“I’m quite lazy when it comes to my routine” girl!?! Look it how much you’ve switched it up this year alone, but with a 1 year old, AND giving us amazing content! Not lazy, time efficient!
I love perfect curls. Finger cooling takes me an hour but the results are so worth it! Because it clumps the curls all the way down to the ends, it protects my hair from breakage and tangles much more than just a wash n go. Edit: DAMN I have VERY thick and very high density 3c hair and I can’t believe you can get these results in 20 minutes!! ❤️
@@MiVidaBellisima I tried it for the first time last night. It also took an hour. But that SHINE AND DEFINITION that came after is uncomparable. My hands might have muscles after every wash day
I have 3b coarse hair for 4 people and it’s down to my tail bone when stretched. Mid back when dry. The amount of time it would take me to finger oil would be insanity
I have 3b high density curly hair and it takes me 2 hours. I do think it’s worth it and I absolutely love doing it. God bless you all, Jesus loves you 💜
I always finger coil. It’s worth the hassle to avoid the frizz. The first day or two can survive and the days after you can separate that coils and spray with water or a curl refresher to extend the wear with a style that’s more wild and curly.
Yes finger coiling is my favorite method! It helps me avoid so many fairy knots even after I separate. 🙌🏾 Plus I never have to refresh during the week. Apply all my products, take the extra time out of one day and will be good for up to two weeks sometimes for me! Type 4 low porosity hair btw!
I've been finger coiling my curls for years because if i just scrunch my hair with product it becomes VERY frizzy, So finger coiling locks in the moister for me. Everyone also says i look like a little china doll because my curls are always perfect ringlets and i also have curly bangs so ♥
So I loved this collab, but it definitely reinforces that I’m not an “all or nothing” kind of gal for my curly hair routine. I like the best of both worlds with definition and volume, so I use a brush to quickly brush product through, sometimes I denman, but then I only finger coil my front pieces around my face! I get decent definition, where at least the front looks good for DAYS, but I still manage to keep some volume overall AND doesn’t take quite as much time as finger coiling all over!
I love to finger coil my hair. Especially when my hair was shorter. I also have fine hair. The one thing I do different (which adds more time😬) is I go back and separate some of the coils. It will give me the volume I’m looking for. Just put a very light weight oil on my hands and then separate them. You’re hair is beautiful both ways💕
I'm definitely team definition... My hair gets super volume naturally and gets bigger every day. Lazy styling is definitely a privilege...i disagree, though... Tight (er) curl patterns highly benefit from finger coiling or shingling... 20 minutes to style is still quick...
My normal routine is your lazy method lol...but since you and Chloe's tips I still do the lazy method, and I now mix in the finger coil for the problem areas that frizz like underneath and by my temples! ☺️
Finger coiling does take longer but it’s done two things for me. First because I’m just a few months past my 1 yr post relaxer mark and did not want to big chop, it’s trained those ends past my demarcation line to actually curl and curl well! Second I’m in respiratory therapy school and am insanely busy so I do this in my Sunday wash day and my refreshes in the morning throughout the week literally take me 5 minutes (if that) so spending the 20-30 minutes extra on Sunday gets me out the door much quicker the rest of the week. Also the volume grows with each day without having to sacrifice the definition. I also find Curlsmith weightless leave in paired with the hold me softly balm work crazy well together for those of us who don’t like too much crunch.
Ok first of all your makeup is ON POINT!!!! 😍😍😍 second of all I am sooooo happy you finally tried finger coiling!! It looks so gorgeous! I definitely finger coil every wash day and it does last all week!! I can’t go without it! If you do it next time try separating those super curly coils and it will give you crazy volume!! 😍😍😍
I have tried finger coiling but only in the areas of my hair that are more stubborn and needed some "training". I did it for a little bit and now they no longer seem to need it as much so this could be a temporary option for dry frizzy or damaged areas, or when you are transitioning. ;) Now I get to be lazy and still get good results 😂
Thanks for this video ❤️ I've got 3b hair and finger coiling is life for me! My wash days take longer but it means I only wash my hair once a week (it actually could last longer but mid week washes are abit awkward for me because of my schedule) xxx
This video is so helpful because it shows the importance of understanding your hair texture! Between you, Chloe, Jackie, Chelli - I have no clue where my hair fits in. Let alone the different techniques, and then personal preference?? Lawd, let me just wear a bun and be done... Thank you for this content!! So helpful!
I tend to get better results with finger coiling but I don't do it as often as I'd like because it's so time-consuming. I have a lot of hair and more similar to Chloe (high porosity, color-treated, course and 3a). I will sometimes finger coil the front because I have some wonky curls that got damaged back from back in the day when I did a Brazilian keratin hair treatment. Either way, I think both your results look great! Always fun to try out new techniques :)
My routine is something between yours and Cloy's. I apply products just like you do and then I finger coil some of my hair mostly on the route. And this is how I get definition and volume together! I love you both!! You guy's are adorable!! Thank you for all these videos!!❤
Yup! This will be my next switch it up try for sure! Only 20 minutes too?? You may be more of a pro at this than you think girl! Lol! Thanks for trying all this new stuff for us Bianca! This year's challenge is definitely one that will get many of us to master our routines! It's Genius! 👌🏽
I have been finger coiling my whole life and it I find it faster by using the 2 hand method. Using both hands to finger coil is way faster than one hand.
Omg. I always found finger coiling so hard. My fingers kept getting caught on my hair all the time. Idk how Chloe does it sooo flawlessly. Also, thank you Bianca for that little hack on finger coiling😢😭 Your hair loooks sooo good😍
I loved the side by side demo! Please do more of these! I am a lazy curly as well, but when I first saw Chloe’s finger coiling method and results, I decided to try it! My curls looked AMAZING, but after doing a few, I just knew I didn’t have the time for my whole head. 😅My curls are naturally super defined and look great without this HOWEVER I do love this for REFRESHING especially super wonky curls and frizzy areas. This is the go 👏🏽 to 👏🏽 way I refresh, especially when traveling, for bringing crazy curls (more like frizzy globs) back to life!!!
gurrrl i just did this on my 3a/3b hair and- wowwww my curls are so pretty!!! it took me so damn long bc i have super long hair (it covers my butt a little bit) but omg!!!!!! from now on this is gonna be a step in my routine so thank you for showing us chloe's routine (and thanks to chloe too)!! 😍😍
You look fabulous!!! I will have to agree that I prefer you with your usual routine, but this turned out really pretty if you ever want a different look. Fun video! Headed over to watch her try your routine!!
Loved the video Bianca! When finger coiling if you get stuck add more water or use a super slippery product when styling! You wanna have more slip so you can easily finger coil the strand and not tug on it too much. I’m lazy when it comes to my hair and i only finger coil certain pieces when they’re wonky lol :)
LOVED these two videos with you and Chloe! It was actually super helpful to see how you both slightly adjusted the other routines to fit your hair type. That’s something I always need to remember when copying routines I see on RUclips!
I always finger coil as of now because my 3C/4A hair is stringy (I suspect from past damage and having thinning shears used during a recent hair cut). I actually can get a lot of volume with finger coiling on days 3 or 4 depending on which products I use. I usually don't use strong gels, so I get less of a cast and they expand out more. I love how your ringlets came out and the makeup is bomb!
#TeamDefinition. I rake my styler through to combat frizz. I also stretch my hair while it’s damp to reduce shrinkage. That’s my new “switch it up” process.
I’ve been using my Curlsmith only since January (for my mix it up challenge) looove the shampoo! 💙 Really like your makeup today, love the eyeshadow! 🤎
I'm a little bit of both. But I use the Miche Beauty products and the leather wood brush. The best curls and volume. Also have you heard of the ragg method? This girl did it on RUclips and it came out really pretty when she separated them on her 4c hair.
I know chloe didn't do this, but I dare you to do this again but with vinyl gloves!!! You can tell the difference on how the hair wraps around your finger. I would love to hear your thoughts in that🥰. Your curls came out BEAUTIFUL!!
1st - Shadow is goin AUF! 2nd - I, too, have fine 3c hair, and I'm glad to see that it's not just me who didn't necessarily benefit from finger coiling. Great video, gal!
Your hair looks gorgeous!! Finger coiling takes me foreverrrr but I LOVEEEE it! My hair last longer & there's less frizzies! Actually, I finally got successful finger coils from watching Chloe after you guys did that giveaway collab around Christmas! Thanks!!!!🥰
Hi Bianca, i'm totally team definition and okay with the volume showing up on day 2 or 3. Loved the video. ❤❤. I'll be switching it up next wash day and try finger coiling.
This is similar to me. I can’t do wash and go’s because I am 4c which I am so jealous of. I have to do twist outs so I know the pain of how long it takes. Awesome that you guys did this. Shows the importance of experimenting with technique
Definitely could never finish doing my hair if I finger coil 😅😅 but will for sure try it at least on my bangs area because that part usually looses the definition super quickly
I did this method up to yesterday. I love how it makes my curls super defined but it takes too long and when it's time for me to wash my hair gets tangled easily. Oh n the shrinkage for me is real lol.
I’ve done this before but took HOURS LOL so now I just finger coil my front curls and on my crown for volume and definition 😭 doing it in sections kinda helps
I was in Dom Rep last year and got two wash and go’s at two salons and they rake and finger coil every curl! The first salon used very heavy products on my hair which was sad but I was not upset, but the second goddess used light weight products and let me tell you her wash and go lasted me 7 days I flew home to Seattle had a doctors appointment next day, and another appointment for our foster kiddo and my hair was amazing! I miss her I need her here in Seattle!
You can take bigger pieces of hair, aand then when your coils have dried properly uncoil and separate the hair. Your curls will still be amazing. Like one does with rag curls. And you can do it on dry hair too, take a lick of each of your preferred hair products and apply on dry hair and coil thereafter.
Daaang! Your curls look amazing! I usually just rake through, but I might try finger coiling (though i also love my quick, lazy routine lol)! I love using Curlsmith products, especially their hydro creme smoothing mask, it's my favorite deep conditioner!
Your hair came out so pretty. I think you could add that to your routine on like a special occasion. I have type 4 hair and the best way that I get definition is to finger coil and shingle. Then once it’s dry I can pick it out for a little volume. My hair is much shorter now so I definitely need to finger coil in the back where it’s the shortest.
Eyeshadow is fire!!! And hair on point! Thanks for this video. I’ve been trying this finger coiling method recently. Haven’t been in love with it though.
Yes the results came out AAAAAmazing! I always wondered what your hair would look like finger coiled and when you would do a routine finally here it is and you did not disappoint! Also cool seeing your curlfriend do her hair beside yours in her video the editing factor here is mind blowing I can only dream to get to that level! I know you have don’t this for quite awhile but as a beginner trying to start a RUclips channel myself editing is no joke I’m still trying to figure it out. But Enjoyed this very much! 👏❤️
Your hair looks amazing! I just rake my product through. So lazy with my hair and I don’t have the patience for finger coiling. I love the Curlsmith products but what is the best way to refresh day 2/3 hair ? I have tried so many ways but my curls always seem to end up really weighed down and not bouncy. I really love your videos and look forward to Sundays ❤️
I haven’t gotten caught up on your videos in like a month so I started watching them I wanna say since this past Friday. I saw how a good shampoo and conditioner just when you shower can make a difference. Also I learned that my hair needs more protein then it needs moisture from one of your other videos. So I tried this technique from this video and also payed attention to your other videos and I really feel like I got a better understanding/technique goin for my hair. My hair was like web like Charlotte just played her home on my head in the shower en then my scalp was mushy, and I had mad frizz like I went tumbling in a dryer. Now my hair looks sooo much better like I actually have definition that lasts. Obviously I have to keep repeating to get it to a healthy state but girrrl I virtual hugs and thank you so very much for your help💜💜💜🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 p.s. I’ll tag you on Instagram after Easter right now I’m fasting 🥰
Today's wash day, I'm eager to try this! I felt meh about the air dry cream, but that was just slapping it on and... air drying. We'll see if it works with this method!
Thank you I have been wanting finger coil so now I see it - enough for me - I love definition but too lazy for that level lol. However will pair the products for my lazy wash and go!
I use to finger coil allllll the time. It kept my hair so moisturized and when they dried and I pulled the apart I use to look like Claudia from Interview With The Vampire. 😂 I haven't done them in two years, I gotta get back and what they would look like now!😳
The curls, the eyeshadow, the amount of videos we got this week! 👏👏👏
I know right lol
yay! so glad we did this! Also, love that we both prefer our own routines, but it was so much fun to try something new! 🙌
GURL ur curls are AWESOME
@@eshalnusrat9301 thank you! 🥰🙏😘

I neither have time nor patience to finger coil my hair. Having said that Bianca's hair looks absolutely wonderful
hold up hold up... TWENTY MINUTES?! when i do this it takes me at LEAST 2 hours😂😂
Right me too
Took me about 4 hours the last time I did them and I didn't even like them once they dried😩 so I ended up just doing a wash n go the next day.
Ha ha. If you denman while masking with sopping wet it should go faster. I’m lazy too
Hahaha! That's what I was saying! When she said 20 min. Like it was a long time I was like oh thats real good!
5hours😫

Beautiful results!!!as always💖
Today's wash day, I'm eager to try this! I felt meh about the air dry cream, but that was just slapping it on and... air drying. We'll see if it works with this method!
Thank you I have been wanting finger coil so now I see it - enough for me - I love definition but too lazy for that level lol. However will pair the products for my lazy wash and go!
Love this, I’ve always wanted to try this but I’m also lazy 🤣🤣🤣, but watching this makes me want to give it a try this week.
Love the results. I am team definition. I think i could do this on the front of my hair which is a lot looser than the rest of my hair
Good video! The new curl style looks good on you... even though I know you prefer a quick easy hair style... I do too!
I use to finger coil allllll the time. It kept my hair so moisturized and when they dried and I pulled the apart I use to look like Claudia from Interview With The Vampire. 😂 I haven't done them in two years, I gotta get back and what they would look like now!😳
Are you gonna review Twist hair products
Beautiful ringlets. I’m a two strand twist girl 😌
