To be fair Liverpool have never overcrowded their squad. They sell they buy. Not sure if it’s still the case these days but they’ve been known for a good wage structure in place. Star players obviously on more. They’ve sold players and brought in while maybe having a slightly bigger net spend than the smaller teams. But Chelsea’s just mindless spending and hoping it will throw them back into contention.
They might have one in 3-5 year ... if thy haven't been forces to sell half the squad to not break any more economical rules.

If you watch the full live game, they did show in second half a clearer angle (side view) which prove that's miles offside.

Your worries should be getting a good coach in who can actually work with potential, this isn’t fifa where you can slap a development schedule on a player and get them going in a super team. Our owners don’t splash cash and sometimes it costs us, but it just shows you that overindulging in the market doesn’t necessarily mean you’re going to be successful.

I learned one of the joys of watching football today. Not the result, although a LFC win is magnificent, but having to watch the final with subtitles. My neighbour was working nights this week, and asked if I would keep the noise down until early evening, So, I watched the final without sound and using subtitles. What an absolute joy. I will forever call Klopp, Spurgeon. Yes, one of the announcers pronunciation of Jurgen was so bad that it was subtitled as Spurgeon Klopp. So, Spurgeon, and his team of young heroes won, led by captain Virgin Van Dyke. Spurgeon and the Virgin. It sounds like a rugby song.
Anyway, just thought I'd pass on this bit of advice. If you need cheering up, watch football with the sound off and subtitles on.
