Can someone please explain to me how a candle can cost 400+ dollars and how is it different from the candles that you can buy for 5, 10 or 20 dollars etc.? It's a genuine question and my intention is not being rude i am just really confused, cause that's a new way of wasting your money for something that is not even a longterm investment. The purpose of both candles is the same and they perform the same. Therefore how is one of them worth 400$? I understand that some people can affort it and treat themselves to it but whats the point??
A a candle user and collector for 30 years, all candles definitely do not perform the same. Cheap candles do not burn properly, do not burn clean, do not have appropriate scent strength nor throw, etc. You definitely do not have to pay $400 for a good performing candle, but to claim a $5 or $10 candle is the same as a more expensive candle couldn't be further from the truth. A giant 5 wick candle is a very different experience, and you can use it for a very long time. Many people also have no idea how to burn candles right, which is why those people usually have a dirty tunneled candle with poor scent performance.

It is mainly marketing. With that being said, a cheap candle will have inferior ingredients, especially fragrance and packaging. A moderately priced candle can have good ingredients. The most expensive candles, such as those from big brands like Gucci, will have high-quality candles, excellent packaging, and well-designed, expensive fragrances, but most of the price is for branding directed to the market they are trying to reach. It is the same as any other product such as handbags, they are selling exclusivity and a perception of luxury.
I have to say, I was so excited to have you back and thought we would genuinely have some old Kristina back but you’re just back to market your product and it’s just not what I am into. I do wish you luck but I’m just not enjoying the content anymore.
