- This video shows how easy it is to install the HGR2488 Prism VGA Monitor Interface in the TASCAM 2488 and is the same for MK1, MKII and NEO machines. It should take you around 15-20 minutes to install. The same procedure also applies to the HGR2488 Classic module.

No, the HGR-2488 Prism is only compatible with the Tascam 2488
@@HGR2488 ..cant the modder work on korg d multitrack recorders there better machines than the tascam and no one has modded them

just buy a zoom r16 or r24 your tascam will die they you find one of these hgr convertor.........

My harddrive is frozen, and I replace it with a 160G harddrive. Now the 2488 window is saying the same thing. Can't find harddrive. There is no sign of the harddrive getting power. Can you tell me what supply the harddrive with power.

So, where does a person get the interface? Am I just buying the interface, or does it only work with that specific monitor? And like the below me.. any reason it wouldn't work with the neo. That's the only thing I really hate about most portastudios, you have to squint thru EQ'ing and most everything. This would be perfect.
