Hey there, I'm Ryan or Rhapsody here on the internet. I make gaming videos, most often in the let's play format. I usually focus on strategy and indie games, but I tend to record whatever really takes my fancy at the time. If you're interested in the commentary I provide be sure to tune in as I try very hard to release new videos each and every weekday. Thanks for watching the video above and also for taking the time to read this and hopefully I'll see you next time.
There's one crypticism that makes me think the crab MIGHT be included- one does mention an evolutionary advantage, and this game is cheeky enough to reference carcinization.
i believe that one has something to do with the player using mouse+keyboard or controller
And the backwards flying key might be backspace.
my best guess is the crab is clacking in morse code or binary
It's binary, yeah. "hey?"
The riddles’s answer is RECORD and the double-bowl chest object was a GOBLET
I keep thinking it must be "hookah." Although I don't think of them as smelling rancid. :/
32:04 It was at this moment I figured out what Syn's word likely is. I can't remember the last time he took the first letter, so let's hope he finds a Y soon, then maybe he'll figure it out. :)
The slurpy noise at the end made me think it was "goblet", maybe if it had wine in it and he partook too often? Big bowl on top, little bowl on bottom? They're usually decorated. It's a bit of a naff clue though...
At a guess, HOOKAH? It's the right number of letters, and the description vaguely fits.
I was thinking goblet.
@@kaltaron1284 Goblet seems more likely given the bowl with a thin part in the middle description
my partner and i have been watching this every night as a fun puzzle game. we thought the crab was clicking in morse code, whipped out pen and paper, and worked on letter combinations for like a full half hour
it wasn't... even morse code...
so if you ever feel silly about not getting a puzzle right, please think of two people spending thirty minutes trying to decode a crab
Given this is a video game and knowing your average indie video game creator, I supect it may be binary.
I'm actually pretty convinced that the crypticisms are all in spots where you get this flavor-text on the screen describing the scene. (such as the fireplace for example)
I belive you are right. The "regal open fire" in one of the crypticism is likely the chimney with the crown on it.
My guess for the riddle is record. You cna break the record of something and the next person has to break yours
Lol, I was thinking "hearth" - but shows out that my english just sux xD ... Why is there no silent "h" at the end if "heart", when there is one at the end of "earth"?
@@MprokessEnglish is ridiculous is why.
My guess for the riddle is spirit. Even if it's not correct I think it fits
Are you still cool with people putting guesses in the comments?
Absolutely!
Goblet
An easy way to get souls is to play cards with someone that's easy to beat. I think like the cryptmaster gives 60 souls every time your win.
You probably solved by when you’ll read this but I think Nix’s word is Shrink.
Toilet?
First view!
