    Amazing this doesn't have more likes or views. It is absolute gold. Maybe the reason is... It's hard. It's not easy. The Internet doesn't like hard.

    Showing someone doing these breathing holds would help a lot.

    Thanks for this presentation, I had started to use some of the exercises with some confusion ,,But, since having to wear my covid mask during exercise (albeit slow) I have noticed an increased endurance level and recovery rate, -I 'm sure too that those minor lower back aches have lessened because of the better physical aspects of breathing.

    Stefano Tsitsipas went to work on the weekend at the Australian Open (January 2023) in the final against Novak Djokovic breathing through his mouth - the whole game. Of course, sadly, I could predict the outcome soon after play commenced. It was always going to be a huge achievement for Tsitsipas to overcome Djokovic who was focussed on a mission to win his tenth Australian Open.
    Done and dusted in straight sets. 😮
    Message to Stefano’s team to learn how nasal breathing can give him the edge to unleash his talent to the world and tap into his enormous well of potential. How to get this vital information to Stefano Tsitsipas and his team???

    is there any particular reason you always recommend to pinch the nose? i think most ppl can hold their breath without pinching the nose...

    • @OxygenAdvantage
      @OxygenAdvantage  Год назад +2

      It depends on the exercise @joeybidner.
      In the nose unblocking exercise we pinch the nose as it helps unblock it when combined with a breath hold and nodding of the head.
      In terms of the breath hold exercises mentioned in this video, they are done as a way to build up our tolerance to carbon dioxide.
      By doing this we can improve oxygen uptake in the blood and muscles, improve performance and boost recovery.
      While most people can hold their breath without pinching the nose, by pinching it, we ensure no air is getting in through the nose and have full control over our breathing exercises.

    I have been trying to look into a video where you explain the breathing pattern to reduce lactic acid build up after the breath holds. Could you direct me to a video where this is explained? Thank you.

    After the 5 strong breath holds during warm up wouldn't your blood be much more acidic so when you work out or compete wouldn't lactic acid build up much quicker?
