    This video currently has 151,000 views. 150,000 of them are from me trying to learn these damn modules.

      I hope it's helping. I started with read 1 word, say it, read 2 words, say them, and I kept going. Then I listened to the videos when I was not doing that.

      @@mysticmic1 it helps a lot. I listen to it to and from work every day. I figure if I can passively learn the lyrics to a bunch of different songs just by hearing them regularly on my radio, then it'll work for the modules as well. So far so good.

    I went through Basic Training in the 80s and this video complicates these commands, which are very easy to learn! I remember cadence songs and all. Basic Training was fun at times, but serious business.

      Truthisthelighthotep walker they've complicated everything. I liked the paper on a clipboard method. We have so much trouble getting to a computer and logging in securely for tiny tasks.

      We get a print out one too. This gives you an idea of what the goal is. For me I would start with reading 1 one, the repeating 1 word, then reading 2 words, and repeating 2 words. Same all the way down. It sticks. It's a similar music method.

    is it possible if you command "stand at ease" w/o commanding the "parade rest" first?

      1- do the parade rest?
      2- and then face to the commander?
      Or while doing the parade rest, start looking at the commander? =1count

      VigotheCarpathian yes, and these are just the first 3 to know as you arrive at the school. it is tough mentally while being tough physically. some are shorter. tricky words too. a few say "equally" and a few say "evenly" in similar situations.

    As you were Drill Sergeant, relax is not command.
    The correct term would be rest or at ease

    • @mysticmic1
      @mysticmic1  4 года назад +3

      Those are rest positions at the halt. Relax is used under educational modules to distinguish between the two.
