OH NO!!!! Chris I totally get it. Obviously, we your loyal viewers, will sorely miss your insights and amazing playing. Thank you Thank you Thank you Chris. It's been awesome for this 60 year old retired guitarist/musician to come across such a talent as yourself. I've thoroughly enjoyed every minute of your footage. Much respect and best wishes from the south pacific New Zealand.
This is truly the end of a great era. RUclips could never adequately compensate for the amount of work and passion it took to put out a weekly video for 7 years. Just all of Chris’s guitar jams alone over those 7 years is epic RUclips viewing. Thank you for everything Chris!
Don't know of you'll read this Chris, but in spite of my littleness as a guitar player you deeply changed my way of playing, and no thanks will ever be enough.
No need to apologize: family comes always first, life comes always first and being focused on a person professional goals undoubtley requires committment and to choose what is worth focusing on. Chris, your Dad introduced me to Friday Fretworks knowing that I knew nothing about guitars and less about how to make music but without fail he would send me a link with clear pride when he thought I would like a topic. He wasn't wrong, your clear intelligence, enthusiasm and knowledge of your passion was infectious and it became more of a weekly history lesson for me with the added bonus of appreciating your generational talent. I thank you for widening my knowledge and for providing a Friday treat with the joy that used to be supplied in the form of Sherbet Dib Dab by my Dad. I had many conversations with Dory about Photography but I can hear his intelligence and talent for making words sing through you. I deeply miss my conversations with him, a lot of which was the glowing pride he had for what you've achieved. Thank you Chris, your chosen path will only get better I'm sure.
Thank you Chris, you are that rare thing, an artist who has developed his own unique sound, not to mention being intelligent, articulate, modest and Welsh to boot - we have been lucky to be along for the ride....
Devasted to hear that you're calling time on Friday Fretworks - Fridays just won't be the same without my FFFix! That said, we should be lauding your 7-year body of work which has been nothing short of amazing, combining your exceptional ability to teach, share and communicate with your amazing guitar virtuosity - a unique fusion of artitstry, eloquence and inspiration, in my (fairly) extensive opinion and experience. Bon Chance, mon ami and immeasurable tributes and thanks to you and yours. Hopefully, we're talking Au Revoir rather than Adieu!

It’s amazing that you’ve been able to maintain FF for 7 years. Every installment that I’ve seen has been meaningful and helpful. I’m beyond thrilled that you and Cardinal Black are receiving the accolades and success that you so richly deserve. Can’t wait to see videos from the road and live back in the States!!! Wishing you much success and thank you for the guidance and inspiration.
Friday fretworks will be sorely missed but totally understand your busy commitments. So grateful for the huge amount of time you dedicated to us all over last 7 years in sharing your expertise of interesting, fluid and intelligent presentations accompanied by your extraordinary musical skills on various fretboards. Enjoy every moment of your talent and accolades so richly deserved..🙏👍

If you create something you believe in then I will watch or listen to it. I always looked forward to 'Friday fretworks' and I now look forward to whatever you choose to create next.
