Ordered the GP9 and holymoly u guys already ready with your stuffs! I'd love to order them, bt can we have dedicated video about the lens only ? Its my first gopro so i wanted to study about it everythng possible
Jenna, thanks for the helpful info. What white balance do you recommend for sunny days and also for cloudy days? I heard sunny days should be 5500k and cloudy should be 6500k. Does this sound correct to you?
What a great video. I had no idea what these lenses are used for or even that the GoPro could even film using cinematic settings. The Hero 9 PolarPro Shutter Collection is already out of stock. Stupid question, but what are the three levels ND8, ND16 and ND32 and when best to use them?
Hey Johnny, We do still have them in stock, sorry for any confusion! As for the ND strengths they represent different reductions of light. The ND8 reduces light by 3 stops, the ND16 by 4 stops and the ND32 by 5 stops. In its simplest form, you are looking to control the amount of light based on the scenario, so the brighter it is the heavier the ND you would likely need to achieve your desired shutter speed.
@@PolarProFilters Thanks for the quick reply. Ahaa, yeah I just read on your website about the different filters. The filters are out of stock on the UK GoPro website. I notice they are in stock on your website though. Though shipping and duty tax on top it looks like if I order direct from yourselves.
@@Johnnyjawbone @PolarPro Yes, the GoPro site for Spain neither has stock of these filters... As for levels, is an ND32 enough for recording at ISO100, 1/48 s on a sunny day? why not also include an ND64?
Hi there. I love the color and tone I get from the ND filters on my gopro 10, but I do mostly action FPV (dirt bike) and I get a lot of shake even with stabilization on. Any tips of how to handle that? Here are my settings; ND16, 5k 30FPS, wide view, hyperview standard, bitrate high, shutter 1/60, WB 5500k, ISO 100-400, sharpness low, color flat. Thank you!
Hey Patrick! The filters shown in the video are made specifically for the Hero9 but you can check out a full line of Hero7 filters here: www.polarprofilters.com/collections/filters?_=pf&pf_t_action_cam=ActionCam%3AGoPro%20HERO7
Great question! If you are referring to the stock GoPro UV glass, it does require a little force to remove initially. If you are continuing to have difficulties we have seen success utilizing a rubber band to help gip the stock UV. If you are having difficulty with our filters please try the above or reach out to our support staff for more assistance. Thanks!
Yeah to get the most out of your camera you need to go manual, but without the proper setup it can be difficult to get the look your are aiming for. Hope the video helps!
Had so much fun filming this and riding with Jenna! 🤟🏿
Thanks for all your help on this video, Tristan! Everyone be sure to check out Tristan's channel!

Awesome video. So far the absolute best instruction video I’ve seen for the 9. Thank you!!
Setting sharpening to low improves the image so drastically! I will never understand why camera makers overdo the sharpening.
Hey John, Its to preference but we do agree
It is nice to hear recommendations from a professional. And thank you for the good quality of your video.
Thanks David!

Your filters are the best! Just ordered a set. I always shoot at 24 fps, ND filters are a must!
Truly a must!
Great video. Tempted to get the filters but can't afford right now after buying the cam! :)
Hoping it fits your budget in the future! Happy filming!
awesome review
Any chance of a new adapter to allow us to fit the existing filters from the Hero 8 shutter collection onto the 9?
Hey Chris, the Hero8 is a smaller camera so the Hero9 requires a larger filter.

Nice Filters and perfect settings! Good work :)
Thanks a lot!
Whats a good setting for underwater footage?
Looks nice! Great job on the mini tutorial. I'm thinking about picking up the Hero 9.
A solid choice if you decide to go with it!
When will these be available?

what card do you recommend for enough space and speed?

Is it possible to turn off the front screen.?
It sure is!

Will the filters from the Hero 7 work with the Hero 9?
Hi Arnie, the Hero7 ND filters are not compatible with the Hero9 as it is a different camera size.
Best
will the media mod work with hero 9?
no you need a new one as its a bit bigger
GoPro has released a new line of Hero9 specific mods. Be sure to check them out!
@@Krueger_Patrick sweet ill be ordering it soon

Waiting for the GoPro Hero X
Were always excited to see what GoPro creates next!
There will always be something better. Meanwhile, the action doesn't wait. You should keep that in mind.
I knew it!
LOVE IT!!!!
Excited to get some filters over to you, Sid!
Cinematic settings = Manual settings

For $500, I’ll wait for DJi Osmo Action version 2. But mean time, I am enjoying my GoPro 7 and Osmo Action.
It's $450, or just $350 with a year's subscription to GoPro.
daj mi te goł pro bo tobie nie potrzebne
"Gopro cinematic" is a good example when someone asks what an oxymoron is. But anyway, I like your products.
Osmo Action IS BETTER!
