Sir, a question, I have one the same but the fault is that it does not turn on easily so that it turns on all close the switch and open it again and there is if it turns on and does not hold at idle, it is necessary to have it accelerated or if it does not turn off, it fails or what damage could it be? to have
I have an 08 DS450 and noticed a lot of noise from the camshaft chain side of the engine. Took it to a dealer and they did an oil pressure check and measured 30 psi at idle (should be 12 psi). They're telling me the oil passages are blocked and aren't providing oil pressure needed to tension the cam chain making it very noisy from the chain slapping around. I dont want to pay them to tear the engine apart and would rather do it myself. As someone who is familiar with these DS450s what would you do? Is it possible to clear the passages? Thanks
I haven't torn into it yet but it should be something that can be done with some thin wire, carb cleaner and air pressure, I've done it before on other quads
Thank you for making videos on this man💯, seems like no body makes these for this machine and it sucks!🤷🏻♂️
Hey I have the exact same noise what was the problem I can’t figure it out?
Excuse, could't see when you pull out the chain tensioner. In what position does it goes? Thin part aiming to the engine or off the engine?
Flat part towards the chain, thin part towards the bolt

Low compression or clogged fuel system

@@ericmotoworks4792 thanks. I just wonder what I'll find that caused the passage to get plugged.
Is it hard to pull the engine out on these?
Not really just remove parts of the frame and disconnect everything
How did u get the nuts off on the head that sits on the clutch side .. its hard for me to get a wrench on it
Regular oil is good or no?
There is a filter screen in the oil tank you have to check
Ever get the parts?
my motor on my ds450 just locked up the same way
How Can i contact u?
