I saw Steve Earle and the dukes at a little place called OT Prices Music hall probably one of the best shows I’ve ever been too
So much feeling in this version. What an artist Steve Earle is. And the Dukes. :)))
Beautiful. A work of art Guy would've appreciated. Thanks Steve.
The man Steve Earle. Fantastic.
speechless ..
Jerry Jeff Walker cover. One of my favorite songs
Lovely song, beautifully played.
Oh mercy. This is a treasure.
Without gettin' killed or caught. Love this song.
I've heard (and performed) this song hundreds of times, but this performance still feels fresh and honest in every way. Beautiful job, and thank you to everyone involved in this recording! :)
Paxpaul, I agree. With tremendous respect for Guy and Jerry Jeff and all others, this version is just right.
god bless Guy. God bless Steve.
Guy would be damn proud.
Wonderful. Looking forward to the album.
Fitting. Inside the limits of Guy's version, but Steve's phrasing all the way.
Sublime.
Looking through the news and this came up, made my freakin afternoon!
So beautiful ♥
I always thought that Jerry Jeff wrote this. guess not. His version was the first one I heard.
So True!
@@lindastacey2379 In 2000 I got oFreeway the LA (Pasadena) Freeway and moved to Sacramento. Smartest thing I ever did.
I never seem to get tired of Steve Earle's bluegrass voice.
Bluegrass voice? His raspy voice is rock'n'roll through and through.
seems he did a towns and now a guy record....
