The way they introduced Keldor almost made us think he was a completely separate character from Skeletor.

Neat trick. Cos the show follows canon so well, it definately would have him be that, but they managed to fake it out.
To be fair unless you are familiar with the 2002 MOTU cartoon or the DC run of the comic, this would probably comes from nowhere to someone who was only familiar with the old show or the figure line.
It didn't work on me since the first moments he was introduced it came to my mind that either he's the real skeletor and the current was one was just a fake or it was some kind of disguise

I personally liked the way they did his origins in the 2000's series. His was dying from the acid that was deflected at him and was brought before Hordak and made a deal with the devil and became Skeletor. His face was even more graphic cause you could see it melting and dripping on his hands. The. He went crazy with chaos magic

They both have their merits, but I'm not sure which I like better. I think we'll see that with time.
2000 series made Skeletor an absolute menace. This version kinda humanized him to a point

@@DrFranklynAnderson The rights have been split with no plans that i've heard to try to get them back together. Hordak is just able to appear in both because reasons.

In a way revolution shows the same thing but hordak did that indirectly, by showing keldor the havoc staff and encourage him to take it. Again indirectly.

Just pass this you see when Hordak escaping through a window while Skeletor is captured. Any real fan will realize that Hordak is actually holding a baby though we don't see it and that baby will be Adam's twin sister Andora AKA She-Ra. I hope that bit will lead into having her in the next season, if they have one.

i really liked Revolutions, it sped up the pace and focused on plot AND action. Revelations was more on plot, I just forgave it cause it was short
