St. Francis is my conformation saint. I didn't really comprehend how influential he was until going to Europe back in May. HE'S EVERYWHERE, there's no escape. Every parish I visited had a statue of him.
May the most holy, most sacred, most adorable, most incomprehensible, and unutterable Name of God be always praised, blessed, loved, adored, and glorified, in Heaven, on earth, and under the earth, by all the creatures of God, and by the Sacred Heart of Our Lord Jesus Christ in the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar. Amen Stop everything! We must pray like never and not be divided! Trust in God be not afraid!🙏
Its interesting, when most Catholics think of Dominicans they tend to think of or mention St Thomas Aquinas almost automatically. But for me I have always associated them with the fiery and zealous St. Dominic himself. "Hounds of God, setting fire to the earth..."
To answer the Friars Question about any reforms within the Benedictines their are several. Of the major reforms there were the Cluniacs, from the Cluniacs came the Cistercians and also the Camauldolese, from the Cistercians came the Trappists and then the have been numerous other reforms or restorations of monasteries throughout history of minor degrees.
Jesus is whit the Muslims the most oppressed while our abrahmic brothers grow their belly fat whit our blood watch when he comes back which side he will be on
