We listened to this song few days ago at night under the sky full of stars. I saw 2 shooting stars and it was just magical. Endless love for this song, Tom. And for you too.
I dedicated this song to my boyfriend Daniel when we first started dating. Our first date was at our favorite park under the stars and i just remember his hand holding mine as we layed on the grass talking about our lives and how we wanted to be together. For Christmas i was left home alone and i ran a fever but he was able to spend the entire time at my house, it was just the two of us in our own little world all cuddled up and we had this song playing that night. This song is special bc this is the first relationship where everything is so different, its beautiful, honest and scary all at once. But almost a year later we are still coming out any situation in each others arms and this song is just perfect...let me just tell u guys out there! Love is real, and its not perfect or what u wr brought up for it to be like, its honesty and loving eachother day in and day out, all the calls, all the support and happy moments and sad moments. Love is a never ending journey with ur best friend and its something amazing. ❤

I was laying on the couch next to the patio because it had snowed that day for the first time in years, and all i could think about is her. I had no idea what love was, or anything like that for that matter, i just knew i felt something. For the first time in 14 years i *felt* something. It was such a weird feeling, i felt happy, yet sad because it scared me to like someone more than they probably would ever like me back. Despite being scared, despite being unsure, despite being so young, and so naive, i knew one thing; that if i continued to live from that day, i only want to with her. Im not sure why but i felt so connected to her without even knowing her. Id often hear from family or friends that i’m “too young” and that i should “live life” yet to me, she was my life. 1 week turned into 1 month, and 1 month turned into 1 year, and 1 year turned into 7. She was my air, my peace, my normal. And every second i spent with her, i realized more and more what love really is. Love isnt the feeling you get when she’s around, it’s the feeling you still have when she leaves. The feeling you still have even if she makes you mad, or even if she continues to do wrong. It’s the feeling you have when you’ve run out of patience, and when you’ve grown tired of arguing. It’s the feeling when you have no more energy to deal with the bad things, yet for some reason, you still do. And when you want to quit, you give it one more day, and you try one more time. It’s the constant one-more-time’s, not because you’ve accept the bad, but because the people y’all are in this very moment, isn’t worth the life you *could* have. Well after 7 years, she grew tired of the one-more-times. We ignored our problems and we let them develop into something she no longer wanted to heal. She told me things that hurt so much, and it’s like i no longer recognize the girl i fell in love with. I still love her with all of me, and for some reason, if she came back, i wouldn’t hesitate to marry her. But she isn’t coming back. Not this time. Listening to this song is so bittersweet. It’s the closest thing i have to feeling how i used to feel. When we were kids, and love was easy.
