Funny because Freak Kitchens Album Appetizer from 94 has a song called “What’s the problem”. Mattias hits a similar lick run in that song. Joss was either not born yet or just a baby lol

Mattias can do this shit in his sleep. The solo for Haw Haw Haw has some of the cleanest fastest alt picking ever and to say he doesnt know harmonic minor is silliness. His website has an exhaustive list of exotic scales. Mattias was probably bored by this and or doesnt dig challenges.

He’s Swedish and apart from some famous exceptions you’re not going to hear big ego bragging, but rather a bunch of wizards that think they suck:)

The lick was a pretty mundane descending 3NPS line in E Phrygian which Mattias, on a whim, basically played note for note without dissecting it at all before proceeding to be self-deprecating.
