VLOGGING IN -40° WITH THE DJI OSMO POCKET

- I wanted to test out every day vlog capability with the DJI Osmo Pocket. This is such a convenient camera that if I can make this work, vlogging will be MUCH easier.
Im also a horrible vlogger as of right now, I hope to get more comfortable and become more myself on camera, but it is what it is!
Let me know how it looks and sounds, when things pick up I still plan on using the Sony FS5ii for nicer videos, but this is great for consistency.
All audio and video came from the DJI Osmo Pocket using Pro Mode at 4k in 24FPS and D-Cinelike. Colour graded slightly in Final Cut Pro X

Paul K glad it looks okay! I’ll probably just use the FS5ii down the road, I need to learn how to be myself while I vlog though, so far my biggest hurdle.
Cheers for this, looking for a tiny vlog setup to go with the mirrorless. FOV is the only thing I'm questioning.
Sean Greyvenstein I’ve actually moved on from this camera in general. It’s a good one for convenience and size, but there’s something very disconnected feeling about it since it’s SO small. Good luck finding the right setup!
@@JimMadden ok hectic yea I get what you mean. Been going back and forth on this the Gopro and the oldschool Sony x3000. Will keep on searching, shot for that!

Hey thanks! It was 24fps on 4K, then use the dlog profile!

Thomas Garcia thank you brother! It’s handy for sure, won’t miss anything if you keep one on you. Way less noticeable out in public too
Looks cool to me. You may want to invest in a cheap lapel mic just get a better audio track, but otherwise it's good I think.

was the gimble itself on? It looks like your camera is on lock? Personally i'm not a big fan of the face tracking, but it looks like your camera was locked so that'd be nice if you can lock it?
if that makes sense, haha.
ari camille haha! I think it does, do you mean instead of having it lock automatically, turn that off and just frame it manually? I think that’s more natural looking too, since when was the last vlog you saw tracking someone’s face? Not so common.
