SRX series are the best drivers series out there.
cleetus didnt make that racing league with the short course cars. he allowed them to use the freedom factories track. he didnt create that.
Been a huge fan of SST for years now. Thank you for bringing to more people's attention. The trucks sound so amazing and look like a blast to drive. Real racing. The sky is the limit with this sport with track layouts and other variables. The trucks are the real stars. Just amazing pieces of machinery.
This is taking Baja 1000 and NASCAR and putting the science of it AND the fans of both together . Can't loose .

These guy's are great no doubt. But several have serious court cases. One famous tuber just got 18 months and 20 + thousand dollar fine. Dishonest people are being made into heroes. Just like the ancient one's said humans would.
Down fall is,, if you don't have money or resources. Being an innovator. Doesn't mean sheet.
If your not famous. And for the record. If someone stuck their nose into others business. You'd find over half. Have never done anything free. Despite what they say on their videos.

I know Robby Gordon is a big name, almost legendary in the racing industry, but him talking about his history really puts it all into perspective. He is most definitely a living legend.

Absolutely awesome ! I'm 67 years old I remember Robby Gordon when he was running dirt bikes AMA which I did myself also I remember Robbie Gordon running Indy 500 went to watch him several times and watched him run NASCAR. Robbie Gordon is a great guy a awesome to talk to.
SST is the best new motorsport in years! I saw some races from Australia and it's frikkin mind blowing.

Well one thing is for sure Cleetus puts America first in all his amazing shows and people love it.
I prefer the RUclips racing that Cleetus McFarland organizes over any professional series. It’s so damn fun to watch. And I actually care about the drivers I root for.
Why wouldn’t you guys be able to replace nascar drivers. You constantly tell your fans that with hard work and dedication you can do whatever you want and your proof right. It takes ambition a little bit of start up money and or knowing the right people to help you get started. You have done amazing you have a beautiful life
May be not replace but can honestly compete. Your giving the driver a choice to almost be his on boss. You lease the truck and get your own sponsors. Keep these guys and the the company in your prayers. AMEN
Because HeavyD is independently well off/wealthy and can afford all sorts of toys and tools ( AFAIK all through hard work and getting shit done, not trying to throw shade ) . The average person watching this doesn't have anywhere near that kind of cash or backing. And Nascar has billions behind it with super wealthy companies more or less running things. No amount of hard work is gonna overcome that
@@MrGoesBoom Sure it can. NASCAR has a fan base that's drying up faster and faster. Not because they're tired of motorsports, because they're tired of WOKECAR. They can't even fill up 1/2 the stands at any given tracks, tracks they used to sell out consistently 20 years ago.
would be cool if say Cleet and Dave or maybe Cleet and someone else went in on a Nascar team for shits and giggles. i love Cleeter and Dave but either of them just hopping in a Nascar would be downright sketchy if not straight up a danger/liability to the experienced drivers on the track.... kind of like if they just tried hopping in an F1 car, it wouldnt even be cool just straight dangerous
Robby Gordon is THE racing legend in my opinion because of all his Baja 1000 racing. The 1000 has to be the the craziest and hardest racing. There is a good movie on the Baja called Dust to glory the documents all the different classes.
My neighbor's Jon and Eric Nelson from Mickey Thompsom fame built and ran "Spec Truck Series" in Calif. back in the 90's. Similar deal. Really cool way to go race.
I will say it of all the videos posted yours gives more a prospective on how it really is in those races. Props to your camera guys

@HeavyD, Dave I saw Matt's video first that was posted and I yelled, "there's HeavyD." I was so excited to see you there. My Dad was a huge Nascar fan and on Sunday's you had no choice, you either had to watch on the TV or listen on the radio! I know you would have a great time doing this on a regular basis! Be careful in your endeavors and God bless you!! This was grand!!!
What a relief the first time i seen SuperTruck racing back in the early years I was mind blown. Stadium Supertuck racing is where its at!!

What an awesome idea for good close racing. Really loved the dive into how the series is ran, the opposite aero does seem to tighten the racing up on fast tracks.
I want to thank Dave, Cleetus, and especially Robbie for reinventing racing. I've purchased every PPV Cleetus has offered and have not been disappointed. I hope the RUclipsrs can fit SST racing into their busy schedules, and I hope SST makes it to the northeast. (Live in New Hampshire)
You can race everything!! Here down under we’re racing utilities like Rangers, Colorados, Mitsubishi an Isuzu.
Be mindful tho these are the 4.2 litre 4Cyl turbos

I drive by the Speed Energy shop every day on the way to work. It's so exciting to see motorsport with new passion and hype. NC is where Nascar started and next year the all star race returns to North Wilkesboro Speedway where NASCAR started.

I seriously enjoy all your videos, but this by far was the coolest one for me! Been a NASCAR fan for 25 years. Used to party in the infield at California Speedway with mutual friends of Robbie Gordon. He'd come by every year. What a guy! I still have my spot in California but now live in Arkansas. I WILL be going to one of these races for sure!! What a blast!

Bucket List lives? You really think so? I'm willing to bet that for every hour we see here on youtube, there's 5 hours or more of hard work. Heavy D doesnt live a bucket list life, he puts in the effort to be able to do what he wants to, when he wants to. Everything we see here on youtube from Heavy D is a result of hard work, determination, and the desire to be the best possible version of himself.
@@PepperLewisAndCo really i that it was magic not hard work. Everyone has struggles in life and I know He does as well. I was talking about the adventures we see in some of his content. Its some of the adventures that he and his crew have that someone like me only dream of. I dont know if you know this but we are in a recession. Right adventure is not in the cards for some of us AMERICANS, but watching someone do the things he does is cool enough for me. Stay blessed.
@@franknino8499 Yes I understand that were in a recession. I also understand what hard work determination, and effort can do. Hell, I grew up poorer than poor in one of the poorest states. My school clothes came from the pile of clothes the local charities and thrift stores didn't want. My lunch at school was usually crackers and water. I pushed myself day after day, focused on being more than where I came from, and now, 30 years from when I first realized I didn't want to live the same life my dad and grandparents lived, I don't. I own everything I have. My properties, vehicles, and more are all paid for, and I paid for it all thru my hard work, effort and determination. But, please tell me again how we're in a recession and doing things like this aren't possible for a lot of people, cuz if I can do it, ANYONE CAN.
I love that its a driver series... Robbie scored on this plan for sure. I have no doubt with his recent collaborations with all these guys and guys like Cleetus will certainly bring this SST racing to its highest levels

The first time I saw Stadium Super Trucks, it looked insane and I was 100% hooked, great job Robbie Gordon putting this together, most fun and amazing road race I have seen in a while!!
Nascar had become a soap opera at least you guys are real. Real dudes and chicks broken parts real stories and problems. And we don't have some bs network shoving what they want down our throats. Robby Gordon is the only race car driver to be blatantly robbed of race wins on television by IndyCar, NASCAR and the Paris/Dakar, and all by the race officials.
i am very glad to see him be so successful with his own venture into building a racing series.

Welcome to my city and state, Bristol, TN. I'm about 5 minutes away from the speedway... I can hear them start their engines where I live it's awesome. We used to go to the races till it got so unaffordable

I remember years ago during Toronto's CNE, there was scheduled drag boat races on the waterfront. of course, I was pumped, ready to see roaring, blown injected hemi's and big block chevies square off against each other.
Of course the event was cancelled, and replaced with city councillors in "bath tub races"...in other words, local politicians competing with 4 hp motors and little "bathtub dingies".
A good time was had by all, except me. I didn't go. I was pissed.
They already did at our shop. NASCAR isn't stock car racing. That's why Cleetus and his Crown Vics are so much more fun to watch.

In another video I seen some guy yelling and screaming at you after the race, thought you got a beating. Glad to see your ok bud.

Robbie Gordon should go down in history as one of the greatest pioneers in Motorsports! Total class act and racing is first on his list! He's one of the few guys that understand if you focus on racing....the money will come....not the opposite!

I really love watching these guys living the dream! It really brightens my day because my day consists of wanting to commit suicide to stop the depression. Don’t worry I never will, and the reason is because it would set a bad example to my niece, and nephews.
Anything beats NASCAR. That hasn’t been real racing since the 60’s before they started banning engines the other manufacturers couldn’t compete with. Now with teams allowing one driver to hold back so another driver will win, they have forfeited the right to be a “racing “ organization. Lawnmower races are more competitive than NASCAR.

Super cool. I got spend a few hours with Robby's Dad at King of the Hammers. I never was a Robby Gordon fan in NASCAR, but I became a fan chatting with his Dad. The passion he had talking about his son was unequaled.
Heavy D needs a lot of practice he's just an amateur racer. He doesn't have the skill to keep it together he's too sloppy of a driver. It would be nice to see you place in the top three in something instead of fouling out because of the aggressive driving. Try more defense instead of offense and then when you get the good driving down and keep your car together then add speed to it

2006 I sat down with robbie at Vegas to reno race late night and had a drink. It was like running into a neighbor and having a beer. I was nobody and he didn't treat me such way! Been a fan since!
