- This is now my 3rd bus review, reviewed by no one else. Recommending, my 2019-20 XD60 review for my 17th birthday was made.

These are the 2018-19 LFS' and as 40fts, the first series to receive Cuomo Livery body. These are currently available in service out of MaBSTOA and NYCT in Queens. I had yet to ride these, but actually filmed one of these in Harlem, Manhattan out of KingsBridge Depot and on the M100. Overall, these LFS'(same with their 60fters)
are known as the first LFS' with most seductive and imagination change of the LFS series. One thing I like for these buses, is their newer configured operator window.

This is Luis, who is being dedicated for this review. Him and I are best buddies since we first saw each other at the 2019 MTA Bus festival in Brooklyn Bridge Park. Thus, I knew him on YT since Christmas Eve 2018 when he appeared on my first RTS review of the 1999 RTS-06 Review. Also, credits on his videos and a pic used in my review.

Thanks For The Shoutout Cedric, It’s Really Means A Lot, I Love The Review Man, Thanks For Using My Picture & My Videos, I Still See & Rode Those On The S40, S44 & Some Of Staten Island Routes. 8587 Is My First 2019 LFS I Rode On, That Bus Can Go But Few Of Castleton & Yukon’s 2019 LFS I Rode On, Those Buses Can Go Fast Based On My Experiences With These Buses, Those Buses Are My Favorite LFS’s Of All Time. So I Really Appreciated Once Again That You Shout Me Out.
8:48 These screens are featured on the new XD40s, 2012-13, 2015-17 XD60s, LFS HEVs, XDE40s, XE40s, C40LFs, LFSAs, and XN60s.
The same day, 12/18 when I got off the Metro-North with my grandmother at Botanical Garden to see the train show, I saw one of these on the Bx26 to Co-Op City. I couldn’t identify the unit, because I caught it behind the fence from a far. I could tell it was one of these, because the roof wasn’t extra high, like the next set of LFSs, the LFS HEVs from 2020-21.
Thank you for this review! I have seen these out of Gun Hill Depot on the Bx26.

I like these better than the Xcelsiors, because of the rear doors. However, Eastchester and LaGuardia Depots have XD40s with rear doors like this, and Baisley Park, Far Rockaway, JFK and LaGuardia Depots have LFSs with rear doors like this.
I wouldn’t have been surprised if these were sent to Manhattanville as a loan from Kingsbridge, because they had Daimler-Chrysler Orion VII 1G HEVs. Now, the 21 XD40s from MJQ probably supplement that.
8709 was involved in a tropical storm in 2021.

Nice review, btw 8511 was delivered in 3/22/2019 and it ran on the Q43 that day!
I believe it was OK that Charleston didn’t receive these, because Charleston is the furthest South in Staten Island, and only needed to receive one fleet of LFSs.
A few months ago, I tho that these buses should not have stayed at Yukon. However, I prefer them at Yukon over Manhattanville, and Manhattanville should have the 2021 LFS HEVs and eventually the 2025 LFSe+s.
They are second pair of Novabus LFS' to use Hanover Displays.

Nice! I only rode these buses twice, ironically on the S89 on the same day. And, you're right about Castleton being the King of Staten Island!
I dislike the single bar window, and the push in rear doors.
I have never been on one of these before. However, my goal is to ride one on the Q46.
I mostly see these out of Castleton and Yukon Depots, mainly because of me by the 86 St (R) station

The last time I watched this video was in Early Spring of 2021.

You need to remake this review to because 8709 got into a crash
Awesome Review. I remember being on those units on the S61 in Staten Island with my mother when i was trying to find Orion 3Gs there last year in the summer.

Oh, you heard that carefully. She was recovered from chemo back in late August of 2019. Moreover, she ran into getting pneumonia in October until she went to heaven on October 23rd.

They should hav these at Manhattanville Depot, in order to supliment the spot of the retired Orion VII 1G Hybrid.
MV doesn't want diesels anymore.
I have never seen these on the Q83.

Aren’t these the primary buses of Gun Hill and Kingsbridge?
I wanted to see these in Manhattan, but New Jersey didn’t like their RTSs.
Why did Gun Hill and Kingsbridge receive so many of these, when they weren’t replacing any buses besides a few NGs.
They have to get some of their other used buses to other depots that needs a boost to help retire OGs. Or, to help retire the RTS by May 1st, 2019
Or even the S89.
Out of every LFS, these are my favorites next to the 2011 LFS (8000-8014 at least). This bus has quality that surpasses almost all of its predecessors. Being that I live along a QV route, LFSes are common in my neighborhood and we get every type too from 2011s to the incoming Coneheads. Speaking of Coneheads, I didn’t like them at first but after a couple rides on them (8837 and 8840 on the Q88), they’re looking to be just as promising and hold just as much strength as the 2019 LFS. Can’t wait to see what the future holds with these buses.
LOL you forgot my clips! It’s ok maybe next time! On 4/7/2019 the first time I caught unit 8540 on the Q1 being the first ever Cuomo livery non artic LFS I’ve ever caught! 8540 is my favorite unit along with 8533, 8512 & 8504. On my birthday I rode these new LFSs for the first time, I rode bus 8513 on the Q46 to LIJ Hospital(I was born there) So far I caught many of these units and yes I have a video of one of these units in the Bronx, that bus was 8622(find it in my most recent video of me going to Eastchester depot) and for Staten island, I did see em in person in Staten Island, but the pics I took of em were complete garbage! I hope to go back to Hillside Avenue(Bellerose Manor & Floral Park Side)(East Part) so I can film them again! I’ve been filming on that spot for almost 5 years!
I used your clips on the 2019 XD60 review. And you have the over limit subs milestone, which is how your clips cannot be mandatory for me.

King Auto & Xcelsior Dispatcher Nova buses are one of my all-time favorite bus in the history of all time. My first bus was the LFS from Staten Island. It was not 2019 but he was just like this Q85. They can’t be replaced except for the Orion sevens. MTA will unleash the hybrid Electronic vehicle’s, ONCE The delivery will be here.

King Auto & Xcelsior Dispatcher do not forget, they used to run on the BX15, but there still present at Castleton Avenue at a depot called Castleton Bus Depot. Hopefully you’ll see New York.
It's nice how STM Bus Fleet is just NovaBus LFS/A vehicles. With different doors and window designs.
It is a safe community for those buses. Plus, they now have what I expected, and Xcelsior pilot

Yes 8708 Signed Up As The M11 Bus, That Was An Out Of Nowhere, While I Was Filming 8708 On The S42, The Driver Probably Did That Just Because I Guess

Vulnerable Toyota They are going to be sent to East New York depot by the time all those New buses are made. 2019 LFS Is better than 2015-16 they have USB/Wi-Fi with no SBS livery. I want all xcelsior nova bus to stop using SBS livery because they keep operating on the local routes instead of the select routes.
And those SBS livery is wasting money and it is depreciating the appeals to those NYS themed buses.

These are nice buses but they’re so many of them in the Bronx I don’t like it
You mean you don't like the capacity of these in the Bronx. And the fleet expands more with he Hybrids we are receiving since last year
