What an awesome idea! I have thought about those particular containers a lot. I hope you are making charcoal as I suggested and putting in your mulch patch. Your garden it looks excellent it's growing great and looks awesome and if you use the suggestion that I gave you about the charcoal in your mulch patch and put it over your garden next winter your yield will triple. It can't hurt to try it. If you need suggestions on how to make a larger quantity of charcoal just let me know. Y'all do so good. I would say y'all have one of the best homesteads around your area. May God bless you and yours. PS I don't know if I mentioned this or not but you have to grind up your charcoal into a powder in order to put it on your mulch patch
Yeah, we used to collect with barrels that collected water from the creases of our roof and I would have to carry a watering can back and forth. But now I have water leading directly to the garden. It's going to be nice this summer. :)
How are you filtering the water? I hope you realize water coming of the roof contain chemicals and heavy metals that are on the roof and leeching out of the shingles then when you water the plants they are up taking those substances and you are ingesting them. Stay safe 🤙🏼

Thank you, I'll look into it. :)
Those concrete blocks are designed to give you all their strength when they’re standing with the holes vertical!
Very clever to use the gutter rain. We have a barrel next to thr garden and it doesn't do a very good job collecting
