    Jade isn't flopping tho.
You can't expect a solo artist to have an instant hit in the US with only 2 songs out (1 official debut and 1 promo).
Look at some of the artists that are popping of right now, like Sabrina and Chappell. It took them YEARS before having an actual hit.
Jade is just starting, and it's been less than 6 months since her debut. Give her time.

I love all 4 of the girls sm, but Perrie's debut was my least fav out of them all. It wasn't a bad song at all, but it was just so basic to me. She could do so much more with her voice and talent. Jesy's was second to least fav for me, i think the song wasn't terrible but the music vid and controversy around the time was. Leigh-anne was second, it felt very her but Jade's was just phenomenal. Captured her personality and the pop industry really well. Very unique and brilliant debut

I'd say it's because the members have always had very weak personal branding, non-fans of the group aren't used to them outside of Little Mix, Cheryl from Girls Aloud, for example, had a successful solo career because she was the most popular member since the reality show and became a tabloid favorite as a 'WAG' because she dated Ashley Cole and hanged out with Victoria Beckham

Oh Little Mix was/is HUGE in a global sense. They just didn't crack the US. Like, they literally sold 60 million records over 11 years. For comparison, Destiny's Child sold 60 million records and that was with huge popularity in the United States. Meanwhile, 5th Harmony has sold around 30 - 35 million records globally.
Also, Jesy's solo career stalled largely due to the race controversy (but the song was wack too). So far I'd say that Jade is experiencing the highest solo success so far with "Angel Of My Dreams". It's the longest-charting song of all the LM solo songs so far. But it is odd that she's not done a single live performance of either the original or the S.A.D. version (the performance version of the S.A.D. remix is PHENOMENAL).

    • @pulspectrum

    • @SkylarTheWriter
      @SkylarTheWriter 4 месяца назад +3

@@pulspectrum Hmm, that's a really good point about the number of albums. But I would also add that Little Mix maintaining that level of fame for 11 years on a global scale means more in the long run.
Fifth Harmony burned really bright, lost one member, and completely fizzed out. LM had longevity without the major US support Fifth Harmony had. But regardless, both groups were a huge deal and filled the girl group void left by the likes of Destiny's Child and TLC.

I would say Leigh Anne is also the most successful as both her and jade made an American chart and has the best musical feedback. Leigh Anne I think has gained an entirely new fanbase growing from the black and Hispanic communities. So I would not just say jade is tasting success or the most successful. Midnight cowboy didn’t reach the success AOMD did and I’m not sure fantasy will either. Let’s wait to see the consistency with her success. As a die-hard stan, it’s simple - motherhood change them. They’ve become more demure and the passion to chase for success and stardom is not as passionate as before which is understandable but Jade on the other is still single and slowly flourishing because she is free from obligations of becoming a mother. On the extreme end, Jesy set herself up for failure with that debut song, no questions, difficult to recover from that. But ultimately, it’s still too early to tell since none has released an album yet

I don’t think they are flopping as individual artists apart from Jesy. Each girl has a different sound which appeals to widely different audiences. Leigh Anne’s sound, which I love, doesn’t seem that popular amongst mainstream audiences, and I feel that she has to tour out of the Uk to build a significant fan base.
Perrie has the largest following and it seemed a given that she would have instant success, but good as her first two tracks were I wasn’t wowed. However her latest track is impressive I think the music video is fire, and I would be surprised if it’s not a hit!
Jade’s Aomd song & videos were amazing and the direction she has chosen to explore creatively intrigues me I’m excited for what’s to come. It’s early day’s for them as solo artists. I’m supporting all of the girls!

Leigh Anne’s sound may not be mainstream but she is more successful than jesy and perrie which perrie is doing mainstream music so maybe that doesn’t matter in this case? Jade is doing well but her second single is not successful. It’s struggling for views and the streams are low. Idk he debut was so good but this is why I told people ti hold one and see if she will be consistent with this success. Leigh anne has been the stand out and surprise of the 4. She has proven people wrong thinking she’d be the least successful. It’s to early to tell but right now I’d say it’s Leigh, jade, perrie of big potential.

I think you should have studied more because little mix was bigger and more successful than fifth harmony. The issue was them not being big or promoted in America but still they became the most successful girl band ever and made history over the spice girls, TLC and destiny’s child. Now them as solo artists is not a fair argument as they all don’t even have albums out yet so judging them like you did was pretty silly. Sabrina took 6 albums to get where she is, Victoria Monet took a decade to get where she is etc. Not everyone gets their flowers right away it takes awhile sometimes and that’s ok. Leigh Anne and jade are the only successful members so far and Leigh’s ep didn’t get promo but still has over 15-16 million streams and she has gained so many new fans especially in the black and Hispanic communities. Jade is doing well and has a massive gay and drag fanbase. Perrie is definitely struggling I’m so shocked being that she had the most fans and hype. Jesy well no surprise she flopped. You need to do your homework though before making videos because you are pretty clueless in the groups major success and massive fanbase.

Little mix was and will always be huge globally but I think for an artist to be considered as a huge artist she/he have to have a break through or be popular in USA. Fifth Harmony and 1D both were very popular in USA and both groups had the shining stars of the group which made it easier for them in their solo journey, but for little mix the girls supported each other without competing even while in the band so even the fans support them all, that's how I see it.
They are all talented with different taste, Leigh anne's songs have a great potential,I think if she would get enough promo in USA her solo career would be it, especially since she was the most underrated member. Jade is surely using the USA strategy and I think she will soon be recognized, Perrie already have a huge fan base but I feel like her first song was a disappointment to many but she is starting to release songs with more flavor.

Everything that’s happened after Jesy left I knew would happen. I knew that if one of the girls were to leave it would be Jesy. I could also tell that she would leave soon. I just knew it was coming and when it did I wasn’t surprised in the least. I also knew that she would get in some sort of fued with one if not all the members. It just happens with every group after someone leaves. I also knew that soon after she left, little mix would go on hiatus. And when they did their solo music, sure it would get some views. Maybe a hit song (within the UK) here or there but nothing too huge. Literally nothing of what has happened has surprised me one bit. I saw it coming before it even happened. But I’m definitely not happy about. I literally love little mix. They along with Melanie Martinez were the ONLY artists I followed and considered myself a fan of for years!! I first found both artists in 2018 when I was 8 and instantly fell in love. It wasn’t by choice but they were the only ones who captivated me. I’ve literally only recently started to get into others artists last year. Little Mix has impacted me in words i cannot describe and it sucks that everything happened the way it did. I almost kinda wish i was wrong in all my predictions but life happens I guess. I do wish their music was taking off. Especially Perrie and Leigh Anne since their music is really good!!! Tears and I’ll still be there have a choke hold on me. It also doesn’t make sense to me why people want a reunion. Like I do to don’t get me wrong but why now?? Like what’s the point of making your hiatus a huge deal and saying “this will be the last tour” “get ready for solo music” to then just come right back 1-2 years later. I feel a reunion in this instance should be years away from each other to grow and learn some independence. See where you career takes you. And then come back YEARS later to reminisce on the past, celebrate the time spent apart, and shed some tears. I feel that with the way they were hyping up their hiatus it wouldn’t make sense to instantly get back together. BUT anyway, I just hope that their careers can start to pick up a little and they can hopefully FINALLY break out into America lol. Nice video btw. I love when people actually talk about little mix.

Truly Perrie is a little over 6 months as a solo artist, Jade is over 3 months & Leigh-Anne is over 1 year and 4 months in … give them time as Sabrina Carpenter esp. & Chappell Roan is evidence of that 💯
Jade & Perrie are undoubtedly the most successful solo-wise from the band with Jade leading (only 2 who still charts in the UK iTunes and can make it into USA charts, UK Radio Airplay numbers, their singles cracked the top 10, the most streams & the most critical acclaim for their solo music - Perrie moreso for her voice and Jade moreso for her material) but Perrie & Leigh-Anne overall has my favorite music easily 💙💙💙
But I love all of the Little Mix Girls solo material 🩶
Love how Perrie is trying to bag the televised performances which does help - The Voice UK, BBC ONE SHOW, The Graham Norton Show, Summertime Ball etc. - Go Girl 👏🏽🩶

I get you’re a big perrie Stan but lying to yourself won’t help her. She is not the most successful with jade that is definitely Leigh Anne . Perrie has flopped and everyone knows that. That’s why when you go to any platform jade and Leigh Anne are always praised as the best and jesy and perrie as the worst. Leigh Anne is the only member to have two singles in the uk official charts top 40 and she and jade are the only ones who made an American chart. Perrie is not successful she is struggling hard. You can talk about streams for her debut all you want but it has done nothing for her in terms of longevity of success. It doesn’t matter how long they were solo as perrie was expected even from you to be the most successful. Turns out right now she is the least successful and struggles on the charts and views. Up until she released her latest single Leigh Anne had more listeners than perrie for 2-3 months? You don’t like Leigh Anne we all know that but to try and not give her the flowers she earned is you being bitter that you underestimated her. She just sold out all 5 shows and is having the success you claimed perrie would. I think perrie is better in a group, she doesn’t have personality on stage or in her music. Jade and Leigh Anne are showing who were the backbone of that group.

Little Mix was bigger than Fifth Harmony they sold more records than them also they did bigger Tours. You said some things without even checking the facts. Your in the US think just because a girl group is big in America or have more hits in the US they are bigger then the group is not that knowin un the US but thats not true not on this case. Also you said Jesy had a flop single but you know that the song charted better than every solo songs that the girls released right....

Exactly, both groups were successful and well known in their own countries. Which doesn’t count comparing, two groups from different countries.
While I still think Little Mix is recognise a little bit in America, but they just never made big over there. Because of their label and management, didn’t bother to shine over there.

For me, Leigh Anne has the best music and I believe she is currently on tour. I've seen some people trying to downplay her by saying that it's not a real tour cause it's only a couple of shows but at the end of the day, she sold out her shows and is performing her music for people that want to hear her, so a win is a win.
Jade's music had to grow on me. Her song Fantasy has a good beat but I cannot understand a word babygirl is saying so I cannot say I actually like the song or not.
On a random side note, Jade's cover of Backbone on Live Lounge is the best cover any of them have done.

Lastly love all the girls but watching all of them as of now JADE has potential to dominate pop music along Charlie xcx I would love a collaboration or a joint ep from the JADE has strong songs and strong production and visually stunning music and keeping us on engaged with what she’s doing next JADE give pop music, hyper pop, midtempos pop ballad Jade is a wildcard she experimental with her music ain’t no telling what she’ll do next perrie is giving me Adele and Kelly Clarkson , Tori Kelly vibes she would pop, throwback 90s and 2000s pop and r&b and sucking ballads with her style of music Leigh Ann gives me r&b, alternative r&b, island, dance pop, house music rap sing I see her eventually incorporating her rapping with her sing so the can occupy different lanes so they might be success the mixers can support whatever music they connect with some it might have to grow but we’re getting a abundance of music from the 3 ladies I’m excited they all offer something different they’re style and the type of music is completely different can’t wait to see how these songs come into play when they all release they’re debut albums

I'm the opposite. When leigh released her music i was ready to get into it, but aside from Your love (that song is a SLAY), the rest feel like a nothing burger to me. Them barely scratching the 2 minutes mark and no bridges doesn't help: the song ends before i get into it and are way too repetitive being mainly choruses.
I agree for perrie that tears should have been the first single. Forget about us is generic and felt like just another LM song. You go your way also felt generic but generic anoying tbh, the constant ok part in the chorus makes my ears bleed. I was expecting more from her with her VOCALS, but her latest song felt messy to me. I'm not expecting a grandieuse creative vision from perrie so i'm fine with it and waiting for the album to see how the songs fit.
From jade i did expect a vision and she DELIVERED. She always felt like the one with the clearest artistic vision from the trio and the most likely to take risks and she HAS. I wasn't into angel either at first but it has grown on me quite a bit (the S.A.D. version i did LOVE on first listen). Midnight cowboy i loved and can't wait for fantasy tbh.
And jesy well... boyz was a flop and her other song was cute. The rollout was simply a mess

@@UnderWater-FireWorksLeigh Anne is easily the one who took a risk not really jade. She isn’t doing anything we didn’t expect and no different from wasabi from LM. Leigh Anne took risks doing music mixers don’t listen to and barely the uk. She risked making an EP about her controversial relationship that people judge her for and her songs are short because they aren’t singles , they are short chapters of her experience with her husband and not on the album. They are short yet are the best music from all the girls and that’s the exciting part because it shows she has so much more to show us. Jade is my absolute fav but the music she’s doing doesn’t show off her vocals besides the slow version and I’m not into the club music. Obviously she will always be my fav but unbiased opinion Leigh Anne making the best music so far. Perrie is super shocking how unsuccessful she is so far. 3 singles and still struggling to find herself? I’m worried.

I'm still excited about her career as a solo artist and will be listening to anything she puts out. Hopefully l'll connect with her music next time.
