EDH really just needs 3 categories: - Precon (or anything on that level, no combos, creatures, basic decks) - High powered (you play what you have, all cards included) - cEDH (competitive decks, highly tuned, you dont want to play against anything thats not cEDH anyway) Thats basically enough. If you want to go more extreme it becomes increasingly silly, like a guy that doesnt want to play against mass-removal at all, or people that dont want to play against counterspells ... at that point you can just play on your own and goldfish your deck for the same effect.
EXACTLY! The best thing we can do is remove the shadow of doubt that plagues the format. Sure, people get salty while playing constructed formats, but it’s easy to identify that it was a mismatch and doesn’t become a socially damaging experience. Move forward to the next game. It’s because the expectations for the player and rules of the game are set before even entering the format. The new bracket system will still create trouble, unfortunately. Leaving any room for a player to lie to another player without consequence is where the initial problem stems from.
Fantastic episode!
Great episode! Really intrigued by the future of EDH, I'm interested in seeing how everything will develop over time after these bans.
Thanks for the shout-out, always happy to support and have a chance at some mtg stuff.

Dude not even a shout out to the bounce lands. That is how COA thrives
Lmao! I did name some bounce lands!! Just not the bad ones 😂😂
@moxstars I consider them "card advantage" in my deck with multiple ways to play more than 1 land a turn.
Tbh, I love it. It’s unconventional and has proven to work for you. If people let their guard down because you play one, that’s their problem
My meta knows better but I want to get it out in the wild more.
