yah only an elf can see all the hidden meanings in this mv. like dongahae's room is all blue which i think symbolizes the cold / loneliness he always feel. Even the empty picture frame in yesung's room which I think symbolizes as he feel that people don't recognize him, his popularity is his issue. Heechul is the tv bec of his popularity in variety w/c has a good and bad effect. Leeteuk, the fire for being too hard for himself (the member always talk about this). Siwon, the camera's who's always focusing on him w/c people only see him as the model type idol and not the really him. For Eunhyuk and Shindong I don't get that much the rain and the entrance sign. Well said. Cannot agree more. It’s always sad for me to see some other new generations’ group fans said Super Junior and the other groups in the 2nd generation is such a old group and whatever. Well..when this song was made and recorded, Siwon was still in his military service. Maybe that's why he has small portion in this song. Actually, Heechul wants this song as their new album title track but donghae said he just want to make the MV of this song together with the other SJ members...^^
I think every corridor represents what they do/feel, or what they're working for in real life. For example Siwon, all those papparazzi flashes represents his/their glamorous life under the name Super Junior. And then Heechul's corridor with lots of TV represents his/most members' activities in variety shows. And then Shindong's corridor represents the businesses each member has (shindong once had a internet-cafe business). For Yesung, I think the doors represents a lot of opportunity that he hasn't yet to open, or maybe his doubts about his paths in music career. As for donghae, leeteuk, and hyukjae... I'm not sure tho. But I think their corridors have deeper meanings (maybe Hyukjae's rain as sadness..?) Well. It's just me and my theories. Lol.

To be honest, this was the first kpop ballad song that made me cry, ever. There was something about it. I've listened to a lot of kpop these 5-6 years. Also a lot from Super Junior. I don't like ballads that much to be honest. But in this I heard some raw emotion while some where singing. Something that I haven't heard before from Super Junior. It was like a message that a lot can relate to, while you don't even have to listen to the lyrics (or read the translation). About the MV: there were a couple of scenes that didn't seem acted. I'm not talking about tears running down faces, but just a couple of small scenes. And if we're talking about theories about this MV: I think the fire represents burning away thing or everything you have known. When it's burning you know you won't ever get it back, because it's reduced to ashes. It is a very empty feeling.

Wooo i think i watch this video too late, but i wanted to tell you something that i read about just 3 of the members were running. The text that i hope you read it's originally in Spanish, i tried to translate it, hope i did it well. All credits go to IrisBlue_ELF on Wattpad. I think that the girl with the white dress, very important the color, represents the member's dreams of keeping high the name of Super Junior because being a group with more than a decade, in a particular way they're not so attractive to the new generations. Donghae in the MV: He represents all SJ members, actives or not, that's why he's the first one to appear. Instead, the other members symbolize intrinsic and extrinsic aspects of Super Junior. Donghae open the first door that represents'One More Chance'. While he walks by the alley to it, he is not melancholic or overwhelmed, because he's going to his new chance that will drive him to his girl with white dress, his dream. The scene changes and show us Leeteuk, he looks confused and hurt. For me, our leader represents the injuries Super Junior has received through their career, through different facts like can't include 2 members in their Comeback, the hate Sungmin received because of his marriage, and others that if i mention, will become in a very long list. Then Yesung appears, he's in a repetitive scenario; the same art, the same door, the same chair, over and over again. Yesung represents a period of doubt, fear, undecided times, without knowing which way they have to choose, because no matter how many doors he open, he can't find a way out. Siwon represents the artistic and public life of Super Junior, surrounded by cameras, always wearing his best suit, without stop following his girl with white dress obviously. In Shindong's alley there's something particular and it's that is flooded by a light layer of smoke, this smoke represents this smoke represents the passing desires of wealth and ephemeral pleasures that they once as a group had. Shindong, in short words, represents the mistakez SJ have made, beacuse come on, they are humans, and it's on our nature mess up. Heechul represents Super Junior's past, their twelve years together where it includes their good and bad times, their fights, failures and challenges, not just the group, but all the member's as well. That's why the alley have TV's that are connected to old VHS. After the scene of Heechul, Donghae, Leeteuk and Yesung they're still opening doors -One More Chance-, and Siwon's still walking behind his girl. All of them are moving in, without losing their objective, until Donghae appears again with another suit. In this scene, Donghae is no loger representing Super Junior members, instead he symbolizes the hope and illusion that moves SJ. Donghae walks to a dark place, unknown, that it's untrue, like some kind of basement of a building, place that represents the doubts and fears that the members had about their comeback, which they exposed in their program SJReturns, he doesn't stop, he keeps walking. And finally, after almost half MV, Hyukjae appears with his rap. Hyukjae it's under the rain, rain that represents the forgiveness and the cleaning of the soul. It's important to see that it's THE ONLY alley that's illuminated and that in its door have a window where the Sun can be seen, the light at the end of the alley -the one Donghae was walking in the scene before-. Then, Hyukjae represents a nee beginning for SuJu, one where they can heal their past injuries (Leeteuk and Heechul), ask for forgiveness because of their committed mistakes (Shindong), forget the bad moments (Siwon), leave begind the doubts (Yesung) and, with hope (Donghae), they walk to their new chance. But, if we look, the scene with Hyukjae in his raining alley, is opposed in the MV with the scene of Leeteuk in his alley, now covered in flames. This scenes are super important,i bet to say that they represebf the reason of or the climax, not just if the video, but the lyrics of the song, because Leeteuk, at this point, represent Super Junior as the leader of the group, and the fire, that it's generally taken as something negatuve, here symbolises a transformation, a change. Both of them appear, because both are the main pillars of SJ. Leeteuk as their leader and Hyukjae, who became a pillar when he assumed the lead of SuJu during the militar service of the older one (Leeteuk). The next scene where the VHS are on the wet floor in the middle of the fire, represents the way Super Junior choose, using their past, their doubts, fears and achievements as an incentive to mare their comeback as a one more chance, that will lead them to their dream of keep promoting under the name of Super Junior. Then this transformation makes Donghae (the hope) get out of the dark basement and see the light. The hope makes the other members decide to run, run behind his dream as well. Again, Yesung appears, he's no longer in the repetitive scenario, because, even he doesn't know what the future holds for him exactly, he's no longer afraid or confused. Yesung, with Han river next to hum, represents the good times that are coming to Super Junior. SJ believes in that good times, because Yesung run as well with all his strength y the other ones move on with firm steps to the end doors, to their One More Chance. Super Junior will not give up, because Donghae found his girl with white dress, his purest and honest dream at the sea's shore. The sea is the symbol of luck and success. Donghae don't get close to the girl, he leaves a distance between them, because he know that with this comeback he will not reach it, he has to follow her for more years, until Super Junior is the last man on feet.

Just found out that it was Shindong who directed this masterpiece. Donghae (who doesn't want to be noticed) wrote the lyrics and Eunhyuk added the rap part. They are really a multi-talented group of men.
KRY ballads are amazing (idk how much you know super junior but its one of their subgroup consisting of kyuhyun and ryeowook, who are in the army rn, and yesung) and there are also a lot of ballad tracks on super junior albums that are really good. Sadly KRY dont have a korean album so far but they actually have a lot of songs esp OSTs and they are really great!
So yeah, it's just because this ballad is sooo good. There's no need further explanation hahaha anyway, i love siwon's theme as well because he's different than the others. While the others had too much going on, with the color, tv, i mean it's not bad, but i just expected something more to the story. This song has a deep meaning and you can feel the emotion. But the mv, not so much. I expected something that could tell the story more. Overall, i love this song more than the mv.

Actually, this is what i hate about SM productions in general. Like they're just making a music video without a story-story. I mean, look at Seventeen and all the stories within stories within stories of all their songs and music videos, SM videos are just plain and simple in comparison... All Super Junior music videos had just been exactly what PD said, "Let's just make a music video for this." It's a huge upgrade to their usual boxed set-up (which I'm afraid will be what's happening with Black Suit, hopefully not), but they could do better. And this is why PD's reactions to my favorite groups is so important for me. They open my eyes to a lot of stuff, and they make me judge these things objectively. I've been an ELF for 9 years, so this comeback means so much. SJ Label and SM is doing a lot for Super Junior, so I hope they deliver for this comeback.
I actually can see the story.. They are telling about themselves.. Heechul always face problems and goes on TV a LOT, yesung is between doors, he is still finding the door to show himself.. EiEmAMR fourteenseventeen it not so good for me, since they are comeback on the same date, especially for multifandom fans, even they can make multitape account to support both group, it will take less time to support each group. And ofcourse the matyer of the winner, if they both get nominatiom on music show, onlu one of them will win, suju either seventeen. One of them will almostly don't get the winning trophy, since they are the most famous and have biggest fandom for this november comeback.

I'm not sure but Dnghae said that this song was made to showcase the different colors of SUJU so that might explain the difference in visuals of the sets, like how Siwon's has an elegant and cool feel to it coz that is how he really is. I hope this helped.

Wooo i think i watch this video too late, but i wanted to tell you something that i read about just 3 of the members were running. The text that i hope you read it's originally in Spanish, i tried to translate it, hope i did it well.

I think that the girl with the white dress, very important the color, represents the member's dreams of keeping high the name of Super Junior because being a group with more than a decade, in a particular way they're not so attractive to the new generations.
Donghae in the MV:
He represents all SJ members, actives or not, that's why he's the first one to appear. Instead, the other members symbolize intrinsic and extrinsic aspects of Super Junior.
Donghae open the first door that represents'One More Chance'. While he walks by the alley to it, he is not melancholic or overwhelmed, because he's going to his new chance that will drive him to his girl with white dress, his dream.
The scene changes and show us Leeteuk, he looks confused and hurt. For me, our leader represents the injuries Super Junior has received through their career, through different facts like can't include 2 members in their Comeback, the hate Sungmin received because of his marriage, and others that if i mention, will become in a very long list.
Then Yesung appears, he's in a repetitive scenario; the same art, the same door, the same chair, over and over again. Yesung represents a period of doubt, fear, undecided times, without knowing which way they have to choose, because no matter how many doors he open, he can't find a way out.
Siwon represents the artistic and public life of Super Junior, surrounded by cameras, always wearing his best suit, without stop following his girl with white dress obviously.
In Shindong's alley there's something particular and it's that is flooded by a light layer of smoke, this smoke represents this smoke represents the passing desires of wealth and ephemeral pleasures that they once as a group had. Shindong, in short words, represents the mistakez SJ have made, beacuse come on, they are humans, and it's on our nature mess up.
Heechul represents Super Junior's past, their twelve years together where it includes their good and bad times, their fights, failures and challenges, not just the group, but all the member's as well. That's why the alley have TV's that are connected to old VHS.
After the scene of Heechul, Donghae, Leeteuk and Yesung they're still opening doors -One More Chance-, and Siwon's still walking behind his girl. All of them are moving in, without losing their objective, until Donghae appears again with another suit.
In this scene, Donghae is no loger representing Super Junior members, instead he symbolizes the hope and illusion that moves SJ.
Donghae walks to a dark place, unknown, that it's untrue, like some kind of basement of a building, place that represents the doubts and fears that the members had about their comeback, which they exposed in their program SJReturns, he doesn't stop, he keeps walking.
And finally, after almost half MV, Hyukjae appears with his rap.
Hyukjae it's under the rain, rain that represents the forgiveness and the cleaning of the soul. It's important to see that it's THE ONLY alley that's illuminated and that in its door have a window where the Sun can be seen, the light at the end of the alley -the one Donghae was walking in the scene before-. Then, Hyukjae represents a nee beginning for SuJu, one where they can heal their past injuries (Leeteuk and Heechul), ask for forgiveness because of their committed mistakes (Shindong), forget the bad moments (Siwon), leave begind the doubts (Yesung) and, with hope (Donghae), they walk to their new chance.
But, if we look, the scene with Hyukjae in his raining alley, is opposed in the MV with the scene of Leeteuk in his alley, now covered in flames.
This scenes are super important,i bet to say that they represebf the reason of or the climax, not just if the video, but the lyrics of the song, because Leeteuk, at this point, represent Super Junior as the leader of the group, and the fire, that it's generally taken as something negatuve, here symbolises a transformation, a change.
Both of them appear, because both are the main pillars of SJ. Leeteuk as their leader and Hyukjae, who became a pillar when he assumed the lead of SuJu during the militar service of the older one (Leeteuk).
The next scene where the VHS are on the wet floor in the middle of the fire, represents the way Super Junior choose, using their past, their doubts, fears and achievements as an incentive to mare their comeback as a one more chance, that will lead them to their dream of keep promoting under the name of Super Junior.
Then this transformation makes Donghae (the hope) get out of the dark basement and see the light. The hope makes the other members decide to run, run behind his dream as well.
Again, Yesung appears, he's no longer in the repetitive scenario, because, even he doesn't know what the future holds for him exactly, he's no longer afraid or confused. Yesung, with Han river next to hum, represents the good times that are coming to Super Junior.
SJ believes in that good times, because Yesung run as well with all his strength y the other ones move on with firm steps to the end doors, to their One More Chance.
Super Junior will not give up, because Donghae found his girl with white dress, his purest and honest dream at the sea's shore. The sea is the symbol of luck and success.
Donghae don't get close to the girl, he leaves a distance between them, because he know that with this comeback he will not reach it, he has to follow her for more years, until Super Junior is the last man on feet.
I love this so much and I love Heechul even more.

So yeah, it's just because this ballad is sooo good. There's no need further explanation hahaha anyway, i love siwon's theme as well because he's different than the others. While the others had too much going on, with the color, tv, i mean it's not bad, but i just expected something more to the story. This song has a deep meaning and you can feel the emotion. But the mv, not so much. I expected something that could tell the story more. Overall, i love this song more than the mv.

Actually, this is what i hate about SM productions in general. Like they're just making a music video without a story-story. I mean, look at Seventeen and all the stories within stories within stories of all their songs and music videos, SM videos are just plain and simple in comparison... All Super Junior music videos had just been exactly what PD said, "Let's just make a music video for this." It's a huge upgrade to their usual boxed set-up (which I'm afraid will be what's happening with Black Suit, hopefully not), but they could do better.
And this is why PD's reactions to my favorite groups is so important for me. They open my eyes to a lot of stuff, and they make me judge these things objectively. I've been an ELF for 9 years, so this comeback means so much. SJ Label and SM is doing a lot for Super Junior, so I hope they deliver for this comeback.
I actually can see the story.. They are telling about themselves.. Heechul always face problems and goes on TV a LOT, yesung is between doors, he is still finding the door to show himself.. Siwon always surround by media but he isnt actually want it..especially by this time where he facing this problem..I dont know maybe, its just me..
