The JJC lens cap will leave a circle of marks around the lens because the lens cap is metal and will rub against the camera body. Long-term use will cause a circle of paint to peel off.

Thanks for the head up on that.

How did you fit the Peak Design loops? They won’t fit through the holes on my GR3

If form factor isn't the biggest issue, the Squarehood GR Glass is amazing. It a square lens hood with a piece of glass infront, so that help with dust prevention as well.

That’s awesome. I think that will be next purchase for sure. Thanks for checking out my channel. 🤙🏻

Agree on the viewfinder. I bought one for the GR3X and it’s dreadful. I like the lens cap too but I’ve dropped it so many times I can’t even tell you. Still debating the thumb grip. I find I’m constantly knocking the ADJ settings (especially the +/- comp) so I’ve stopped using it. Also made it uncomfortable in the pocket because it’s quite “sharp”. Finally while I *love* the PD wrist strap on other cameras I find it’s too bulky for the GR3X. Instead use the OG strap with a rubber O ring or simply tie a knot in it.

Wish Ricoh could move on to designing a lens similar to the Fujifilm X70.

Ya that would be fantastic. They might need slightly more thickness in the body but I’d be OK with that.

I've got the X70, there's a couple of caveats that come with the design:
      1. It's still a dust magnet since it's not an internal mechanism. So being non-retracting made no difference to the size after I had to put a filter system on to both the X70 and GRIII.
      2. It's pretty bad wide open beyond a couple meteres or so. It's pretty poor quality in general beyond 2.5m, but at 2.8 it's just mush.
If they're taking things from the X70, I prefer they take the flip up selfie screen.

Great video, really useful thank you. I have quite a few JJC accessories for various cameras and they are all very good quality for the price. What is the book to the left of the accessories you are reviewing?

Thanks so much for watching and for the great feedback. The book on the left is Wayward from Photographer Chris Burkard.

How about the nisi hood/filter adapter?

To be honest, I hadn’t considered that one at all, but I will take a look. Thanks for watching my video. I really appreciate it.

@@islandbyfilm I’m getting back into the GR again awaiting shipment today. Tired of larger cameras and guessing focus. Back to the GR and Film cams using snap/range focus
