- Today we are doing my BIRTHDAY HAIR! So I bought some curly hair from @iseehair and decided to do a flip over method sew-in on my TWA. But first, I am going to do an unboxing of the hair that I purchased, see details below. Then you will see me prep my natural hair and give myself a trim. Thank you for commenting! And this would make a great protective style! I love sew-ins and want to get back to them. Main thing is if you want to maintain your natural pattern, avoid wearing textures that require you to straighten your hair.

At the beach you need CONDITIONER and Water! Dont put nothing else on it. Kinky curly is high maintenance but it gets easy. I only wear kinky curly for the past 8yrs. Im still using the same bundles(private label hair)from 2017.

Thanks! And yeah, the problem is that when it came time to detangle the hair was completely matted at the root. No mater how much conditioner was used those tangles could not come out. And I love sewins, I used to wear strictly kinky curly sewins before I started shaving my hair off, so I’m not new to the kinky curly hairstyling. This is the first time that I had it tangled so bad and I didn’t even go to the beach yet😭😭, I had only made it to the pool and I had to take it out before the end of my vacation. Like I was combing it so much that my real hair was starting to hurt. That’s how I knew I had to find a way to take it out lol

Question please, do you sew it to the net or to the braids underneath?
Hey! Thank you for watching, I saw it to the net itself. That’s what helps reduce the tension on your hair and scalp. And it also helps you fit more bundles in there.
I like that method, you’re the 3rd person I seen put the longer length at the top..why is that?
Thanks. And that’s because I want the hair to have full ends. When you do different lengths with a shorter length at the top it creates more of a layered look, but then the ends can end up being thin. So I will put the longest on the top of get all the same length.
