Have some balls.
A year later and you're going to finally get an answer: The short answer is that the H&B Team were hired to do *their* work. Plain and simple. If you commission an artist to draw something for you, they're going to do it in their own personal style, not the style of someone else who probably costs about 3x as much. I have dealt with those kinds of customers, and I don't take their money as a result. Now, with that said, yes, GW could technically afford better. But for better animation projects that won't break the bank, they need people to come to them with their ideas, and a short demo of what they intend to do. If you have a story idea, a script, and an animation team, then you could approach GW with the idea and maybe get it approved. Maybe. Now, this isn't me sucking up to GW, I don't work for them, I just enjoy the hobby and the stories we do get through H&B and the other animations (like Iron Within or The Exodite). You're free to disagree with me all you want, but what draws me in isn't the animation, it's the story being told. And frankly, the stories are usually good enough they could hold up even when being told with MS Paint Stick Figures. Now, as for expectations... A lot of people expected to get animations akin to Astartes when W+ was first announced. Obviously, we haven't gotten that, but I would argue that what we got was actually better... because we got choices. If you like short stories that are told using an animated comic book style approach? H&B has ya covered. Do you want to see some epic battles both in space and on the ground, all happening in the background as a plucky team try to fight their way through it all? Exodite. The list goes on, and likely will continue to go on. But there is one truth at the end of all this: The people behind the animations aren't having to fight over a few pennies that RUclips gives them. They now have a steady income, making the very stories they want to tell, in a format they're skilled in. You simply could not have asked for a better outcome than this. How many artists and animators get hired on by some big studio, only to be told they can't express their creative freedoms because the studio they work for calls all the shots?

This.
space wolves are by far my favorite space marine chapter and faction in 40k, I love the who Norse feel of them. I wish there was more animations for them. I'm guessing it's because of the fact that they have the most aesthetics such as furs and totems and usually don't wear helmets, makes them harder to animate or do a cinematic
Did I just hear Dawn of War 2 Bolter sounds at the end?
Not sure how to feel about thar
See that charge at the end? That was decent animation. That means they CAN make something good! GW just CHOOSES to not make it good.
I take it you havent seen Exodite yet then lol
@@I3erzerker I have, actually. That one was amazing and can't wait for the next episode. That space battle was so good, too. However, my comment is about Hammer and Bolter so I'm not sure where Exodite has anything to do with my comment.
@@stringstorm different animation team. Each team was brought on for their skill sets, and story telling. And as someone who's done commission work, being hired on to do work that's on the par of someone more expensive is damn near sickening.
2 beard guy's voice reminds me maraad's voice from wow
Playing it at speed 1.75 makes it feel like it has more frames and more fluid
1:17 that picture is shooting at them!
The animation hurts me so much.
Honestly i kinda like the show, well atleast the characters, voice acting, and the story not the animation but it does get a lot more better in other episodes
by the fang!
So this is the great Ragnar Blackman that slayed ghazkull mag Uruk thraka
Looks fine to me
I thought astartes could only ascend pre puberty as children
al fin los lobos espaciales llegamos jajajajajaajajajajaajajajajaaja
The animation style reminds me a lot of Metalocalypse.
They are laughing because they know the animation is so bad.
Staying true to the spirit of the legion.
With Angels of Death on Wahammer+, I actually would like to see how Blood Angels recruit their Marines
Read DANTE that will tell you all you need to know.
@@reddrascal0124 that is one of the best books I’ve read. You feel so bad for Dante.
This reminds me of death clock
I love the Space Wolves. They are the most unspace marine space marines ever. It’s like giving a bunch of football hooligans assault rifles and telling the to sort shit out. Football hooligans that though are extremely violent and actually have a moral core. I suppose that kind of excludes Leeds United and West Ham. Imagine a films such as Greenstreet instead of having football fans they are Space Wolves.
Well they are chaos space marines loyal to the Emperor.
lmao they used sfx straight from Dawn of War 2.
They just put through what hell who knows what so they can play chess the sons of leman russ are complicated.
What if there's an actual animation of Scout Marines.
The animation reminds me of something from GTA TV
FOR THE FANG! FOR THE ROUT! FOR MY WOLF LORD! FOR THE GREAT WOLF AND THE FALLFATHER!
Arcane is the standard bearer.
is there more ? XD
Anyone know the name of the music playing in background
the display of the wolves is just completly wrong here ... what the fuck GW?
where are the yellow witcher eyes? where are the deformed mouths that make them more wolf like?
Vlka Fenryka are my favorite.
Pretty sure the gunshot noises at the end were just recycles from DOW 2
beware of orc snipers
BEEP BEEP Not enough framerates.
It may be the shitty GW animations....buuuut it is nice seeing my favorite chapter animated
Preach.
which faction is this? Chaos or Imperium?
@@mustafaaydnkarayel4768 Space Wolves. Loyalists.
This series may be mostly crap
But seeing any actual depiction of the Space Wolves is always a plus for me
ok so Ulrik is with the Aspirant. And that's Krom and Njall. Who's the 3rd at the table?
There is an animated show in warhammer?!
Something about those marines running just feels so off
They took sounds from Dawn of War 2
La música de fondo es épica, que género es rayos la necesito descargar
