Nooooooo! Buy a "no drip" caulking gun. You don't have to remember to back it off every time, which is a pain. Plus cut the tip way smaller.
I don't know what kind of chalk the maintenance crew uses in my apartment, but it sure isn't the one you are using. The kind they are using is always breaking apart & falling off. I'm tired of calling them to fix it. I value my privacy.
My current apartment has this issue right now. Im learning how to recaulk the bathtub by watching this video.
Thanks for sharing the video. One other thing I would recommend before applying the new caulk is taking a few minutes to clean the gap between tile and tub of any mold, residue etc. using vinegar and an old tooth brush, followed by water rinse and dry with rag. This will not only prevent future mold growth but will aid caulk adhesion.
I had to use a hair dryer to soften it enough to cut easily
Can you give us the link for the tile paint?
Nicely done. Basic, no-frills tutorial. I'm a handyman in THAILAND 🇹🇭.. but, caulking is not my forte! Have used finger method to smooth bead, but "traveled too far," without wiping on damp rag. 😏 Good tip. Will try it soon. Thanks, Gods Blessings & keep up the good work!
Do you need to clean mold behind old chaulk? If so, how?
Thanks for such a helpful and thorough video. And also for the caulk gun instructions. I never would known about the pressure release.
First time caulker here. Thank you for this video. It explains everything I need to do in great detail and it was very easy to understand. Cheers!
This little
Great video, nice to see it being done on an older tub, which is what we have. I'm surprised you didn't tape it off though, especially for the people that have never done it before. Makes it neater and easier. All in all great video.
Getting ready to repaint my hall bathroom. This video was good for me as I am also planning to recaulk my tub area. Thanks for posting.
Thank you so much for your clear explanations. I now know how and why to do the things needed to be done in this project.
Great job! I suspect that the calk applying process would be the same in the kitchen. I need to redo ours. Great tips, Cy! I hope hi eye is doing better!!
Great video thanks for thorough step by step
Thank you so much. You gave me information I needed!
Love these videos
Thanks for this video!
Good video. I did the entire side at once and it was a bit more lumpy than I would have liked. I will do a little at a time next time.
