- Corsa Xtreme vs Borla Atak Exhaust on a 392 6.4L Hemi with #fred_eazy21
Comparing the Corsa Xtreme and Borla ATAK exhaust systems on a 6.4L Hemi V8 engine, such as the one found in the Dodge Charger SRT8 or Challenger R/T Scat Pack, involves considering various factors such as sound, performance, build quality, and pricing. Let's break down the comparison:
Corsa Xtreme Exhaust:
Sound: The Corsa Xtreme exhaust system is known for its deep, aggressive tone. It produces a loud and commanding exhaust note, especially at wide-open throttle, without excessive drone or resonance in the cabin. The sound is typically characterized by a low rumble with a refined tone.
Performance: Corsa exhaust systems are engineered to optimize exhaust flow and reduce backpressure, resulting in potential performance gains in terms of horsepower and torque. The Corsa Xtreme exhaust is designed to maximize engine output while maintaining emissions compliance.
Build Quality: Corsa exhaust systems are crafted from high-quality materials such as stainless steel, ensuring durability, corrosion resistance, and long-lasting performance. The Xtreme series features mandrel-bent tubing and precision welding for a precise fit and finish.
Price: Corsa exhaust systems tend to be priced at a premium compared to some other aftermarket options. The Xtreme series represents one of Corsa's top-tier offerings, reflecting its premium build quality and performance.
Borla ATAK Exhaust:
Sound: The Borla ATAK (Acoustically-Tuned Applied Kinetics) exhaust system is designed to deliver an aggressive and sporty exhaust note. It produces a deep, throaty sound with a pronounced growl under acceleration, providing a visceral driving experience. However, it may have more cabin drone compared to the Corsa Xtreme.
Performance: Borla exhaust systems are engineered to optimize exhaust flow and enhance engine performance. The ATAK exhaust is designed to minimize backpressure and maximize horsepower and torque, potentially improving throttle response and overall engine efficiency.
Build Quality: Borla exhaust systems are known for their high-quality construction and craftsmanship. The ATAK exhaust is typically constructed from aerospace-grade T-304 stainless steel, ensuring durability and corrosion resistance. Borla exhausts are also backed by a million-mile warranty for added peace of mind.
Price: Borla exhaust systems are generally priced competitively within the aftermarket exhaust market. While the ATAK series may command a slightly higher price compared to some other Borla offerings, it offers exceptional build quality and performance for the price.
Conclusion:
Both the Corsa Xtreme and Borla ATAK exhaust systems offer significant performance and sound enhancements for the 6.4L Hemi V8 engine. The choice between the two ultimately comes down to personal preferences regarding sound, build quality, and pricing. It's recommended to listen to sound clips and read reviews from other owners to determine which exhaust system best suits your preferences and driving style.

Borla sounds better on a mustang
Just add long tubes with the corsa and it’s game over.
You're doing great bro! Keep going!!! LFGGGGG
I have the Borla Atak on my '18 Challenger Scat Pack with kooks long tube headers and it is a curtain call!! Corsa is wayyy too quiet
it's definitely quiter when not in full WOT, thnx for watching!
Borla sounds a little more aggressive and louder, I personally like corsa better
Hey there! agreed I personally like the corsa myself, thnx for watching!
The Borla vehicle does not idle as if it has a stock cam?
yea I hear that too, it might be a less aggressive cam to pair with the supercharger, or he was just talking lol
Love the sound of the Atak but damn that will get the cops called on you quick haha
haha tru, that's why I got the corsa, quieter when not at wide open throttle, thnx for watching!
@@moparbro For sure man. It sounds dope to have a car that's loud AF at wide open throttle but you still want the ability to drive past cops without drawing too much attention.
How does the AWE track and magnaflow xmod stand up to these two?
great question, I haven't heard the awe track or magnaflow in person b4 🔥 thnx for chiming in! 🔥
Battle of the Bands!!! 🎸 🤘 ▶️🔈🔉🔊🎵🎶🎼😊
haha 🔥
I'm tryn figure out which exhaust is the meanest myself for my widebody scat. Isn't the atak the meanest sounding? Tryn figure out either corsa or borla
Hey there! the borla is meaner in the lower and mid rpm ranges and tapers off at wide open throttle, the corsa is is softer at the low and mid range rpms then is the loudest at wide open throttle. good thing is either exhaust is the top choices for exhaust for our mopars so you really can't go wrong with either choice. But yea the atak is "meaner" if that's the sound you want,
Any drone inside with Borla? I read Corsa doesn’t have any?
BORLA ATAK 4 THE WIN!!!!!
agreed! thnx for watching!
What blue is that on that Challenger???
hey there, pretty sure it's b5 blue
