I actually randomly ate this sandwich at a KFC in 2010. It was pretty good but I hated that it doesn’t have any bun
It's something to be eaten at home where you can jump straight in the shower after.
Lol. The double down. I remember when it first came out. They said it's so big you can't eat more then one. I ate that and wanted more. They were much much bigger in the States than in Canada.

I really wish I could say I like KFC, but the KFC in my city is notoriously bad and I've been avoiding them for more than a decade at this point. Every time I go back to try and give them another chance, I get overpriced tiny pieces of chicken with greasy flavourless breading that have no crisp to them and I always end up feeling kind of sick after I eat it. Not food poisoning sick but just... weird. Like there's too much grease and my body is like. "WTF DID YOU JUST EAT?"
You need to find a better KFC!
@@JFRJesse we only have the one. All others are hours out of town and I don't have a car or money to catch a greyhound just to go get KFC. LOL

Nah this one SUCKS compared to the 2010 original, nothing beats it... this new one doesn't even have KFC's Original Recipe flavored chicken on it... and it's cut way too THICK and SHORT, they really screwed it up...homemade is better than this crap

@@JFRJesse I don't know if you ever had the original from back then, but I've been waiting for them to bring it back properly and they never have... just poor imitations! But I get it, anything with chicken bacon and cheese can't be half bad. But the original was a masterpiece.
@@BigSplenda1885 I did get it once, but I was drinking at the time, haha. I only remember that I liked it. I can't remember the sauce on there.
I tried this. The first restaurant ran out of bacon... I slowly backed out of their Drive Thru to hit the other one. I asked for extra sauce and for a combo with poutine. Didn't really get to taste the extra sauce or wasn't enough. Was very well with a poutine but chicken was rather small. Not sure if I would get it again for $17. But it was good.

I like KFC and I like trying "shock foods" but even I said no to the double down 10 years ago and will pass again. Even a once in a lifetime thing I can't do it lol. I once remember trying a loaded mash with bacon and butter and cheese I think at a pub years ago and my body said "stop" way too much intake of fat salt and grease after a several bites. Glad you enjoyed it though.

Nice work really surprised about the price over there in Canada our one in Australia costs $9 which is about 8.50 Canadian. They seem to have them on the menu every year in Australia

@@JFRJesse update: I just had it and I agree it was awesome - did look smaller than the ads and commercials but the taste and flavour were more than enough and I was full regardless… Vitamin G (grease) baby! Time to hit the gym tomorrow 😂

I think because I got there right after they opened all the chicken was fresh! It was my microwave clock, it may have been off a bit!

KFC in the U.S is much better than other countries for sure..I live in asian country the KFC here sucks..not going to eat those crap again,Turns out Texas chicken is so much better nowdays! Also marrybrown and A&W..
