I'm not even Italian and I don't cook but seeing a pizza being boiled felt so painful to see I do love pizza I just witnessed my baby get massacred in 4k
Boiling Pizza: you could have probably gotten away with it if it were in a sous vide style bag. But it wouldn't have stopped it from being soggy. It released a LOT of moisture and that moisture had no where to go.
I want to see more of these vending machines, for science.

I heard there’s a vending machine on top of Mt Fuji. My mind was literally blown when I was told this. Literally vending machines are EVERYWHERE in Japan. Crazy and awesome
Oh, there are many!😅😅 I saw many there, and got to know a guy who had been up, I think over 300 times in 5 years, as he worked there in summer holidays, including helping stock them (they have belt/track vehicles that drive supplies up these days.) when there.😅
HK starting to have weird vending machines too, we have a covid test kits vending machine, someone told mehe saw one that sold electronics, haven't really paid attention or seen many weird ones but nothing beats Japan 😆

Cooking in japan is also really expensive from what I understsnd, but it still might be cheaper than ordering so it would be interesting.
@@Brex10 I wasn't sure about it but the Dominos Pizza vid prices were just unreal. Even frozen pizza about 20 USD!!! This can be totally wrong but a quick google search wheat flour seems to be not expensive, just .5 to 1 USD per Kg and Mozzarella about 5-6 USD per .5 KG - so Wheat seems cheap, and Mozzarella not cheap but not that expensive. A pizza steal or stone, a normal European oven would be enough (smaller, no Turkey ;) ) or an e-pizza oven, here you can get OK-ish ones for below 100 EUR with about 400°C/700°F and if there is no other reason... and I totally agree, it would be at least a good vid ;)

I think putting the boiled pizza in an multi-purpose oven on "toast setting" could have potentially fixed it. Like one of the multi purpose ovens on a counter top. Or setting the oven to convection bake so it just takes a lot of the moisture out.

@@anthonynelson6671 There was one, but I'm pretty sure it was for gun models. Maybe even model kits. They are apparently very popular in Japan, and the models are sometimes super realistic.

@@anthonynelson6671 Yeah, I had watched a stream from somebody when they explained the level of detail Japanese model companies will put into models of firearms. Apparently many Hollywood productions will get models from Japan because of the accuracy of the details when they need prop guns.

I was in Europe a few weeks back, and I saw a thing on the news about this Italian guy who's actually invented a vending machine that MAKES pizza - like, actually makes it, from start to finish while you wait, and gives you a fresh, hot pizza right there on the street. I don't know if it is in Japan tough. "Raw" grocery materials can be more expensive than menus from restaurants so idk
It depends. Any sort of produce is more expensive as an ingredient than something premade, but it may be possible to put premade ingredients together.
Since most of the stuff for pizza needs to be imported, it ends up being cheaper to buy it from a restaurant due to them being able to buy in bulk and get it cheaper by volume. There are many things like that in Japan.
Cheese is INSANELY expensive in Japan though, so it might not be that big of a difference

Best way to reheat cold/ defrosted pizza is, place on a frying pan no oil medium heat, add a dash of water and put a lid on it for 4-5 mins. Heat from pan will crisp up the bottom and evaporation from water will melt the cheese on top :)

30 dollars a slice. I am 1 of the owners of a private company that is a fully automated pizzeria. Any pizza on demand everywhere, anywhere 24/7. Pizza start at 10 dollars for a whole pie making a slice $1.25. Did I mention made in 3 mins..we are global and in the states.
