👋🏽 hi it's Therese I wasn't here for the reaction but I thought I'd add my two cents: IT'S FUNNY YOU SAID ODD, or would I say OZ... lemme cook: so "Smeraldo Garden Marching Band" is a direct reference to the Smeraldo Garden of "La Città di Smeraldo", literally "the emerald city" in Italian. I can't figure out if this was a pre-existing folktale or something BTS's creative team literally made up but it tells the story of a man hiding away in a tower because he felt he was too ugly/deformed to be in public (?) and he had a garden of flowers that were unique, which a woman would steal from at night to sell and make a living. Eventually the man fell in love with the woman and tried to develop the perfect flower for her to sell called the Smeraldo Flower only to find out that she had passed. Related is the BTS song The Truth Untold which tells this story or parts of this story, we also reacted to it but didn't discuss the story behind it (just too enraptured in the production/performance) Also, we did check out Like Crazy in BTS month, I don't doubt the 73 songs we reacted to just had that one buried in Brandon's head lol but no worries. thanks for checking this one out too Brandon!
His new album is called Muse. ARMYs anticipating it will be about the things that “inspire” him - i.e., ARMY and The Beatles, so this video was inspired by Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band. It’s not an MV (that’s why track is in the title) - it’s a Live performance. This is going to be JIMINS second album after his extremely successful FACE album.
If you haven’t yet, you should definitely check out his diverse discography. Most of his solo songs especially with the live performances are masterpieces. Reason for why he has a lot of loyal fans. Even with the bare minimum support from his label, he is still breaking records. His first EP is a no-skip actually. Here’s some must-watch suggestions: *Set me free pt2 -mv and dance practice (epic, anthem ) *Like Crazy (synth pop 80s)- mv and dance practice. This debuted straight to no. 1 in Billboard Hot 100 *Filter (Latin pop) - live performance *Serendipity (alluring R&B)- live performance *Lie (classical)- live performance JIMIN is best seen on live or performance videos because he is mesmerizing, a total performer. Oh I remembered you guys already reacted to a JIMIN song but he’s not your bias. So never mind if you don’t like, it’s okay.
