The syringe reminds me one of the times I went to a pharmacy to buy a syringe. For mechanical use on motorbikes. I asked the lady in there for the biggest one they had in stock. Her expression was hilarious! I guess she thought I was going to deal with some sort of a horse or elephant. LOL 😂😂
Nice 👍👍 and interesting video to watch!! I have a 1997 Yamaha neos! Still running good!! But after i have purchased it,had to do quite the same restoration job,like you.....mine was in worse condition,than yours. The only thing is,that it's hard to find any plastic part in my country ( Ukraine). Other than that,the scooter gives so much fun for already 5 years.....i have a big motorcycle also! But just love to commute on my scooter to the river side and everywhere else! Are the plastic parts to this scooter available over in the UK? ( especially the part where you put your feet on).
Thanks! Yes I'm more used to larger motorcycles too but the scooter still puts a smile on my face. I've had a look at the place where I usually buy Yamaha parts and they are also showing the footrest board as no longer available - sorry!
Adding to that tip. Bronze bolts are my preferred choice if and when I have to deal with an exhaust assembly. Cars or motorbikes alike. As the name implies rust won't be a problem. The next time you need to do some maintenance. Second best choice stainless steel... similar reasons. ;-)
Yet another 1st class, no fuss informative video.
Thank you for taking the time & effort to post these.
It is very much appreciated.

I use 80w90 oil for my final drive.... Is the engine oil better for this piece??
I don't know if it's better, but the manual I got with this one says to use SAE 10w30 type SE engine oil for the transmission.
@AbduL-JaliL Omar This is a 2 stroke 👍
Can we use valvoline instead 10w30 ?
What year is this one?
This is a 2001 model.
thanx bro
No problem 👍
exhaust bolts i use are from the aerox as they are a longer bolt for the socket to sit on, them bolts tend to rust and you can't get the socket to fit
Thanks for the tip!
