Tons of great info. not many people will share their tricks and secrets learned over a lifetime, the things that I learned over 50 years of fishing ( seasonal fishing ) attest to your expertise.
Capt Steve, that was the best fluke tutorial, all around. I'm retired, fish central Florida coastal waters. Techniques have changed since I was a teen, mostly bucktails. Thanks again for fab video. Ron Cormier, Orlando.
Do we really actually retire from fishing ? It’s been such a bad fishing season for me I always told my wife that this year I feel at times it’s cheaper to buy a fish and cook then waste money on baits, singers, new rods and just the drive and gas u put into this mission of hope to catch and bring home and feed ur family.. retire from fishing I said this over 15x this year and always two days later at 5/6 am I wind up out east Long Island New York in hope to catch when there feeding and chasing bait. As of now I’m like 2 for 89 and those two I caught were both sharks in shallow waters.. take care and we never quit and keep trying Lol ..
I love to go fishing I cannot wait until I get a fish it is very exciting today hopefully we might catch a fluke today I am very excited about catching a big monster fluke 🐠🐠🐠🐠🐠🐠
I must say that this is probably the very best instructional video on how to catch any particular species of fish, but specifically flounder, that I have ever seen. I probably have saved or bookmarked thousands of fishing videos on RUclips, but this one covers everything from A to Z. I especially liked the drop line barber trick, which I too have used in the past. Now, my only question is, how would you change these strategies and tactics if you do not have a boat, and are forced to fish from Shore? Now obviously you can use the vertical approach if you're on a Pier or a dock, but most of the time you cannot use the techniques described in much of this video. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thank you.
Thank you
